Great shoes! They are very comfortable and work well whether I am at the gym or just out running errands.

I have been wearing Avia shoes for over ten years and have found their sizing to be consistent. I wear a 7 in other shoes but get 7.5 in these. They fit me better than any other brand I've tried. I have a medium width foot but a narrow heel and have trouble with other brands sliding up and down on my heel. Also, I've had trouble with the cut of other brands, hitting my ankle bones--Avia is cut low enough that it clears my ankle bones and doesn't rub like the others.

I bought these for my 83-year-old mom. She's always been active and walked a lot, but in the past year had a fight with cancer, chemo, staph infections, etc., etc., etc. She's better now, but the illnesses and treatments and residual problems have left her weak and less steady on her feet. She wanted new white walking shoes and I found these. They're great. Fit well, nice and stable, hold up great, and clean up well. I'd recommend these to anyone in need of walking shoes.

I purchased these shoes for my sister. She has had issues with heel spurs; she gladly reports the cantilever heel has helped a great deal. And Zappos is as awesome as ever!

I have had these shoes for about 4 months. I work in a hospital and am on my feet all day. I am pleased with them, but the right shoe has split open on the outside right where the leather upper meets the sole. Usually my sneakers last a bit longer than this.

These sneakers were a disappointment. I have been wearing only Avia sneakers for years and when I took these out of the box was immediately surprised at how cheap they looked and felt. I tried them on anyway and one of the sneakers pressed uncomfortably against the top of one foot. They went back in the box quickly. If this is the way Avia is now making sneakers, and considering that my last several pair all disintegrated in the same fashion - with a wire starting to poke through the ankle padding to rub against my ankle - I am in the market for another brand.

These shoes are very comfortable. I will not buy them again. Within 3 months the soles were worn down. I hardly wore them.
