These were really comfortable. I bought two pair in different colors. I had to give up on both pairs because the left shoe started going "squish, squish, squish". It is as if something in the heel separated and air is now going in and out. It was loud enough my coworkers commented. :(

I bought these shoes at the end of the season and barely wore them. I pulled them out on the first warm day of Spring, and the heel strap broke: it did not come unglued, but broke in two pieces. Also, they make an irritating whooshing sound when you walk as the air escapes from the insole. They were really comfortable, and fit true to size - for a minute.

I liked these at first, but the straps stretched out so much that I had to keep adding new holes. Eventually the strap just broke, leaving me stranded and shoeless. Also, these things are extremely loud and squeaky for some reason, which doesn't seem like a big deal until your entry into every room is announced by a SNEEF! narf SNEEF! narf pattern of noises.

I was very disappointed in this pair of Joanne sandals. They were narrower and shorter than a pair I bought several years ago in the same size. The ankle strap is a very lightweight leather and does not look like it is made for long wear. The shoe looks cheap. Bass can do so much better!

Well, I love these shoes. They are very cute and very comfortable - everything I'm looking for in a sandal. The problem is after wearing them for 3 months they are on the verge of falling apart. The sole has been destroyed. The heel is developing a hole. It is a real shame. I honestly don't think they are going to last me 2 seasons.

I've ordered a new pair of Bass sandals almost every year for the past 20 years, usually Margies, but a couple of years ago they changed the Margie's strap style. It was really short, and didn't come close to fitting around my size 9.5 ankles. I ordered Joanne this year, thinking maybe the strap would be longer, but no luck. The strap needs to be at least an inch longer; an inch and a half wouldn't hurt. Very disappointed with Bass, and tired of messing with returns. They've lost a loyal customer.

The sandals fit length-wise and width-wise; however, the buckle strap was not long enough to buckle. Had to return them, and I really liked the look of the sandal.

Comfortable shoe but I had to return it because the left show squeaked everytime I stepped onit.

Took them out of the package and was dazzled by how much prettier they were in real life than on the site, and although they were narrower than I expected, they were quite comfortable - but they made an embarrassing "whoosh-whoosh-whoosh" sound of air being released when I walked in them, and within a week the straps broke. It seems like I'm not the only one who had these problems either. They're comfortable and stylish, but surprisingly poor quality for Bass.

I can't seem to break these sandals in: first wear gave me such a bad blister that I couldn't look at them for 3 weeks; the footbed makes a funny air puff sound every time I take a step. There's just something abrasive and harsh about the straps, leather is thick and cut sharply. They look really cute and I wish this sandal was more comfortable.

The shoe looks good, but I found it to be quite uncomfortable (except for the soft footbed). The leather is stiff and scratchy, and the buckles are not as "friendly" as other shoes I've had. Also, I've always had a very wide foot, but this WW is a little narrower than other brands (e.g.,Trotters or Soft Spots).

I bought these two years ago, but didn't wear them too much because my legs got tired when wearing them due to lack of support. They are comfortable, just no arch support. Anyway, took a mile and a half walk in them the other day and came home and my feet were black from the straps. Then the next day, I was wearing them in the back yard, and the strap just snapped in half. They are now in the trash. There was no way to repair them. Even though they were two years old, I only wore them probably a total of 20 times or less before they busted.

The sole and foot bed of this sandal is narrow. My little toe hung completely off the side. Plus anyone ordering the WW width probably has a thicker ankle as well. The ankle strap is short.

I wrote glowing review just after receiving my new sandals, but unfortunately after less than one week of wear they broke! The back strap split where is is attached to the sole. I'm so disappointed! They definitely don't make 'em like they used to! Fortunately, Zappos customer service is fantastic - they helped me shop for a different pair and shipped them overnight! All I've got to do is toss the broken ones in a box and send 'em back off again.

I bought these knowing full well they may not work, and they didn't. They were comfortable, yes, but one step down and I knew they weren't for me -- the right shoe in particular expelled so much air from the cushioned sole that with every step I sounded like I was pumping up a bike tire. Ridiculous. The long footbed (people are not exaggerating about this) was manageable, but hissing feet are right out. Back they went.

I thought these shoes would be a great, comfortable casual pair to wear everyday. They are comfortable, but the constant whooshing air sound they make as you walk is so annoying as to make me want to send them back. I thought it would go away with wear but so far no luck.

Going back! Purchased a 6W. Not even close on the width! It fits more like a 6N. I was looking for comfort and they were, just not wide enough for me.

Most definitely NOT a wide shoe. Even though I ordered wide, in two different styles of a Bass sandal, neither was nearly wide enough.

Do not buy this shoe! I read that the strap would wear quickly, but I needed it for a vacation, so I was happy for it to get me through. The shoe broke on the first day I wore it, within the HOUR of putting it on! The first day! I was in South Africa, so I didn't bother re-packing them to return, but hopefully no one else will make that mistake. I wish it had lasted; the shoe was comfortable for the hot minute I wore it.

This shoe fit and felt great...right up until the time the strap broke. I loved them so much that I ended up just buying a second pair, and loved them as well...right up until the time the very same strap (right shoe, back inside) has nearly torn through. I'm afraid to wear it as it will probably break while I am out. I guess I could go for a third pair and hope if one of those breaks it will be a different shoe, but I now have two worthless right shoes. Guess I won't.

I really love these sandals but the back strap is too short. I can barely get the first hole closed. To add a comfortable hole I'd have to put one right at the very edge. It's so disappointing.

I was not able to tell the type of leather from the picture or the description and got the wrong type. This leather stretches so much so that you keep having to buckle them tighter and tighter until there are no more holes. Then they are too big, flop around and rub blisters.
