I work in a warehouse type setting and am on my feet the entire 4-6 hours at work. The first pair of Ariats I ordered were a 7.5 normal width (my shoe size) a year ago. I wore them for about 2 weeks and came home in agony - I could barely walk. My hubby tried to stretch them for months (hard to do with steel toes) until I finally abandoned them for a cheap pair from Fleet Farm. At the beginning of 2014, I ordered a pair of 8 normal width - they are comfortable and fit much better but I can't wear really thick socks. So a week later, I ordered an 8 wide...these seem ideal with/without thick socks. Bottom line, these are stunning steel toe shoes but order a size up and go wider if you're ever planning to wear thicker socks. I'm planning to donate the 7.5s to charity.

These are the most comfortable safety toe shoe I have ever worn. This is my second pair of the same shoe. I wear a 7 shoe and order a size 8 and it fits perfectly.

These are great. I bought the size I normally get and after a 2 days they were stretched perfectly to my feet.

Oh my gosh. Let me just say, I love, love, love these shoes! I work at a power plant and I am required to wear safety shoes any time I'm walking around outside. Boots with laces are annoying. These clogs are amazing! And they are so stylish! I get compliments all the time, even from guys in the field. I wear a size 7.5 dress but ordered a size 8. I wear normal socks and they are breaking in nicely. The heel is starting to slip slightly, but I think a 7.5 would have been too small. You will not be dissappointed in these shoes! I'm so excited women's work shoes have so many options. 8 years ago I was wearing man boots! Thanks Zappos for carrying awesome shoes!

These are heavy, but definitely fit the need of having nice looking safety shoes at the workplace. I had really hoped to find a composite toe, but that does not appear to be offered in shoes that look nice. These fit true to size. I normally wear a 10½, but sometimes fit 10 and sometimes fit 11. The 11 fits just fine if I wear a pair of wool socks, and then a pair of black trouser socks over the top. The 10 was a bit too small.

I love them. The sizing information is correct. A great work shoe that is comfortable and does not look like a work shoe.

Absolutely love these shoes. They feel heavy in my hand; but, they don't feel heavy on my feet. These are easily a great pair of shoes that work well in an office setting and also an industrial/construction site.

These just arrived yesterday and I was thrilled at the style, exactly what I was expecting! Very smart looking. I was going to wear them for a few days around the house to make sure of the comfort; however, after just 2 hours I decided to throw caution to the wind and put them to the real test. I wore them at work for the full 8 hour shift (I work in a industrial facility where steel toe shoes are mandatory) and I experienced not one problem with these shoes! Love them!

Absolutely love these safety shoes. They look good with a dressier pant so there is no need to switch between dress shoes and the safety shoe when going between business meetings and the plant floor. A little heavy, like most safety shoes, but comfortable for all day wear.

These shoes don't look like safety shoes. They are my first pair of safety shoes, so I don't have any comparison. They are stiff and fairly heavy, but look reasonably good for a casual work environment. The quality is excellent.

This shoes are so comfortable can't believe in a steel toe shoe I have to wear for work I would wear them everyday.

Very comfortable! No "breaking in" required. I conducted walk-thrus for 3 consecutive days with no feet or back issues! Received great comments on the look as well! A co-worker wants a pair! I referred her to the site!

Was ok looking for work, but not great to wear with skirts or dresses as I had hoped. The other reviews were correct that they are snug when new, but I ordered my normal size because I think they will be worn in.

Awesome shoe! Fits like a glove. Very comfortable and supportive at the same time. Looks great with jeans and dress pants alike. Shipping was quick too. Ordered on a Tuesday, had them by Friday. I doubt I'll ever buy any other shoe but this one - it's that comfortable.

These shoes are simply amazing! I bought them after getting tired of an ugly sneaker pair of steel toes and am so happy with them! At first they are a little stiff, but once you break them in they are great. They are extremely comfortable and I have received so many compliments about them! They really don't look like steel toes which is a huge plus. I highly recommend these!

Have another pair of Ariat clogs and I love them and this pair does not disappoint either! I feel quite sturdy on my feet with them; they cover the whole foot. I am an older person and their heft and good fit are important. The steel toes help the toe box keep its size. One thing I thought would be a problem turned out not to be: the shoes were difficult to get on at first because the fit is so close but a shoe horn did the trick. Get a pair. You will love them!

I put these on and don't have to think about my feet all day! They have great arch support, a toe grip, have a flexible sole, and look great with pants and jeans. There is room for an orthopedic insole when I need it but with the support provided, I find I can work on my feet all day without hurting. I have other Ariat footwear but find myself coming back to these clogs as a first choice for a long day.

I love the ability to slip these shoes off and on. I appreciate being able to wear them in the work place and out in public as they do not look like a work shoe! I found them to be true to size but more narrow in the toe than I am used to. Not having to bend over to tie a shoe is a big selling point for me as I work in a soybean lab and kept getting sand in my other shoes which I would have to dump out when I was done evaluating seedlings!

I work on a construction site and need to look professional. These are absolutely perfect and far more attractive than the other options.Ordering my second pair after wearing my first pair everyday for over three years. They still look great but I wore the heal out stepping into them and should use a shoe horn. Extremely comfortable, looks good with jean or dress pants which is saying a lot for a safety shoe.

The Ariat clog is the most stylish, comfortable safety shoe I have ever owned. I work in a manufacturing environment where safety shoes are required on the shop floor. These shoes are so comfortable that I sometimes forget to switch back to my street shoes before I leave work.

These are great looking work shoe especially in a steel toe. I get compliments on them. I work as a mechanic and stand on my legs all day. These are not the best shoes for all day comfort. They need a little more cushioning.
