These are exactly as pictured. I'm a size 9.5 and got the 40s. There's a little more room in there than I'd ideally like, but with winter socks, they seem good. I walked around NYC for the better part of the day in them; the support was okay, but not fabulous. My feet were fairly sore at the end. They are probably better suited for lesser expeditions.

A great boot; looks just like the picture. It fits great and is definitely good quality (walked straight through puddles - and nothing). The only thing is - my calves aren't wide and I wish the width was a bit narrower, to give it a bit more of a fitted look. But still, I'm happy I got them.

I really wanted to like this boot. I'm 5'1", 95 lbs and on the slim side, so after reading the reviews of how big the boot is, I was a bit wary of being able to order the right size. Normally I wear 35.5 in European sizes, which is typically size 5 1/2 US. The size conversions threw me a bit (US 5 is 36 European), but I opted to size down because of the reviews. I tried both sizes 35 and 36 (US 4 and 5). Size 35 fit me perfectly in the calf, with enough room to tuck in a pair of jeans, but the foot was too small in length. Size 36 had the right foot length, but the ankle was huge and the calf was awkwardly too large. They look great and the inner lining is nice and soft, but unfortunately for me, I had sizing issues.

I love these boots. They are so cute and so comfortable. Just enough cushy fleece lining for the cold, but not so much that I wouldn't wear it in the spring and summer for those super rainy days. I would warn though, I usually wear a 5-5 1/2, and based on the recommendations in the sizing chart, it said to order the size 5 Euro, size 36. I think this is totally off because when I go to other Euro sizing I usually order the size 35. I went ahead and ordered the size 4 Euro, size 35 and it was spot on. These are the first pair of boots that are not humongous on me, as most rain boots start at the size 6. I think I will buy Tretorn from now on!

They are durable boots and very waterproof. I got them to get me through winter snowy, rainy weather and they have always kept my feet dry. They look exactly as pictured. If you want a more fashionable boot, this one is not for you. But if you are looking for function, this boot is great. It was most definitely a size larger than marked. I had to ship it back to get a smaller size.

Well made sturdy boots. They're really too big for me, very roomy (I wear a 9 1/2 or 10 narrow) so I put in a liner (with a little arch support) and then wear two pairs of heavy socks. Since I bought them for winter and snow they worked out well. Leg is very wide (too wide for me) so probably would accommodate a wide calf (I just stuff my pant legs inside). I could do without the logo on the front, otherwise a nice looking basic wellington type boot.

These are as cute as they look! The fit is just fine as I had low expectations for rain/work boots at this price. And anyway, with warm socks on, you need a little more room on the boot.

Pretty cool rubber boots if I might say. A bit pricey for rubber boots, but I like them. I guess that's what matters for me. Also, I have pretty big calves considering my tall slim body, 5'7", 145lbs.

I purchased these to replace my Tretorn short rain boots. They are nice and seem durable but are huge in the calf for someone my size. (My calves are about 12.5-13 inches). I'm also only 5' tall so when I walk up stairs the tops hit the back of my knees which can be uncomfortable. The foot seems to be true to size with a little extra room for thick socks. For short/petite people this boot is a little big but very cute so I'll hang on to it.

These are great rain boots. I ordered the 39 originally (which Zappos says is a size 8), but they were too big, so I ordered the next size down, which fit perfectly. I had originally wanted Hunter's, but my calf is too big for the leg opening. These were perfect and actually still allow me to tuck jeans in. They are quite comfortable, too, and seem quite durable. Hopefully, with some warmer socks, they'll get me through the messy NYC winters! I've only worn them a few times, though, so time will tell!

I ordered these and a similar pair of Hunters but I ended up sticking with the Tretorns because they have a real adjustable width. So depending on what I am wearing I can adjust them. Sometimes "adjustable" widths really only move a millimeter or so but these actually open or close back up and have and there are 4 notches on the buckle.

I hesitated before purchasing these rain boots, based on some reviews about the ankle and calf width. I am usually a size 8 and have a slightly larger calf. I got these in a 7 and they were still too big. The ankle part is really wide, which makes your feet slip all over the boot as you walk. I was able to tuck my jeans in with no problem. There is an adjustable strap that allows you to somewhat adjust the calf width. I walked around the house for about 10 minutes and realized that these are not for me. If it wasn't for the fact that the boots squeezed my calves at the widest point, my feet would have fallen out of these boots after a few steps. I measured the ankle width and the calf width and these rain boots are actually the widest at the ankle! I could see them working for someone with super skinny calves.

Let me start off by saying that I have big calfs (16 in). So when this said wide calf, I thought they would be great. When I got them and put them on, they were snugged on my calfs with my skinny jeans on. Luckily it has the side belt to make it a little bit comfortable for me. When I walk, the boots kind of bunch up by the ankle. I went ahead and kept them and got to wear them last week. They kept my toes warm and dry. So that is good. They are a bit heavy but they are comfortable when I walk across campus.

They look nice and I appreciate the price and adjustable feature but had to return them. Very heavy and awkward fitting. Not comfortable at all. Got Hunter instead. Pricey but worth it.

Didn't fit my giant calves. I wear a leather boot in a 17 or 18 circumference. This didn't even come close to fitting. Zappos, PLEASE start carrying the Jileon boots!

I like that they are warm and comfortable but they do run very big and very wide especially in the ankle area. I am not happy that the color has faded on my pink rain boots. They actually look white now. Not a happy camper.

A bit disappointed. Purchased a pair and loved them until they split apart, on the left side of the right boot. Returned boots and received another pair and this pair split in the exact same place and the left boot separated as well. I did not wear the boots that often as we did not have a lot of rain; however, for 2 pairs of boots to split in the exact same place can not possibly be my fault. When I sent the first pair back, I was told by the customer service rep that they would exchange the boots this time, but that it is not a policy that they practice and I thought to myself, that makes sense, because this pair is defective, but apparently, I received the other defective pair as well.

These boots are super cute but I wouldn't recommend them if you have thin calves. They are so wide on me that they're impractical.

I loved these rainboots especially since my calves couldn't fit into the Hunters boots. However, you've heard right "loved", I've had them for under a year and it has a crack on both boots. I was fed up with department store brands since they didn't last long and I guess the same could be said for these boots. I'm disappointed. I was hoping that these boots would be a good investment.

Good quality but much heavier than other shoes of similar style that I've tried.

I like these boots, but found that after a few weeks they developed a gray sheen that I cannot scrub off. My boots are not longer black.

I normally wear a size 12 in womens, so I was taking a chance in ordering the 11. I was pleased to find that I had ample room, even when wearing a thicker sock on colder days. The shaft of the boot is wide enough to fit my apparently larger-than-normal calves, but still buckles a bit because the top of the boot hits me about mid-calf. All in all, a great rain boot for the price.

I'm usually a size 8 , but I decided to get these in an 8 and they still fit big. I'm short (5' 2" ) and I have big calves and although they fit my calves, they do not fit my leg well. The circumference of the ankle area is just too wide and it makes me look like I have cankles. On top of that, the boot is too big. I would consider sizing down, but I'm afraid the calf area will be too small.

These are cute looking and nice quality but too heavy. I feel like I'm walking with a ball and chain on my feet. Also, too big. Going back to Zappos. Sorry!
