I was hesitant to buy these at first because I've been dying to get the 1460w's for the longest time. I once had an opportunity to try the 1460w and felt that they were way too stiff (but didn't care cause their look completely made up for it). Not being able to find 1460w in my size anywhere, I decided to give a shot to Pascals. And in all honesty, I couldn't have made a better decision. They are sleek, sexy, and extremely comfortable (more so than the 1460w). I got them this morning and haven't taken them off since. No need to break in, they just mold to your foot and feel ridiculously good. I'm an American size 8, but have to get Docs in size 5.

Love! I have the purple and the color is beautiful. It is a dark purple, not neon so it is subtle. Sizing - I am a 7.5 Narrow, and UK 5 fits me perfect. If you are a half size, recommend going down a half unless you have wide feet.

I am happy with this new pair of Doc marten boots, the leather is soft and sturdy and the pattern is colorful and happy. They fit the same as other pairs that I have had. They are slightly big for my narrow size 8½ American foot. The 7 British size is the closest I can fit them but a thick pair of socks and I am good to go!

Love my boots. Nice leather and the flower print is so cute. I wear them to work all day long and have no problems.

I loved the look of these boots, but was concerned about the care and durability of the flocked stripes. I contacted Doc Martens directly, and they said that no shoe care products should be used on these boots, and that they are solely a "fashion" item with limited durability of the stripes! I was shocked since this brand is so well known for its careful construction and great durability of their other products, so I returned them. At this price point it's just not worth paying for a fashionable look that is not going to last.

I opened the box and promptly fell in love. I was afraid that the shoes would make my feet look clownish but they are actually very compact. The floral pattern is stylish but still neutral enough to be worn multiple ways. I need to break in the boots, as they are a bit stiff but overall I am in love with them. And of course Zappos had fantastic service, I ordered on Wednesday and got the boots on Friday.

I have never owned a Dr.Marten boot and was slightly intimidated to order...as I am 69 years old, have an unusually high arch and always need a roomy toe box. The wild aqua color caught my eye, and with free shipping, what did I have to lose if they did not work? Well folks....I am so much "cooler and cuter" than I was last week now that I am decked out in these extremely comfortable and fun boots. Thanks Zappos! Docs have always run a bit larger, I am usually a 6.5 US and I ordered a 6 (4UK) These Pascals are exactly like the shown the photo. I love the finish (not too glossy and a fine matte) I've worn it around the house and so far it's pretty comfortable but expect the pain to come during the "breaking in" process. Very excited to match these with my floral print dresses. This is a must have!

This is my first pair of Dr. Martens in almost 20 years and I'm so glad I bought these. They're more comfortable than ever and I love the lighter style made for women. This gray color goes with a lot. I get compliments on these boots every time I wear them. My last pair of Docs lasted nearly ten years, and I expect these will hold up just as well.

I have always liked the looks of the Docs but this is the 1st pair that have actually been comfortable due to the other pairs being too wide. These fit my average width feet although could be more narrow in the ankles and heels. I wear 6.5-7.0 shoes and got these in UK 4/US 6. I put a gel foot liner in these which were from a pair of running shoes to give more support. No break in time, soft not stiff. Love the grey color and the classic Doc look is smashing! Ordered the Dr. Martens Pascal white Virginia and glad I did! These boots are so cute and stylish they go with so many outfits and styles. I originally wanted the 1460 white smooth but I like these so much more, because they're a little different from the originals. Great quality leather, but needs a little breaking in. All in all, great pair of boots!

These are the greatest shoes! I had a pair of 1460s in the smooth leather a few years back, and could not break them in. They caused me so much pain that I eventually got rid of them, but I have always loved the way Docs look so I decided to give this softer leather a try. And boy am I glad that I did! I honestly don't want to wear any other shoes anymore! From day one they felt broken in, and I have gotten no blisters or soreness at all, even with wearing them all day and walking around campus or a mall. The lead Virginia color is a true gray color, and it is very versatile. The shoes are so bouncy and comfortable, and the leather is so soft and supple. I can't say enough great things about them! I will definitely be back for another color eventually. I usually wear a size 8 or 8.5 in regular shoes, and I have the 8 (UK 6) and they fit perfectly.

So comfy, I can't stop wearing them day after day. Supple leather and bouncy soles means no break in. They look bad ass, what can a lady say? I plan on getting a red, perhaps a black pair. I work on my feet all day, and they feel great! Having no halfsies, you need to commit to one half up or down. As a US women's 7.5, I went w/ UK 6 (us w 8) and with medium socks they're perfect!

I own a restaurant and I was looking for comfortable shoes that were not sneakers and that are adult enough looking. I love my new Docs. I have had them all my life, but the Pascals feel like they are made for women. They are narrower than the other models that I have tried which I like because just because I am a size 10 does not mean that my feet are wide. The leather is lighter than other Docs, which I like for the summer, but it will be fine in the winter too with heavier socks. The new grey color is beautiful!I will be buying another pair of Pascals soon!

These are great shoes but customer service was bad with no quality control. These shoes are amazing. When you treat them with the wonder shoe basalm, the leather is so soft and supple, and the shoes are probably the most comfortable that I have ever owned. My first pair was from eBay, and I decided to order a second pair from Zappos. I have always liked Zappos. They have a great selection, and people rave about the customer service. Well, my experience with customer service was not good. I ordered a UK 5 (US 7) in the cherry red and received a UK 3 (US 5). When I checked the Zappos receipt that came in my package to see if I had made a mistake, I noticed there was no quality control section - that is, nowhere to indicate that my package had been double checked to ensure that I was receiving the correct size and style. I thought this was a lapse, a mistake. I was not aware that Zappos does not do quality control. In addition, when I attempted to exchange these for the correct size, there was no space to explain an error had been made. So I initiated a return instead and contacted customer service via email, telling them what had happened and asking them to please double check my order before it went out this time - basically, I was complaining because I thought that quality control had missed my package and wanted to ensure they did not miss it a second time. I received an email a short time later saying that they could not double check my order. That is all. No explanation. This was followed by another email some time later saying the shoes had shipped. I called customer service the next morning to see why no one could double check my order. They actually told me Zappos has no quality control. There is no system in place where people double check to ensure you are receiving the right size or even the right item. One person apparently does all the packing and there is no system of oversight - at least, this is the explanation that the customer service representative gave me as to why no quality control was indicated on my receipt and as to why my new order would also not go through quality control. Customer service rudely told me that I could not expect the entire warehouse to hold up production so that my order could be double checked when no one else's ever was, and that people make mistakes, and then told me if another mistake was made, there was a UPS 0.9 miles from my home. Because I insisted that it was unreasonable to expect me to keep taking off work to wait in line at the UPS store (because, as Zappos also clearly states, you cannot use the UPS pickup service with their return labels), they said they could send the package to customer service to be checked there. This will delay my package by 3-5 days, evidently. Customer service made it seem that it was somehow my fault that I had received the wrong size, and made a big deal out of how they would do this for me now even though they do not normally do this. They just kept repeating how the UPS store was not far from me and how people made mistakes. I had to stay on the phone with them for 30 minutes to get them to do anything at all. They really were not interested in dealing with my issue whatsoever. I will not be using Zappos again after this irritating experience. Never have I dealt with a single company without quality control, and I am surprised that one can even exist in this day and age. Even Amazon, big as it is, always has the name of someone who has double checked your package on their receipts. If a company is going to try to skimp on the quality control, you would think they would have better customer service than this.

These boots are fantastic! I ordered the gray (i.e., the Lead Virginia) and they are great. I work eight hours a day on my feet in a warehouse and these boots were super comfortable and required no break in time. The boots are a little roomy, so I would order down if you are a half size. The leather is super soft and supple. They are highly recommended!

The boots are fantastic. I tried the shoes in a US size 9 and they were huge. They were out of all willow pattern shoes, so I reordered a pair of size 8 willow boots. They look great. Just the pattern I wanted, fit perfectly and are amazingly comfortably on my problem feet. Plenty of room for orthotics and a deep toe box for hammer toes. I highly recommend them.

Super comfortable, no break in time. They are a work of art, so many compliments. Even better in person.

Love my Pascals! I wear a US Women's 7 1/2 and the 5's fit me perfectly. Got them in Shiraz, which is a really nice deep red that will go with a lot of my clothes. Ordered on Sunday, arrived that Tuesday - nice job, Zappos!

These were probably the best thing I've ever bought. I was hesitant at first because they were pricey for my budget, but they have been so worth it. I wear them constantly, and they are incredibly comfortable. Also I had read that Doc Marten's have a terrible breaking-in period, but I had no problem with these at all. I love them! I hope they last me years and years.

I ordered the Shiraz which is a nice dark red. The first day I wore them to church, and old lady told me she liked them. Glad it's not that "clown" look and actually looks feminine. Looks great with dark blue jeans. As for comfort, I normally wear 7-7.5 but a UK 5 is a good fit (with thicker socks).

Awesome! I wanted red boots and these are exactly what I had in mind. They are a dark raspberry color. They are a matte finish, not glossy/shiny like the cherry red arcadia 1460's (which I also ordered at same time which are also beautiful but very dark and shiny). As for fit, the Pascals feel and look exactly the same as 1460's, so not sure why they're called Pascal. Minor detail. Very comfy out of box and true to DM fit (which means I think UK 5 = US 7.5) If you are a 7 like me, order the UK5 and wear thick socks.

I love these shoes, they're awesome! Zappos was good with the delivery too, which was great. Size was a bit big for me, even with insoles and thick socks, so make sure you're careful with the sizes. I think I was probably a half size, which wasn't available, but other than that, they're fine!
