Even "Wide" is narrow! I ordered this in 8 1/2 WIDE in the brass supple kid. Pretty shoe, but MUCH smaller than 'true', and even narrower. Very high heel at 4.5 inches (measured from the very back, and highest part of heel). The internal measurement of the sole is just 3.25 inches in width at the ball of the foot and 10.25 inches in length from the very tip of the (very pointy) toe to the heel. To have this in a size that fits would mean very long shoe! I have wide feet and this is a 'wide' fitting, but is much narrower than my other Weitzman of the same size and width! The way the toes show is also unsightly in my opinion. My daughter who takes the same size as I but has VERY slim feet found it narrow too.

Stuart Weitzman's classic black pump, with a modern twist - This is a truly beautiful shoe, and it is extremely well-made, definitely worth the money - but the fit of the shoe was almost an entire size too small, and it felt a bit narrow. This was the first Stuart Weitzman shoe I've ever purchased, so I'm not sure if it was this particular style of shoe in particular that fit small, or if all of Stuart Weitzman's shoes, in general, have a tendency to run a size or two smaller and have a narrower fit, overall. I've always been a size 10, and my size has not changed in over 5 years; so, I was a bit surprised when I tried this shoe on and it did not fit. It was very small, it barely fit my foot. It was about a half size too small, and rather narrow. I absolutely love the look of this shoe, and I think it is a fabulous classic black pump with a bit of a modern twist - and would be a great staple piece to have. Unless you have purchased Stuart Weitzman shoes before, and know your size - I would probably recommend buying it from the store, rather than online; so you can try on several different sizes and widths, and get the correct fit for you.

OUCH!! I usually wear an 8 so I ordered an 8 1/2 W. The length was just right but the shoe felt very narrow. They are beautiful but very painful to wear. I bought some shoe stretchers from Target and put them in when I'm not wearing them. They are also extremely difficult to walk in.

Love the sexy 1960s secretary heels look - hate the way they have a hard time fitting my bunion and making me hobble. Back to Zappos they go. Not recommended with anyone with even a slight bunion. If you have a narrow foot, you'll be in luck.

I ordered these shoes based on the great reviews. But when I received them I thought they looked terrible! The front was way too long and pointy for me. I am sending them back.

While the shoe is a very elegant, the construction is awful. I have returned two pairs so far because the heels have snapped after a very short time.

Not for small feet! I have long admired this shoe online and I finally found it in a size that fits me; I usually wear a 4 in SW (I measure a 3.5) but I tried the 4.5 because these do run VERY narrow. They are beautiful shoes but if you are a 4, 4.5, or 5, the angle is almost impossible. It is just too high a heel for the length of my small foot, and combined with the shoe being very narrow, I felt like I was going to topple forward. They are also cut very low on the sides so if you have a high arch like me this shoe will not hold it. It is a shame, as this is a beautiful shoe!

Killer shoes - (your feet will kill you!) Whoa! Boy was I wrong in trying these! I guess I should have figured being a 6 ft tall woman, who wears a size 12 shoe, that: A. Fire engine red patent is not the right color or material for me. B. 4" stilettos are not for me either! I recommend these shoes only to women who need to add the height to their petite stature, to women who want to make their feet appear 2 sizes bigger than they really are and to women who want to painfully kick someone in the...these shoes will kill your feet or someone that you attack with them...all kidding aside, they are truly dangerously pointy and severe looking!

Sexy shoe, impossible fit - I loved the look of this shoe in the box, and as an inanimate object out of the box. In reality, the shoe is not close to my size - I am a 9 narrow, my perfect fit is a Donald Pliner 9, and my arches are so high I can wear sky-high heels all day - I actually am disappointed that this shoe, and other Weitzman’s, as they are really not designed to be purchased on the Internet - I would caution potential Weitzman buyers to only purchase shoes they try on first until they get their sizing correct. I am returning this, and will not purchase Weitzman’s online!

No good - So, I have to return these shoes, and the SW sensual, WAAAAYYYY tooooooo narrow for me, even in a size up, and way tooo high to wear for the 6 hours I needed to. I am good with a pretty high heel, but nothing like these. BIG BUMMER~

Shoe is way narrower than a normal Weitzman. It is beautiful but not sized properly at all. I wear 4 inch heels everyday but could not last 15 minutes in this one with the lack of room. I normally wear a 6.5 and should have ordered a 7.5. Zappos you guys are great but Stu, although these are sexy, they are miserably uncomfortable. Trying again...
