I love the style and they're probably the most comfortable sandals I've ever owned. The problem is, they don't last. Mine fell apart in about 4 months. The last 2 pair of Reefs I owned both lasted 2 years, and even then, I just wore tread out. They were still wearable (though they were never as comfortable). But this pair, the top and bottom is separating at 3 places on one of the sandals and it's now unwearable. Their warranty is supposed to cover damage like mine for up to a year, but their warranty page says to e-mail them with pictures of the damage. I did this, but despite many e-mails (and even trying different addresses), I can't get a response. I also posted a review on the product in their own store hoping I might get a reply there (as I see happens on some of their reviews) but my review didn't even get published. Very disappointing.

My fiance loves these sandals but the foot bed wore out after only 9 months. They then had a terrible squeak when he walked. Contacted the manufacture and they do not warranty the foot bed. We ended up throwing them away. This is the second pair that has done this. The first pair took 2 years to wear out which we thought was a little quick but he decided to try another pair. I think we will look for another brand. It's too bad because they are comfortable. Just too expensive to buy every 9 months.

I really wanted to like the Ohana sandal after having had three pairs of Rainbows in three years. I looked at pretty much every sandal on the market since I wear mine for at least half of the year. The Ohana seemed like a great choice because of the rugged outsole and immediate comfort once I put it on. I was hesitant to go for the foam sole as I was used to the full grain leather and liked the way it felt, but I couldn't justify spending the extra money for the leather version. I left with the foam version and hoped for the best. I was initially happy with them for the first week after use, though I did notice the foam retained and created a lot more heat then my previous leather sandals. Then soon after I noticed the foam dirtying and starting to smell after every use. I never had this kind of problem with my previous sandals. I've only had them for about a month and I am regretting my choice. I could see these being a decent choice if you plan to only wear them occasionally, but as for an everyday option I would not recommend them. Oh and another thing I noticed is that when walking, the front end of the sandal will catch the ground and fold under the sandal. I guess this may be a combination of me not picking up my feet enough and it being a little long in the front. I thought it may have been the sizing at first but the fit at my heel was perfect.

I would recommend wearing this around the house for a long time before deciding to keep them. I did, and the shoes started cutting into the tops of my feet where the seams are. Very painful, and I couldn't recommend them because of that.

I have been wearing Olukai slippers for a few years now, they used to be great slippers but something has changed, the footbed on the pair I just purchased began to wear out in a couple weeks, they are very comfortable but for the price I would expect them to last longer.

These flip-flops were so comfortable right out of the box, I really wanted to keep them. But I could not. Unfortunately, the right shoe strap left black marks on the top of my foot. Zappos having awesome customer service provided a second pair the next day. Once again the right shoe left black marks across top of my foot. It is very odd that only the right foot had the problem, and on two separate pairs. Both pairs are being returned, too bad. They are very comfortable. But the wearing off of black color from inside strap was annoying.

TBH, I don’t like these sandals. The style is good, the feel is good, but the overall comfort is terrible. There is no cushion and the feel is flat. Very disappointed in these sandals in terms of price and comfort, and would definitely not recommend them or purchase them again.

I can't believe it, returning shoes is an almost impossible task. After 25 minutes online I am notified that the label cannot be sent to me by email, but by regular mail.

These worked well for a few months but then started to chafe and cut my skin where the straps touch the top of my foot. They became so painful that I could not use them at all anymore. If you have narrow feet DO NOT purchase these sandals. I believe these (and maybe all Olukais?) are made for people with wider feet. The footbed is quite comfortable but these just did not work for me. I had to return them after some very painful experiences. I live in Hawaii so I wear sandals all the time, so my experience wasn't a matter of me breaking these in or getting my feet used to them. Interestingly these worked better for me in drier climates (Oregon) than they did in Hawaii, so perhaps this was a humidity issue. In any case, they did always feel a bit loose around my narrow feet, so just be aware that these run very wide.

Bought a pair of these in 2014. And for the past eight years they were the greatest flip-flops I’ve ever purchased. Sadly these pair which arrived in time for my trip to Cancun, Tulum, and Cozumel turned out to be a total disaster. They have changed the foam of the uppers and severely cut the tops of my feet during a 3 mile hike. These flip-flops pride themselves on being extremely versatile. But the quality has fallen off severely. Do not purchase these.

I wear 11.5 ordered 13 and they were small

I was really looking forward to trying them after reading so many positive reviews. However, I found them really heavy and not at all comfortable so ended up returning them.

I found these to be heavy and clunky so I returned them.

There is a high arch support in these flip flops...I have flat feet so that just causes pain! They are well made and really nice looking but I had to return because I am looking for a non-arch supporting flip flop.

The strap really cuts into the skin-can’t walk in these for more than a mile. Back to Reefs for me-really disappointing, particularly given the cost.

I am frustrated with this product line I have tried on multiple sandals the left and right shoe is the same overall length. however the right sandal has the components coming out of the sandal base in the wrong area. Every right sandal fits short because it is built differently than the left sandal. it is not my foot it is clear to see it is a manufacture problem. Frustrated. I love these sandals if I could find a pair that the both sandlas are built the same way. QC is horrible.

Hate these...like walking on a board....no cushion at all.

Returned the sandal immediately. The arch support is enormous and the heel cushion is minimal. I felt like I was standing on an inline and about to fall over. Very disappointed.

The size you order needs to be +1 or +2 than your normal shoe size, else you will feel like you are putting on kids shoes. Ridiculous at this price level. Returned and went to Kohl’s and got a pair of comfortable flip flops for $15.

The top strap over the foot feels like stiff, sharp metal. This is my fourth pair of OluKai in eight years. I love them except for this pair of “Ohana” style. After a few hours of wearing these sandals I was left with a very sore foot and a scar that took over a week to go away.

I wore Columbia (Tango Tong) sandals for many years, however, the last time I ordered them, the fit was so poor, I had to send them back for a refund. The OluKai Ohana I just purchased from Zappos reminds me a lot of the Tango Tong sandal, I guess you might say I was looking for a better fitting sandal with the same quality I use to find with the Columbia brand. The OluKai Ohana sandal has a very soft feel with great arch support. The only issue I have, the sandal is not true to size and runs a little small, about a half size too small. I gave these sandals 5 stars because I expect, in time, once they are broke in, they will meet all my expectations. If you are looking to purchase these sandals I would suggest ordering two pair, your true size and a size larger, you can always send one pair back.

Only for the occasional wearer,not worth the money. My wife and I both bought pairs last summer and both our thongs pulled out this summer. I had an all leather pair and wife had a rubber pair. For alot less money,equal comfort and longer life Rainbows last alot longer.

These were recommended by a friend and the length of the flop fit true to size. The bands that go over your feet though were loose on my feet. After a long hot day of walking around, I got a big cut on each foot from the loose bands rubbing the top of my foot. Maybe they fit others better but I am going back to rainbows.

Got sent these by mistake. Zappos let me keep them for free, cause their awesome they always get 5 stars Really disappointed with them after all the reviews and ratings I read guess I expected to much. Their not nearly as cushy as my sanuks
