I love these boots so much I bought them in both colors! Super comfortable to walk in and cute to boot! Pun intended.

I normally find merrells shoes to fit a little tightly. These boot was more true to size than they normally are. They are also less supportive than my other merrells. Still comfy, though. I have wide calves, about 17 inches, and in a size 10 the calves were tight but doable. I love the way these boots look and I've gotten a lot of compliments on them. The waterproofing seems to be very effective.

These boots are awesome. The first day I wore them, I wound up hiking all over Italy - I figure I probably walked about 11 miles that afternoon. I think these are the first shoes I've ever worn where after a full day of walking, my feet barely hurt. Also, these are the best rain boots ever. While in Rome, it was raining every day, and - unlike my friends - my feet were still dry, even after stepping in a 4 inch deep puddle! Best of all - they're really cute!

These boots are great. Very comfy and easy to get off and on. I had a really hard committing to them though. I ordered them and didn't wear them out for 2 weeks. I just kept thinking I'd find something better for cheaper at my local stores but nothing could compare with the look, feel and quality of the Merrells. My only complaint is that they are snug on my calf and I have seriously scrawny legs so I'm not sure what people with bigger calves would think. Otherwise they're super!

These are amazing. First of all, they are feminine and sexy. Second of all, they fit perfectly and are really comfortable. I love them so much that I have been wearing them around the house in my pajamas. I can't seem to want to take them off. They are so perfect!

I have been wearing these boots near daily since getting them a month ago. They are soooo comfortable and really great looking. I sized up 1/2 size as others suggested. They are perfect with medium and heavier weight socks. Waterproof and warm, they are great for a Salt Lake City winter, although I'll be wearing these well into Spring. Awesome with both jeans and skirts!

The best! Cute, comfortable and waterproof. Have walked hours on these boots and they've held up so well and my feet have felt just fine.

Wanted a waterproof, leather boot that I could primarily wear out in the rain or snow without the bulk. This boot fits the build perfectly. If you are looking for warm boot, do not by these! They are not lined. They are pretty much true to size as I wear a 7.5, but I will tell you that it is tight to put your heel down into the boot. So for that reason if you are planning to wear thicker socks, order one size up. I thought they would have a little dressier look, as the back of the boot is very cute. The front of the boot looks a bit clunky. All in all, I love them because I can literally wear them for 3 seasons during in-climate weather. No more plastic rain boots for me!

I was very pleased with the style and quality of this boot. It's even better looking in person than it is in the picture. So far, it seems warm and waterproof by cute leather boot standards. I usually wear a 6.5 but I wish I'd ordered a 7 because a) it runs small, b) the sole is very stiff, which makes it tough to break in over time.

The most amazing boots ever. I won't write a long review because I would just be repeating what everyone else has said, but I do want to address a couple things: 1. I recommend ordering your size. When I first received them, they were a bit narrow. I was concerned about it, but they stretched and are now just perfect. The leather is really great quality and will conform to your foot. 2. The leather does scratch easily. At first, I was disappointed but I decided to just not worry about it and I love how they look now. Nice and worn in, but not ugly or like you need a new pair of boots. 3. The calf circumference is on the smaller size, but not tiny. Because they're not a super tall boot, you might be able to get away with these if you have bigger calves. 4. The sticky rubber on the bottoms is awesome. I have so much traction on ice. I am really impressed with it. 5. I get so many compliments.

I love this shoe. It keeps the rain out, has great traction, and is versatile. The leather scuffs easily so don't expect to keep it scratch-free. I would definitely recommend these shoes. Getting it a half size bigger is a good idea especially if you're going to wear thick socks or leggings. Also, I have thick calves from running and these were the only shoes I could find that fit me comfortably. Zappos is great, not only is shipping free, but they sent my boots via next day delivery when I only requested standard. Im a happy customer :)

Very comfortable and more stylish than my old black boots. I walk all over the city in them and my feet feel totally fine at the end of the day.

Love these boots - snug in the calf but they seem to be stretching a bit. Not super warm for a winter boot but waterproof. The snaps are super cute.

I have a high instep, so initially I could barely get my foot into this shoe. With some skinny socks, I worked my foot in eventually, and now the boot has enough ease to get my foot in and out of it. I love the look of these boots. One issue is that they scuff pretty easily. It's okay though because it adds to the rugged look and feel. I recommend them!

I bought these boots for my trip to Ireland, which as most know this time of year is wet and rainy every day. I was looking for something that was totally waterproof, comfortable and stylish enough I could wear for dress-up and dress-down occasions. These were absolutely perfect! I wore them almost the entire trip, all day long and I was totally comfortable. My skinny jeans fit in them no problem too as they have a little elastic triangle built into the top edge of the boot which allows for some give. I would recommend these to anyone, they are the best all-purpose boot I've bought in a very long time.

Love these boots. Though they're a little bigger on the calf than I'd like, the height (around mid-calf for me) makes their roominess okay. Plus, they leave plenty of room for tucking in pants, etc., in winter. Mostly, though, the buckles give them a kicky look, much more interesting than your standard waterproof boot. So comfortable, too.

I am a hiker but I also like to have stylish shoes. Thus, I was looking for a pair of leather boots that are comfortable enough to walk in all day and also look good. These boots are extremely comfortable. I have had them for about a month, worn them every other day, and hiked or walked about 60 miles in them. The heel is low enough that there is no discomfort from it. The sole is molded and is flexible, but also has good support. I tried on 7 different calf-height boots and these won out by being both comfortable and stylish. The leather is a beautiful, warm cinnamon color. It is now scratched from use, but I believe that it will clean up nicely. The upper boot is wide enough to wear with leggings or jeans tucked in, but also goes under jeans without bulk.

I love these boots! I have extremely flat feet, and so it is hard for me to find boots with sufficient support. But these are great! The first day I wore them I walked for a couple of miles in San Francisco, and they felt wonderful. I haven't tested them in the rain yet, but have been very happy so far with their appearance, fit and support.

These boots are fabulous! I was wearing them today when I got a flat tire on a cold and rainy November day in NYC. By the time the tire was changed I was soaked except from my calves down which were warm and bone dry. I have also worn them walking around the city and they are super comfortable.

Uh-mazing. I am a 4-inch shoe type of girl, but needed flat boots for daily. These are sturdy, stylish (esp. with the buttons and ties in the back with military being in now) and classic--they will last and be in style forever. Oh-so-comfy.

I needed something warm, waterproof, and comfortable for a two-week trip to Germany, and these boots were perfect! Not quite as sticky-soled as I usually expect from Merrell (slippery on wet cobblestones and parking garage floors), but they did the job well. And they look great, too! The calf was a little tight when I first put them on, but feels like it's custom fit now. I agree with other reviewers about them being easily scuffed, but a good buffing brings them back to their original buttery warmth. They are also a little roomy in the toebox, but with a thicker sock they're fine.

I'm so glad I invested in these fantastic boots! I've worn them nearly every day since they arrived. They're extremely comfortable, with plenty of support. They were a little stiff at first, but broke in quickly. Within a day, I felt like I could wear them for a full day of walking/sightseeing. They offer all the waterproof functionality of a rainboot, but in a classic style with a little bit of an urban edge. They look great with jeans or cords, and cute with tights and a dress. They're lined with Polartec, so they're warm, too. I typically wear a size 9, occasionally a 9 1/2, and I have an athletic calf. These boots fit perfectly in a 9 due to the roomy toe compartment. Even with thick socks, the 9 is perfect.

Love these boots. They are super comfortable, and super cute. They scuff a little easy, but it just adds to their character. Plus, just a little polish and they are as good as new again!
