I have been wearing this shoe for ten years -- the same pair! I have a horse barn, and having a slip-on AND steel toe was convenient AND safe. It's great to slip on when going out to the barn half asleep in the morning or scurrying out there in the evening. How many broken toes have I saved from a horse stepping on me -- I'm sure more than one. I love the Ariat fit since I have feet like canoes -- long and skinny. (I also wear the Ariat Terrain, love 'em.) The shoes have finally begun to fall apart, the sole coming apart from the leather uppers, after many years, many wet fields, much manure. It's a workhorse shoe! I'll throw them away -- eventually!

These are the best/nicest safety toe shoes that I have ever had. I love them! Additionally, since I drive a big truck, they give me just that little bit of extra sole-thickness that makes operating the clutch pedal easier. (I do not have long legs.) I wear these every day hauling frac sand in West Texas. I am not sure if they would be so comfortable with thick socks.

I really liked this shoe. definitely stylish, and comfortable. I noticed mixed reviews about the sizing. I'm having to exchange mine because it was too small. My conclusion is that if you typically wear two different sizes depending on brand, or have bunions (I do) go up a half size.

Great safety shoe for women. I work as a facilities engineer. I wear dress pants and have to be in mechanical rooms and construction areas. These shoes are super comfortable (I wear them all day without feeling clumsy or heavy footed) and stylish to match dress pants. All the females in the group recommend it to each other!

Had to exchange them. They fit like a glove, no room for even a thin sock. I am a 10 on the narrow side - Not offered in a 10.5 so I went with an 11. The eleven is too long in the back but I love them so much I added leather heel tabs to take up the space. Love the rubber soles for the anti static and they have been truly non slip in all conditions - wet,oil,ice, snow. Great for heel pain, the height of the soles and heel take some of the pressure off the heel. I like the support across the arch of the foot. My feet tend to roll inward and the arch support keeps me from doing that. The toe box is roomy, yet not too wide and there is a "roll" to the shoe from ball of the foot to heel that feels like your being propelled forward and there is a bounce to the rubber that takes up shock on concrete floors. The insoles are well padded. The best I have ever seen in a shoe of any kind, work or otherwise. The leather is high quality and thick yet pliable. They are heavy at first and had to be broken in. However, the style is so nice that they are worth the time. If I stop someplace after work I don't feel like I am showing up in my work boots. Did I mention I love them? The best designed work shoe I think I have ever found. Some one really put a lot of effort into this shoe! Well worth the money.

I work in a restaurant, I was tired of cheap shoes that I had to keep replacing after a short time. These are stylish, comfortable and have the added bonus of steel toe.

High quality leather outsole, padded leather insole, elastic sides for perfect fit, stylish yet comfortable, especially for a safety shoe!

Very comfortable and attractive -- you'd never know they were safety shoes! I felt that I needed ankle coverage as well due to the type of production environment I work in, but these deserve great reviews.

This is a fabulous shoe for comfort and for style. After reading the reviews, I purchased my true size in a wide width. I don't normally buy a wide width unless the style requires it, but I'm glad I did. They fit perfectly! I've worn them now for several weeks. Although my job does not require me to wear them every day, I have worn them all day on several occasions with no problem. They fit very snug and are very comfortable.

These shoes required a little break in as the leather is firm. Also, they run narrow. I normally take a medium width and had to exchange these for a wide. Great shoe, very comfortable and supportive. Nothing flimsy here.

I work in a hospital, and was tired of the usual clogs (Sanita, Dansko, etc) that were comfortable enough but provided poor protection, leaving my toes at the mercy of stretchers, c-arms, portable machines, etc. and anything else that could run upon my foot. On a whim, I wondered if this sort of shoe existed (my only memory of steel toe shoes were of ungainly boots). I took a chance, based on the other reviews, and I have no complaints so far. The fit is on the smaller size, not sure if that's due to the make or the reinforcement, but you'd be well served to order a size larger. Otherwise, very comfortable, very stylish, and very much able to protect my tootsies!
