I received my boots yesterday and already I love them! They do take some breaking in though...I have very narrow feel and skinny toes and they are rubbing pretty badly today. I'm hoping the ankles and toe area will stretch a bit after wearing them a few days. Received tons of compliments already, they are the perfect boot with a skinny jean!

These boots are great. I loved walking out in the rain and snow and watching the water bead up and roll off...the color of the leather never even changed. They are comfy and warm, and super duper cute. I ordered black and brown, but decided I had more need for the brown, so I sent the black back (with a little tear in my eye) and as always, Zappos made it all so easy. Thanks again!

I purchased this boot prior to a winter trip to Istanbul and Cappadocia. Easy on and off when touring mosques! In Cappadocia we had snow and ice - the boot performed beautifully. I took a 5k hike through snow and mud and my feet were dry and warm. I also needed arch support, which it provided moderately. I am an avid tennis player with generous calves and the fit was great. Overall, an amazing boot!

Cute boots but am returning because I would like a taller shaft. Love Zappos!

This was the easiest shopping experience I have ever had from the comfort of my home! I have finicky feet and one is a half size bigger than the other, so I chose the sz 8. I usually take a 7 or 7.5. They arrived super quick and were everything I had hoped they would be. They are so comfortable but I felt they were a bit roomy with regular socks. They felt fine with thick socks. I ordered a 7.5 to make sure but I couldn't even get my foot into it so I guess I am keeping the sz 8! I am very happy though and they are very comfortable, even with my feet. They have kept me dry too but it isn't that cold here at the moment so they haven't been tested sub-zero.

I absolutely love these boots, they run true to size and are extremely comfortable. The back has the military style which I adore so very much, and I have received admiring glances whenever I wear them.

Even cuter on than in the picture. I love the height - not all the way to the knee, but not short either - sort of half way up. Feel comfortable and fit perfectly! Can't wait to wear them - just snowed 6 inches and going to put them on and go outside now.

These are the most expensive shoes I ever bought, but they are worth it. Instead of buying a pair of rain boots, a pair of walking boots and a pair of stylish boots, you can just get these and have all 3 in 1. I live in Philly and walk everywhere, so comfort is very important to me. I wore these boots on a 2 hour hike and they were perfect! I have also tried them in slushy snow and my feet were completely dry. I have normal to wide feet and these fit great. I would definitely recommend. They do get scuffed easily, though, if that bothers you.

I love these boots! I've had them for a few months now, and they have quickly become my go to boot for the rainy winters here in Belgium. They are super comfortable and I can wear them all day. I wish the calf was a little wider so that I could tuck my jeans in, but overall I am very happy with these boots!

I live in lovely, rainy Portland, and these boots have been the best purchase I have ever made when it comes to my feet!! I wear these more than any other shoe during the rainy months (most of the year) and my feet stay perfectly dry. Very comfy; I broke these in on a trip to NYC while walking all over the city for three days. Not even the slightest hint of a blister, and I got plenty of compliments! A staple item for any wet-weather wardrobe, and versatile enough that I can wear them with anything, from jeans to dresses!

Wore them in NY during the blizzard and my feet stayed dry! The soft smooth leather "scuffs" easily. I had to just get over trying to keep them pristine. The boots have a well-worn look. Always get compliments on them.

I love these boots. I can wear them all day either inside at work or out and about running errands. However, I would not wear them in blizzard conditions. I wear a 7 and found that a 7 fit me nicely. They are a little tight around the ankles, but comfortable from day one.

These are sharp-looking boots with enough room in the calf to wear over a skinny pair of jeans. My only dislike is that the finish scuffs easily, but not so badly as to be distracting (it just gives the boots a slightly 'worn' look). They are also a bit tight to pull on over my foot, but I have a very high instep.

Love these shoes! Have worn them nearly every day since purchasing. Good for rainy Pacific Northwest. Comfortable for walking and enough room to accommodate my custom orthotics. Cute with slacks, jeans and skirts. Thinking about getting in brown.

Finally I've found MY boots! I've bought and returned three times and had about given up. On Christmas Day I wore my daughter's two year old pair - and knew then why she loved them, and why five other people had bought them because of her recommendation! They are comfortable from the first time I put them on and my feet are happy inside...not squished toes or floppy heels. Supportive, sturdy, stylish and timeless. Buy these, your feet will be happy too. Also, I ordered these before my return had arrived at Zappos. They sent them out in less that 24 hours and credited my account + gave me a coupon!! This is a great company.

I needed boots that would stand up to the snow and cold of North Dakota winters, but did not like typical snow boots. These fit the bill. At first, I ordered the brown color, but my husband commented that they looked too Western. I disagreed, but did swap them for the black pair, and I am really happy with the more urban, edgy look of the black Tetra Launches. They feel great; I can tuck jeans in or leave them out, and they are awesome for walking through 5" of snow, and keeping my feet warm and totally dry.

Love, love, love! These boots. They are incredibly warm even without socks. They look great and are the most comfortable boots I've ever owned.

These are my new favorite boots! I ordered them in the cherry brown and love the color. They are pretty exact to the picture. I wear them with everything. I recently wore them to a ranch/vineyard and were perfect. A must have boot! My only complaint is my feet hurt after wearing them for 12 hours, after all, they are a flat boot.

I love these boots! They are super comfortable. I bought them for a trip to Paris over the holidays, and needed something waterproof, cute and comfortable for walking long distances. These completely fit the bill.

For ages I've been looking for a boot that will hold up to a bit of tromping around in New England winters, but that I can also wear to work all day without feeling like I'm wearing snow boots. This boot is perfect so far! Haven't had any true snow yet to test, but I think I've worn them every day since I got them a week ago - through some pretty cold days and very rainy ones, and my feet have been toasty (but not too toasty) and completely comfortable for at least 12-14 hours a day. The thin Polartec lining seems to be just the right weight to keep me warm and yet not overheated once I'm inside all day. I usually wear anywhere from a 9 to a 10 depending on how the brand runs, and I ordered a 9.5 - I usually wear light or medium-weight socks and the sizing is perfect for that. If you wanted to wear heavier socks I'd order a half size up - the ankle is nice and snug, but it might be too snug with really heavy winter socks. All in all, I couldn't be happier so far with this boot - it's the perfect medium for winter and will be great in the spring and fall too. I can wear them with jeans, dress pants, and also with tights/skirts so it's truly an every day, every occasion boot. Also, the sole seems really good so far - it's sort of sticky so I haven't slipped around and the tread is enough to help with traction but isn't so chunky that it's visible when you're a little more dressed up. Oh! And there was zero breaking in time - no rubbing on my calves at the edges, no blistered toes, nothing. I think I might actually be looking forward to winter now that I have these...And thanks to all the other people who wrote reviews for these boots - your reviews really helped me decide what to buy and what size to order - Zappos and Zappos customers are the best!

I received my boots and they are great!

Love the style of these boots, but I couldn't even get them on my feet! Very disappointed in Merrell, because I've been ordering their shoes/boots for years. I wear a 5.5 and I'm a very petite person, so I'm not sure why I couldn't get these on! Unfortunately, I will be sending them back.

I got these boots last weekend and love them. They feel very secure and safe, although they were quite slippery on a wet concrete basement floor (don't ask). I did have to add arch support via Superfeet inserts, but other than that I'm really liking them so far.
