i have arthritis and bunions in my toes so they are very hard to fit. I need sandals, and Soft Spots came up when searching for extra wide width so I decided to try them. They are cute in style, which is tricky when looking for xw shoes. The shoes fit my width, but the problem was the back straps. They were too big, even tightening them to the lowest hole. From experience i know shoes stretch out with wear and the feet tend to slide down heels, so I knew the staps would only get looser. I decided to not risk it and sent them back. I will watch for other shoes by this brand though.

This was not very wide. My foot hurt putting it on.

Comfortable, small toe hangs out the side of shoe, between openings, Would not buy again.

The strap around the ankle needs another hole to be able to tighten it more, but since the strap starts to widen, even if we poke another hole, it won't pull easily through the buckle in order to fasten it. I'm disappointed because the sandal fits wonderfully for my wide feet except for that (and I walk out of the shoes even when buckled on the tightest hole).

looked like someone else had bought, worn and then returned, the material was marred and the sling was on the outer hole and that last hole was stressed. moving to the middle hole, the sling was too loose and constantly fell down. overall, the heel was not in an ideal spot as slightly wobbly the few steps I could take when the sling mostly correctly adjusted

Love the style of this shoe but not how it fit. It smushed my toes.

I have a wide foot. The width fit me well but the back strap was too loose even on the tightest setting. My foot came out with every step so I was unable to keep them.

So I love the look of these shoes (gold/cork). Were going to replace some cork slides. I was very excited for a bit dressier summer shoe. They are very pretty in person and the footbed is super soft and comfortable. Unfortunately, I could feel all the inner seams on the upper of the shoes. Not sure if this was a defect or the norm for this shoe, but I knew the constant scratching would leave blisters and irritate me. They are going back.

I wanted to really love these. The footbed is comfortable and the heel height is great (not too high). But sadly the front is slightly narrow (and I have very thin feet), the front straps are too tight/painful (the stitching is very tight and rough), and the front is just maybe slightly granny-looking. Maybe the suede would be better in terms of the stitching(I got the regular black leather), but the straps were going to be just way too painful.

Ordered a 9.5 N but it was still too wide across top of foot. Otherwise it was as described and appeared online. The soft padding of the "Pillowtop" seemed like it would be comfortable to walk on, but I did not try these for long.

I really think these are wonderful shoes, and I’ve given them two tries now and really want to keep them… But one of the shoes squeak. Another reviewer mentioned a squeak, but I was hoping it was just an odd ball type of thing. Unfortunately one, not both, of these shoes squeaks-it seems to have something to do with the patent leather rubbing against itself somewhere-I admit that I have not spent a lot of time trying to figure out exactly where the problem is. But I can’t stand shoes that squeak, so these will have to go back.

These are soft on the soles. Wanted them to fit; but even the narrow was still roomy around the toe area. Also the strap is too loose. When you put it on the tightest hole it pushes your heel forward.... so no winning. Pretty shoe. Too bad.

I couldn't adjust the heel strap so that my heel wouldn't slip. The toe area wasn't very comfortable. It dug in slightly into my foot.

wonderful cushion, but comically large. Ordered a half size smaller, but the proportions still don't match my foot especially well. These shoes are okay, but I'd feel better about them if they were half the price.

My heels are narrow and my toe box is wide, so it's hard to find well fitting shoes. I ordered this in a wide, and the fit isn't perfect- it rubs against my toe somewhat, and the heel area is still a bit too roomy- but I'm hanging onto them for right now. If I can find a better alternative before I need to wear them, I'll send these back, as they're a bit pricey for a non-fitting shoe.

OUCH! Wore these out one night in Vegas to see a show and have dinner. We walked about an hour and OUCH. Blisters on the balls of my feet and tops of my toes. The line between where the comfort pad ends and the toe area begins is where the blistering hit and rubbed. I had so much hope for these shoes. Great heel height and felt comfortable...until a little later. I've worn them for an hour or two and they were fine but any longer than that and I want to throw them away

My heel was slipping out of the shoe. I'm returning it for that reason. It was comfortable but the arch support felt like it was on the outside of the foot instead of the inside. It was a little weird. I would have kept it if it weren't for my heel constantly slipping. I can buy a $30 pair of shoes (instead of these at $80) and get pretty much the same fit in the heel.

Not as comfortable or as pretty as I had hoped but a nice shoe all in all.

I ordered 2 pairs, one patent leather, one suede. They were too big and the sling kept sliding off of the back of my foot. I sent them back and ordered a full size smaller, and they fit better, but still the sling back was not tight enough and I was walking out of them. This was very disappointing, because I loved the shoe and the fit otherwise. The sling was just too low on my achilles, and too loose. Sent these back and will try another brand

At first, I really liked these shoes, until I went to Wally World after church. They just don't fit well. They flap around even after adjusting the strap the entire length of the holes. My feet and legs were hurting so badly, I ended up taking a muscle relaxer and a pain med.

Great sandals but these were way too wide. I have owned other Softspots but this is the widest I've seen. It was a bit hard to walk in at first, but then I got used to it. But wide shoes are generally not safe so I would recommend skipping this if you plan to walk a long distance. Otherwise, they are pretty, and they are comfortable.

This shoe is much grayer in reality than it looks on line. It also runs a bit wide, so be warned.

I have toes that need a bigger toe box. I thought these shoes would be comfortable, but they were not. Hurt my toes as soon as I put them on. Straps are not soft; heel strap fell down right away. I am returning them. Zappos has excellent service; this is just a bad shoe for me.

I agree with the other reviews that stated this sandal looks matronly. It looks cute in the photos but not in person. Too bad because it fit and is comfortable with just the right heel height.
