supportive but quite stiff

Overall these are good quality flip flops, with comfortable toe loop design and sturdy/rugged bottom. They are pretty comfortable for short walks. However, I am used to wearing flip-flops a lot in the summer, and these lack padding to be comfortable on any walk greater than 1 mile. I used to own a pair of Oakley's, back from 2010. There were great to wear all day long. Unfortunately, they have since also changed them to be much less comfortable.

Water Friendly? Ummmm...that's a negative. Keep your feet dry and you'll be fine. I bought these because I can't seem to find my Hurleys in a size 14 any longer. They are pretty comfy, once you get used to the rather broad and long, but not too high, arch support. They seem to be pretty good for wearing around... EXCEPT if you are at a beach, on a boat, at a pool, walking in the rain or anywhere else where your feet will get wet. Hmmmmm... If your feet get wet and you pop these back on, walking in these is like walking on an a slippery wet tile floor with grease on your feet. Kind of defeats the purpose of a flip flop for me. I like the look and feel of them with dry feet, but the lack of traction between my wet, or even damp foot and the surface on these that contacts the plantar surface of my feet makes it a deal breaker for my use...and possibly an ankle breaker too. I am size 13 in every type of footwear, except flip flops. For some reason, I am a 14 in every brand of flip flop. As such, these technically run a full size small, but every other brand I have tried does as well.

Just fit a little big and loose. Look great though.

The flip flops look great and are made of nice materials. However, the arch support is excessive. It feels like I'm standing with a tennis ball under each foot. Very uncomfortable. I wish I could send them back for a refund but I've worn them outside. $75 down the drain.

The fit and size seemed about right, however, I am disappointed that there is a seam on the right shoe that pinches my foot. It's annoying.

I wanted a pair of all black sandals that were rated high for comfort. These may be a bit overhyped with the reviews. I’m ok with them but they are a bit smaller and not as comfortable as I expected. They don’t look like a premium sandal with a foam like sole and underwhelming strap. So no style points. My previous purchase was a pair of Teva’s that cost $25 less that look and feel better.

Feel fantastic the first month you have them. After month 6. I always contact OluKai and ask "Why does the arch support just give out after 6 months?" They never answer, they just send a free replacement pair instead of addressing the malfunction. They last forever, but as flat pancakes.

These fit and look great. The footbed is as hard as a slab of contoured stone, though. If I wear these for more than a few hours my feet and ankles start to hurt. A little bit of cushion would have gone a long way.

Runs very small and narrow. Compared to Skechers order at least a size up. Pretty narrow for a men’s sandal. Liked the look of all black top, bottom, sides, and foot bed. Would have kept if it wasn’t so snug in the width.

My comfort and style ratings are based on the fact that this sandal does not run anywhere close to true size, it was at least one size smaller. When the replacement comes I will modify my ratings and review accordingly, it seems like it will be a great flip flop but there is no way to tell with my heel hanging way over the back!

The straps are too tight on my feet. I owned the same pair for several years and the toe strap finally gave out. These new ones after one week the straps are still too tight. I was hoping it would loosen. Sooo bummed. These were my favorite flip flops. I’m sending them back.

These run small and have no arch. We returned for a pair of Keen's.

I am a woman’s 8 wide so I can often wear a men’s 7. I couldn’t even get my foot in these - way too tight. And I really don’t like the shape of the footbed; I feel like I am leaning back all the time. Zappos has the absolute best return policy!!

Top strap digs into foot. My cushe flip flops broke so I had to get something since they out of business. I'm going to try and get them fixed because they are way more comfortable.

Probably won't buy again. They run a size small so I'm glad I bought a 13 instead of a 12 that i normally wear. My issue is the top strap. It digs into your foot. Great flip flop for men with good arch support and style, however it won’t last because the fake leather always peels off in a matter of months.

I wanted to love these. They look good and were initially very comfortable, however, by the end of the day, I developed sore spots/blisters on the top of both feet where the strap comes together for the toe strap. Maybe my slightly wider than normal feet pulled too tightly on the strap, causing too much friction or something, but I can't even slip them back on without feeling instant pain on the top of my feet now. Glad I only wore them inside because now I have to return them.

Quality of these have really fallen. Buy them if you want sandals that last two months. Look at a different brand if you want longevity

Love the look, No cushion and therefor not very comfortable, I wish they were because they look great!

Purchase for my husband. They look great but he found them flat and uncomfortable.

Overall style and arch support is a plus but the sandal was more narrow than expected, pinching my toes together at the thong.

These sandals are very comfortable. They offer support like a pair of running shoes. My only complaint is that the leather wore through under the big toe on both sandals within 3 months. Olukai did replace them at no charge

The footbed is not good at absorbing moisture, so if you're blessed with sweaty feet you're going to be hydroplaning all day. And the tread is very good at collection small pebbles, so you'll be bringing lots of those into your house and car. Other than that they're great.
