I have the black and gray model and I used them primarily as a dress shoe so they were only worn 6 to 10 times a month. I love the look and fit, but the sole band around the base of the shoe delaminated within a month and a half. I exchanged them with Zappos and got a new pair and the same problem is happening and the license plate tags are coming unglued. I am pretty bummed out about this but I have no alternative but to return them and go with a new shoe. Since I am a freeride/downhill biker I can say these shoes wouldn't last half a season as a bike shoe. Thank goodness for Zappos, great customer service.

I recently have gone back to riding flats and I do not regret my decision on these whatsoever. I tried the Freerider Pros (too narrow) and the Contacts (not for FL. riding) before settling on these. These are comfortable and they stick to the pedals well.
I will most likely look at the Hellcats or Maltese for my XC Clipless riding.

I was really bummed when Fallen stopped making shoes. Ive looked long and hard but finally found a skate/bike shoe I love as much. These shoes are true to size, are super comfortable, and look great. You cannot go wrong with these.

Durable, well made shoe. Supportive upper with breathable canvas panels. Padded tongue but not to puffy. Only downside is the whimppy foot liner… it's thin, made from cheap foam, and (as usual) is without an arch insert.

The intent of my purchase was to get a soft soled shoe to stick well with platform pedals. I was directed to these among others buy 5-10's online support (try them, they're very fast to reply and very helpful at least to a beginner like me). I've had these out only 5-10 times now but I'm hooked. I can't talk to the wear that others have expressed concerns on but they do stick! For those not ready to hit that 6" bridge on the trail with clipless yet, these are worth looking at. Comfort is moderate only because they have to be stiff for pedaling and likewise with arch support so don't take that as a negative. I'd gripe about energy loss to the pedal if they weren't stiff. Some have mentioned shoe size for 5-10s run large but for Freeriders I concur with the other reviews of this line that they are true to size. I'm a newbie to MTB but for what it's worth, I really like these shoes!

Loved the style, look and quality of shoes but unfortunately they made my feet numb because I typically where a size 12 4E.
Someone said they are cut wide so I figured I’d try them but not wide enough for my feet.
I wish someone would make a bike shoe with wide sizes. I can’t find any vendor that does.
Going back to using my new balance 12 4E sneakers with a thick orthotic to make them stiffer for more power when pedaling.

The wide toe box is a nice touch. It's the only brand shoe that fits my wife feet.

for a stiff shoes, it's felt comfort and secure, the size and toe box allows your toes to move freely and naturally, without being squeezed or compressed.

I like the narrow sole that fits totally on the pedals without getting in the way of the crank shaft.

Bought these on sale an couldn't be happier. I've had them about a year and they are holding up very well. I like them so much, I wear them off the bike as much as I do on the bike.

These shoes fit great and feel awesome even after a full day of wear. My only gripe is that the sole is oddly loud. It sounds like I'm wearing heels on hard floors.

Not my first pair of Freeriders and won't be the last. great for all levels of biking and great for just daily use as well. I have pretty wide fit and the toe box doesn't make me feel suffocated or cramped. The Stealth rubber compound mixed with the tread pattern leave a very confident and grippy feeling as well, no regrets.
