These sandals are very nice looking, well-priced, and comfortable -- with one caveat. They lack any arch support, which I remedied by making my own modest arch support from high heel front foot pads, trimmed to a smaller size. That did the trick. I've worn them several times already, and unlike many sandals these days, they do not rub anywhere or have any uncomfortable stitching.

I purchased this shoe in Black. As the previous reviews stated, I expected some of the dye to rub off and it did but after about the 3rd wear, it didn't happen again. I also had the swishing sound of the padding. It's noticeable in a quiet area but the comfort is worth your shoes "talking back" to you. I'm overall pleased with my purchase - the price was right, it fit my larger size and they are cute/comfy.

I have very wide feet and these fit perfectly, but I've only worn them approximately 7 times and this morning while walking into work the outside strap broke. I love these shoes so they are being replaced! Zappos.com rocks with their customer service.

Very comfortable right out of the box, no breaking in required. They do make an air swish noise when I walk, but I'm hoping that goes away with time. I like them because they remind me of sandals I wore as a little girl. So cute!

These are the shoes I think of when I think of sandals - simple, comfortable, versatile. The color is closer to red than reddish-brown, which surprised me but doesn't bother me.

These are okay looking but the forefoot isn't very wide for a supposed EE width. They made my feet look like they were bulging out between the front and rear strap. They also have no arch support, but I guess that's to be expected. It's too bad because they are a cute plain sandal that would be reasonably comfortable for walking if they fit right. They are light and small, so they would be very packable, too. The straps are just unlined leather, so they can be flattened down to the thickness of the sole.

Excellent cushion comfort on these sandals. I wear my shoes hard, so I hope the padded soles last. These are to tide me over until I can get my Birkenstocks re-soled, but I want them to be comfortable and I'm pretty picky about my sandal look (they need to be utilitarian and boring).

I have a long, narrow foot. Had to add a hole to the straps, but thrilled that the option was available. There are very limited styles available for 11AAAA and most are clunky. This looks light. Strangely, the whoosh sound is only from the left.

I have a very long and narrow foot size 10 1/2 probably AAA or narrower so I am very selective. I ordered 10 N after reading reviews. This shoe fits, but the leather stretched and I had to take it to have another hole punched in the buckle adjustment. It is not the most stylish shoe, but it works for skinny-footed me right now and looks decent with capris.

These are great knock-around sandals. They are so inexpensive, that I planned on making them gold, but the tan is surprisingly fashionable. I've walked comfortably around NYC and on gravel roads in these sandals. As others have mentioned, they do make an annoying whoosh sound when you walk, but I don't hear it when I am outside. Also, the ankle strap does not seem to size up, and quality control is lacking. Over the course of several pairs I ordered to find the right width/size, the fittings were different and the top buckle was often off-center. Eventually, I did find a great pair.

The food bed was pretty comfy and cushioned, but whistled while I walked which I found annoying. The look was what I wanted - good enough for work, but still casual. The edges of the straps were rough and I worried too much about them scratching and rubbing to keep them. But if I gave them a longer chance, that might have smoothed with wear.

These shoes are very soft and I bet I could walk around all day in them and my feet wouldn’t hurt. However, they seem a little short - I ordered my size, and my toe sticks out a little over the end. Also, when I ordered them, the shoes in the picture appeared to have silver buckles/details and when the shoes arrived the metal was gold. I much prefer silver so this was very disappointing.

Cute but run a bit short so I’m going to have to return them. I’ve been looking for some time for a pair of simple, flat sandals to replace another pair and keep coming up empty handed! I have a very narrow size 11 foot and way difficult for me to find shoes. I don’t know what I would do without Zappos! I just wish more manufacturers would make shoes in 11N!

Great sandals!! I love these. They do have a bit of a squishy sound when you walk - but they are super comfortable on my wide hard to fit feet. So much better then all the ugly white shoes they make for wide feet. No problem wearing as an everyday or business casual shoe. The adjustable straps are just what I needed for a narrow heel and a wide toe base.

This shoe runs true to size and seems to be excellent quality. I have only worn it a few times so far, but it is very comfortable, and looks a little dressier than other walking sandals. I need a fairly flat, non-contoured footbed for my flatter feet and I have found this in the Joanne. I wish it -- and more sandals! - came with velcro closing; the small buckles are a bit inconvenient. And, I wish the footbed was a darker color, not white. I saw this shoe on another multi-brand shoe website for several dollars more, and dealing with zappos is a breeze; the 2 pairs arrived in 2 days and it was so easy to return the other pair.

The adjustable straps work for my hard to fit narrow foot. The color surprisingly goes with most things. Comfortable, but not walking long distances. Service couldn\'t be better from Zappos.

These shoes are very similar to some I had in the late '70s that I wore out, two or three pairs. It's great to have them back, especially in a wide size. Price is right, too! My only complaint is that my coworkers tease me about the pfft pfft pfft sound of the air poofing out of the footbed as I walk down the hall, but it doesn't keep me from wearing them. Oh, yes, and there's not a lot of arch support, so I wouldn't want to walk on concrete all day in them, and they probably don't like to get too wet too often. But I still love 'em!

Very comfortable from the beginning. My only issue is the black dye from the leather leaches onto my skin when it becomes damp from sweat, rain or humidity. It washes off easily, but makes my feet look dirty or bruised until I wash it off.

I bought these sandals in EVERY color because they are the only sandals that fit my 3 EEE feet. now these are EE but because of the buckel fit they do fit me. Here\'s the down side. The color on the leather rubs off on your feet. The bottoms do make an air noise but they are confortable. When walking a distance there is a a weird rubbing on the outside ball of the foot so be sure to adjust the buckel appropriately. or it will rub and your foot will hurt and almost feel like its burning when walking a great distance. \r\n\r\nAll those thing said i would recommend it and would buy more colors because they are very attractive and my other options are sandals looking like they built for a very elderly and impared woman.

If you have a EEE foot the best line is soft style the EE feels EEE and is reasonably fashionable.

Pretty red sandals -
I bought these in the red, which is a very nice color, a little darker than the cherry red they appear to be on screen. I have ridiculously narrow feet, finding sandals that fit and aren't completely ugly is a nightmare. I wear 9-10; I got these in 9 1/2 narrow. The size is perfect and the width is far better than usual. The leather is a little stiff but it feels as though it will break and mold to the shape of my foot. Overall I am very happy, and you can't beat the price.
