My son has been in Tsukihoshi shoes since he started walking. He has a very high instep and this brand is the most comfortable for him; however, the tongue on this particular shoe is a little narrow for his instep. The loose side just barely tucks into the shoe. He still says that they are super comfy & lightweight. Nice shoes!

I have bought a number of shoes of this brand and been happy with all of them except these. I have 3 boys - they go through shoes differently, but this pair has worn terribly - just fallen apart. For the high price, I want a stable shoe that will last. This is not that shoe - it's a lightweight easy on & off shoe that falls apart quickly.

I bought these for my son for Catholic School as he is required to have white shoes. I love how flexible and cute they are. However, the rubber at the front of the shoe is literally falling off. I need to find some shoe glue. He's had them for 6 weeks so obviously disappointed. Although I love them, this will prevent me from buying them again.

I'm usually very happy with Tsukihoshi sneakers, my 6 year old has had many pairs. But on this pair the soles started falling apart after less than 2 months. Maybe my kid is hard on them or something but it's a lot to pay for something that falls apart so quickly. They usually hold up better than cheaper shoes so I was disappointed in this pair.

Bought these as school shoes for my son last year. The fit was good, didn't love the style but the fit their purpose. The main problem I had with them was that the rubber strip that wraps around the toe came off just weeks into having them and looked ridiculous flapping around. I tried glue, which didn't last and ultimately just cut the little strip off. Disappointing for the $$.

These are my son's second pair of Tsukihoshi's, and I have to say, they are not as well made as the first. The front is peeling off, and they look like they will not be around long. It's a shame, because they are comfortable and light weight and expensive! Don't buy if you are looking for play shoes...maybe just for 'dress'.

I am a big fan of Tsukihoshi shoes, and so is my three-years-old son. It was his forth pair. My son is very picky about his shoes, so it's pretty challenging to find the right ones for him. Some shoes he rejects just by looking at them, others he agrees to try on, but takes them off immediately because they are not comfy. But Tsukihoshi are always a hit. My son likes them from the first sight, and when he tries them on, he does not want to take them off, so comfortable they are. That was the case with this pair Tsukihoshi Speed. However, I'm a little disappointed with this model because the shoes lost its shape in a couple weeks of my son wearing them. Now they look deformed and kind of worn-out. But my son still loves them.

Good quality shoe, but I was surprised to see that this one is not as wide as the previous shoe in this brand that we had. My son has a pretty wide (read chubby!) foot. The velcro barely reaches the other side to fasten the shoe, and comes unhooked sometimes. It does seem to be stretching out...it's okay, but I would not have kept the shoe if I didn't have to (we live out of the country, so too complicated to return for me...nothing to do with Zappos). I would say that the shoe is true to size and width, but I gave it 3 stars because my sons feet are wide and the previous shoe in this brand was wide enough so seems inconsistent within the brand.

Worn out in no time! These shoes are light and flexible and were great in that my son could run with speed and agility. However, they wore out in no time! The insoles and soles broke down and the toe box was falling apart. We have bought Saucony in the past and will go back to them because these shoes do not hold up.
