This is a beautifully styled shoe. Perfect for that not-too-dressy yet not completely casual look. Initially when I put the shoe on it felt great -- right amount of padding in the footbed, right heel height -- and I thought I'd be able to wear them all day without discomfort. However, there's this weird thing with the footbed -- it actually abrades the bottom of my foot across the front pad, so by the end of the day the skin itself is tender and sore like its been sanded! I'm hoping that as the front straps stretch a bit, this issue will resolve.

It looks so great! But the top band was hurting my feet. I wish they would have put some elastic on the side. I brought it to a cobbler to have it stretched. It cost me 7$ and they now fit perfectly.

I really wanted to like this shoe. BUT the shoe just did not feel right and it was a little elderly in style.

I adore these shoes for style. I hope they'll become more comfortable. As the uppers are mad-made, I don't know whether there will be any "give" in the tightness. But I do wish I could have them in other colors that are not patent. I would buy them if they came back into stock.

These are cute and comfortable, but slightly wider than expected -- the leather stretches a bit. The straps are a little long, but I'll make an extra hole and that should do the trick!

These are beautiful. They have the look that I needed, but they are not as comfortable to me as the other pair of Softspots. They patent leather seems harder and I didn't have right of the box comfort like my old pair (not this shoe). It may just be me that I wedges better. Size 9W. Perfect for my size foot.

This shoe is amazingly comfortable and well fitting, but it's just a little too old for me. If the straps were a little narrower it would be perfect. Sadly, it's going back.

Beautiful shoe but a little too large. I wish I had seen the Euro sizes listed. I would have ordered a Euro 36 that always fits vs. American 5.5 vs 6. The 6 was too big.

Cute style, great height for work (where I'm on my feet a lot), pretty metallic grey is a great neutral, but other Softspots are much more comfortable. The patent leather is stiff and rubs a bit against the tops of my toes and feet; I'm hoping they break in a little with a few more wears. Still, the footbed is soft and comfortable, and they have a wider toe area, which is helpful for those of us with bunions.

Love the look of the shoe and it fits pretty good, a little wide. I have a narrow foot and it's a bit wider than normal but by the end of the day when feet swell it fits perfectly.

I bought the shoes to wear to my daughter's wedding. They were cute, stylish and a beautiful color. Comfortable for the ceremony and through the first part of the evening, but I switched into a shorter heel for dancing.

Very comfortable, just a tad bit wide wide if your foot is on the narrow side. Great with all different looks, slacks, dresses, capris.

Very cute shoes and very comfortable. The only problem that I had was the heel strap was too large. It kept falling down.

Love the shoe, but have to return them. The medium is too wide and my foot slides forward in them causing the straps to slip off my heel. It pains me to part with them.

I agree with the strap problem as others have reviewed. I think that the strap needed to be about 1/2 shorter. I am not sure how I will make it not slip.

Very soft, but the wide is super-wide. Also runs longer than normal. I would order a full or half size smaller than usual.

Very cute and comfy. I almost never size down from a 10, but did have to return for a 9 1/2 to eliminate the extra length behind my heel. The top strap nearest my ankle doesn't lie flat, but that doesn't bother me. I pick these from my closet as often as possible and am thinking of getting the navy.

Really pretty sandals, and true to size (the narrow is a true narrow). Unfortunately the rubbery sole did not feel stable enough to me (I'm don't wear heels much). The sand color is much pinker than the almond, although they look almost identical online.

Positive. This is a comfortable shoe for walking and wearing all day. It feels true to size and width. Negative-the back strap is a little loose and could use another adjustment and they make a squeaky sound on some floor surfaces (which I found out wearing to work). Overall, I am happy with the shoe and will keep it and wear it again. It is more of a casual black sandal then a dressy so if you are looking for a sandal shoe for a dressy occasion this would not be it. :)

Very stylish. Seemed like they'd be comfortable. But, they do run large.

I love this shoe because I have a very hard time finding shoes that are both comfortable and fashionable. The color is fabulous, true to the picture on the site. Because they are supposed to feel like you're walking on air, they take a little getting used to. They don't feel like a traditional heeled shoe, but I like the height that I need to wear these with dress pants to work. I would highly recommend them.

I bought these sandals for my 59-year-old mom, who has wide feet. We used to shop size "W" at Easy Spirit, or found wider normal size shoes at Macy's. But at our last shopping trip we had no luck, and she needed new sandals, so we look at Zappos, and bought this pair. My mom has been using them for almost a month now, and she finds them soft and comfortable. All in all she is very happy, especially because the wide size was the perfect fit. Her only concern is that at the end of the day, her feet are tired. Her feet don't get tired with her similar Geox sandals.
