I bought these for zumba; they are light weight with great support. Wore them right out of the box, no break-in required. I first tried the Studio D, but it didn't offer enough support. I found it very thin soled for the amount of jumping/impact in my zumba class. The Flex Low is great for the impact, pivoting and side to side motion, no knee pain, no tired feet...just a whole lotta zumba going on!

Due to my wide feet and my need for good arch support and stability, I had a really difficult time finding shoes I could use for Zumba. Trail runners grabbed too much and made my knees hurt. A pair of Puma dance shoes pivoted well but provided almost no cushioning or support, making my ankles and feet ache. \r\n\r\nAfter trying on about a dozen pairs looking for a solution, I finally found these Rykas at Zappos. They have good room in the toe box and provide plenty of support. The dance design helps them pivot well. I inserted an additional arch support and am now rocking these shoes at class a few times a week with no problems! Folks with wide feet looking for a good dance shoe--definitely check these out! I typically wear a men\'s 9-9.5 (men\'s for the width--I am a woman), and an 11 in these fits me well.

Love this shoe! Received it just yesterday and wore it for Zumba class this morning. It felt perfect right out of the box, no break in time at all, very comfortable. Allowed me to move around the floor for Zumba. This ones a keeper!

Purchased these shoes as a Mother\'s day gift for my mom who loves Jazzercise but could not find comfortable shoes. She absolutely loves them! She went with a 1\/2 bigger than her normal tennis shoe size.

I purchased these shoes for Zumba after trying a pair of FILA cross trainers that felt bulky and had way too much drag. My feet are a bit on the wide side and these felt comfortable right out of the box! They are light, flexible and move across the floor very nicely and perfect for Zumba. This is my second pair of Ryka shoes. I definitely recommend these for this kind of activity.

he most comfortable shoe I have ever worn! I wear to Zumba class and everywhere. I absolutely love these and highly recommend. I am 6 1/2 to 7. I did order 7 and they are a tiny bit loose. Next time 6 1/2. They are great for wide feet.

It took me a while to break in the shoes, but now I like them. They are lighter than my previous tennis shoes (New Balance). I needed a cross trainer and was having trouble finding a good one at a local store. I usually have to buy athletic shoes one size larger than my other shoes, and these shoes were no exception.

These shoes are great - very comfortable, light-weight, and supportive! I use them for Zumba and can move about very easily, unlike the athletic shoes I had been wearing for the class, which seemed heavy and cumbersome. Size was true to street size, just as I read in other reviews. I was surprised that for the price, there was no leather in the shoe but the man-made material is soft and there is lots of mesh that is breathable. They are a little odd-looking shape-wise, but not ugly.

I started to Jazzercise and I am a heavy person. The Ryka give me the support I need. I had no problems when I used them straight out of the box. I have recommended the Ryka to my friends.

I\'ve been wearing these for Zumba for several months now and love them. I found them to be comfortable right from the start. They are lightweight and fit true to my street shoe size. I find they give me good support and cushion. I usually wear an insert with athletic shoes but with these there was no need to do that.

This is a great shoe for step class or circuit training. Very comfortable and supportive. I wear a size 8 dress shoe but always go up a full size in athletic shoes. This shoe fit perfectly. Zappos service is amazing! I ordered the shoe one evening with regular no cost shipping and had the shoe about 18 hours later. Thank you, Zappos!

This is a great gym shoe. I was looking for a non-running shoe to use in weight training and cardio classes at the gym. I have a normal width foot and this shoe fits well. It felt a little snug at the widest part of my foot at first, but has broken in nicely. I like the way the shoe looks, too. Would definitely buy this again.

Great shoe with good arch. It is tight on the ankle. I would probably buy the white shoe if I got it again (black was good for winter with black pants but it looks funny now in summer).

Wonderfully lightweight and secure! I bought them for studio classes. I had a hard time finding just the right shoe for my 8N feet (and I bought the regular width). These are excellent.

Fantastic cross training shoe. Great support for weight lifting or any aerobics or strengthening class. A little heavy for a running shoe, but still works well. Order 1\/2 size larger than your normal sneaker. Perfect for training during pregnancy or any time you need a well balanced support shoe.

I needed a pair of shoes for working out. I do circuit training but still wanted a crosstrainer. I have somewhat of a wide foot and I also have realy bad feet. If I don't get the right shoe my feet pay the price. These shoes are wonderful. They are everything I needed and they fit very true to size. Some days my feet will be hurting and when I put these shoes on to go work out my feet no longer hurt. I love the look of these shoes. They have these cute little flowers that you can barely see on the toe but it just adds a touch of femininity to a already great looking shoe. I would recommend this shoe to everyone who is looking for a nice looking and exremely comfortable shoe. I will continue to buy this shoe as long as it is available. It really is an awesome shoe.

These shoes rock! What everyone says is true, they are comfortable right out of the box - no break-in period required. Just don’t make the mistake I did. If you want white shoes, go for the white with blue because it has all mesh and is very breathable. The white with pink only has mesh on the tongue portion of the shoe. I use these for Jazzercise and they are great for stability, however, I think I’m going to look for the inserts that another reviewer recommended. They are not as cushy as my Ryka running shoes.

I am in a high-energy aerobics class that involves both step and floor movements and have worn Nike running shoes for the class. My teacher suggested I purchase a pair of these shoes because I was having some pain in my knees and feet. What a difference!! The lateral support is amazing and the shoes are super light and comfy. I bought the shoes in wide, I have pretty wide feet. They fit perfectly right out of the box, and as the other reviewers have noted, there was no break in time. I have gotten so much more out of my work out with these shoes. I realize they are a little spendy, but please know that they are worth EVERY PENNY!!

I love these shoes! I have just recently discovered Ryka, and am very happy with them once I was convinced to always order up 1/2 size. This style was even better than the others I got (Assist XT) because they have such good padding for the ball of the foot, my problem area. They are nice and light weight and work well for "dancy" workouts on carpet. They’re not as pretty as the Assist XT, but who cares? As always, Zappos cannot be beat for service!

I bought a pair of Ryka Studio Flex shoes after hearing about them at Jazzercise and love them! I never buy shoes online; however, Zappos makes it so easy with their easy returns and no return shipping charges, that I decided to give them a try. My wide feet provide fitting challenges and I had already bought/returned two other brands from local stores. Within a few minutes of putting them on, the Rykas were completely comfortable, plenty wide in the toebox, have great support and are very light. I've been wearing Rykas for fifteen years because they always fit me like a glove and these were no exception. My feet are a little wide and my ankles are narrow so I have a hard time finding shoes that fit me well, but Rykas always fit me perfectly. I purchased these to wear in my gym classes and they are perfect for that purpose. I don't get "stuck" on the carpeting and don't tilt over when I put my weight on the sides of my feet as I was when using my regular running shoes. I ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS order a 1/2 size up when buying Ryka and they fit great!

A very comfortable pair of shoes. In the beginning they take a couple days of wearing to really get used to, but after that they fit like a charm. My only complaint is the fact that they still squeak when I walk on hard surfaces.

These are great shoes. I haven't worn Rykas in a while and I forgot how comfortable and well-fitting these shoes are. Only shoes I have found that actually fit a narrower heel. So glad I found them again and will be ordering more. Definitely worth the money!

The Ryka Studio Flex shoe is great for high impact exercise. I use them for a high impact dance/exercise class and they are wonderful at helping with shock absorption. I like the fit. I have bunions on both feet and I don’t feel any discomfort when using Ryka shoes. I have been purchasing and using Ryka shoes for dance/exercise classes the past 7 plus years.
