We love all the Tsukihosi kids athletic shoes. They are easy for the kids to put on themselves and easy for me to clean. These shoes are definitely worth the extra money!

I bought these shoes for my grandson and he loved them. They are very comfortable; he would not take them off. This was the first time I bought this brand and it will not be the last time.

This brand is wonderful. We have purchased several sneakers from its line and have never been disappointed. They are durable, well-made, comfortable and light weight.

My 5 yr old son loves his pair of shoes. Very light. I think it runs wide but my son just loves it. Easy to put on. Good quality. I feel I paid for a great pair.

Great sneaker for active "little people" True to size, light and washable - so it always looks nice. Seems to be very comfortable - our very active little 2, almost 3 year old, loves em from the moment they are on his feet. No red marks or chafing and he never wants to take em off. This is our 5th sneaker of this brand. We are hooked.

My son knows no other sneakers! Since my son started to walk, Tsukihoshi sneakers have been the only sneakers to grace his feet! Of all the pairs he's had, I would say the Speed model is the sharpest looking. And, like the others, the sneakers go on (and stay on) easily and seem to provide good support.

We didn’t buy these shoes from Zappos, but after 2 weeks of my 2 1/2 year old wearing these, the toes started to wear through. It has been 3 weeks now, and there are complete holes in both shoes in the toe area. He uses his feet to push on his bicycle, but I would expect a shoe at this price to last longer than a couple of weeks. His previous pair of sneakers were Stride Rites and they lasted 6 months before the toes started showing wear. They are cute and extremely flexible, but I would not recommend purchasing these for an active little boy.

This is our 2nd pair of Tsukihoshi shoes. And probably our last. They are well designed, nice to look at and super light weight, but like the last pair, not durable at all. We have owned these for about a month and they have been worn less than daily and the sole is falling apart. These aren\'t inexpensive shoes, they should hold up far, far better. Just a month in, I now need to find a new pair of shoes for my 5 year old. Lesson learned.

We have had these shoes for a week and the bottom sole has already detached itself from the shoe. This was the first time I purchased this brand (on recommendations from other reviews), would probably not do it again.

I was very disappointed in this shoe. This brand was recommended to me so I was very surprised that after less than 3 months my 3 1/2 year old son had worn through the toe area of one shoe and the tread on both shoes was very worn. This is from normal wear and tear. I have never had a problem with any other brand of shoe I have purchased for my son. I thought the quality of this shoe was very poor and I would not purchase it again or recommend it.

I've bought my 2 boys at least 6 pairs of Tsukihoshi shoes in the last 2 years. This style has been their favorite go-to shoe, and seemingly the most comfortable. My older son has worn out 2 pairs of this exact style. I don't think these hold up to wear-and-tear much better than other high-end kids shoes, though they held up much better than the Tsuki "Wheel" that I thought looked cooler in style, and way better than Skechers (will not buy Skechers again, such poor quality). My boys wear these shoes all the time, and they've lasted almost a year. They were probably ready for retirement at around 6-8 months, but they love them so, they've continued to wear them. I originally liked the very traditional athletic look of these shoes, but in looking for replacement shoes, my boys want the runner-styles they see in older boys' and grown-up running shoes, which tend to be much sleeker, but brighter-colored. Looking at the Tsukis currently available online, even though they have brightly colored (almost too-bright) shoes, their styles are just a bit off and aren't cutting it for my boys. Since these are so expensive, I won't be buying replacement Tsukis for them for now.

My son (age 3.5) loves this shoe! He can put them on himself, and they clean up beautifully in the wash.

We typically love this brand for our picky about comfort/fit child. In 5 years the shoes have typically been true to size. These shoes are quite long and wide. After sending back one larger pair, they are still too big. Not a winner unless you size down 1/2 to one full size.

Son needed black shoes for his school uniform, best ones I could fine for an active child. Did the trick but the black peeled and the sole peeled from the top making them look old within a month or so.

I'm disappointed. My 2 1/2 year old son has worn these shoes for less than 2 months and they're already falling apart. I got them because he tends to have wide feet and these fit well, and because they are machine washable. But we've never washed them and still they're falling apart. I won't buy this brand again.

A hole developed by the toe on both shoes within 3 weeks of wear. Past shoes of this brand lasted my son over a year so not sure what happened to the quality of this brand.

Bought these for my son at 2.5 years old. He has a fairly wide foot and these shoes fit him well. He had a couple pairs previous to these that also worked well for him. He has been wearing 9.5 and I suspect we will have to go up another size now to 10.5 for his next shoe. The only negative is the tongue slips to the side, but it isn’t enough of a negative to not recommend or purchase again. Holds up to toddler wear and tear and looks good. Most importantly, he likes them and is comfortable in them.

5yo is on their second pair (now in a bigger size) of these shoes. They're great. Two things we love about them: this brand seems to have more room in the toes/ball of the foot, where many shoes are too tight. Another is that even when the shoes were maybe a little big (of course with little kids we try to leave room to grow) they didn't slip off or slide around even while running around like a little kid. One small thing that's not great is the way the tongue is attached to the velcro strap sometimes made it hard to get it closed up all the way, especially for a little kid to do by themselves...but then once you've got it on good, this design does keep it from sliding around. Sizing: this brand's sizes do seem to run different than others, but if you download and print the size chart for Tsukihoshi Kids specifically, that's accurate.

We bought these for my 5 year old son and they fit really well and lasted a long time. The only down side was the tongue of the shoe didn't stay down very well and my son had a hard time strapping the velcro making sure the tongue was in place. Other than that, they were a pretty good shoe for an active boy. We got the orange and blue color and he loved it.

These are the best! This is the only brand of shoes my boys will wear! They are easy to put in and take off by themselves at 3 years old. You can wash them in the washing machine and set out to dry and they don't lose a bit if shape and the quality stays the same. They wear them everyday and are still in excellent shape by the time they've outgrown them. This makes them perfect to hand down to someone who needs quality shoes when our kids can no longer wear them. We always have the next size up available to wear when their current ones become too small. The size we order is the exact size their foot is measured for, but could go up a size to make them last longer and they still don't feel too large.

This is our second pair of Tsukihoshi Speed shoes. The fit is great and being machine washable is a big plus. Another plus is the removable footbed liner which can be cleaned or aired out - no more stinky feet! He feels he can run faster because they are lightweight and very comfortable. Tsukihoshi Speed has consistently performed well even with a very active 5 year old boy. The shoes have held up well in comparison to other brands. He also chose the Navy/Lime color combo which looks fantastic.
