I would purchase again - I usually wear an 8 1/2, so I went with an 8. It was the right decision because they are a little wide; a nine would have fallen off. Great quality and cute for a "practical" sandal.

Merrell Agave - Shoe is a bit wide for a thin foot, but has very good cushion for walking. The opening on the side of the shoe is great for "bunion" on the outside of the foot.

I love Merrell's and I like the style a lot, but it runs too wide through the toe portion of the shoe and isn't adjustable there.

This shoe is cute but it needs to be offered in a wide width. Otherwise you have to wait for it to squeeze your foot blue till the leather stretches so that it is comfortable to wear. Support is light, can't walk in them all day. I wished Merrell would offer all of their shoes in half sizes. I would also like to see this sandal in white since it is a sandal, also a tan.

I read all the reviews for this shoe and was sure this would be a great shoe for a vacation with lots of walking. By the end of a full day of walking while on vacation, this shoe hurt my feet. I don't have bunions, but the shoe was not wide enough for me and dug into my foot on the side by my big toe where the solid leather square is on this shoe. The arch was also so high that my arches hurt by the end of the day. I do have a very wide foot and bought this shoe 1 size larger hoping it would work. It was a good thing I bought one size larger because my regular size would not have fit. This shoe runs small. From other reviews that I read, reviewers stated that the shoe was wide. It is not wide enough for a D/E width foot. This shoe did not meet my expectations for all day walking comfort. It will be okay only if I wear it for a limited amount of walking. I am so disappointed as I really need a good walking shoe/sandal and I can't seem to find one that is comfortable and supportive all day long. This manufacturer is not good for a person with a D/E width foot. I have a great deal of trouble trying to find comfortable shoes. I buy so many shoes with the hope they will be comfortable and then I am stuck with shoes that after wearing for a full day turn out to be uncomfortable. Not only is it expensive because after you wear the shoes you can't return them and the only way to truly know if a shoe is going to meet the comfort test is to wear them all day. I would not recommend this shoe for anyone who has a wide foot.

The toe opening is too wide. I wear a medium width, and my foot slid through. If the opening were less loose/wide or had an adjustable strap, these would have been perfect. And it's so hard to find shoes in navy (or grey).

These are so cute and comfortable, but there is not enough support for people with flat feet! They definitely run large and I wear an 8½, and ordered an 8 which are exactly the right length, but way too big in the straps.

Better shoes out there... While these shoes look great - they aren't comfortable. The problem I have with them is that the outside edge of the part your foot rests on seems to rise up, not on the outside edge of your foot, but half an inch too far in so you are stepping down on a ridge. Not pleasant. I'd recommend the Josef Seibel Adrianna shoe instead.

I bought a pair of these sandals last month from the new Merrell store in Castle Towers. I am extremely disappointed! The sole, while feeling soft and being comfortably supportive, is hot to wear and induces sweating and foot odor! I have never had a problem with foot odor in my life and can produce sandals and shoes that are a few years old without even a 'whiff' of odor. I am also disappointed that the leather has stretched much more than I would have expected. I do take particular care when buying shoes and look for quality and comfort but I will not buy this brand again and the advertising is misleading. Considering the price of these (I paid a lot). I do feel I have been 'ripped off'. The shoes have now been relegated to 'yard only' wear. Disappointing!

Absolutely love them! Not only do they feel like a gloved hand evelopinng my foot, walking on them is like being in a great running shoe! And they look a lot better!!!

I've been wearing these almost every day since they arrived. Very comfortable and they give my feet plenty of support.

No need to break these in! Wore them for a week on a trip that involved a lot of walking. Very comfortable the whole time.

My wife loves these shoes since I bought them for her. She needs a good shoe for walking with her back and these do the trick. This should do her good when we go to Italy where we will do a lot of walking.

These sandals are very comfortable. I have trouble finding comfortable sandals because I'm prone to getting plantar fasciitis and need arch support. The sandals were comfortable from the start and I didn't have to "break them in." I'm very happy with these sandals!

Love these sandals! I wanted navy, and this is what came up in my search. They are very comfortable, true to size. I've had other Merrell products - sandals, hiking boots and walking shoes - all have become favorites in my closet.

I love Merrell sandals! Even with my high instep these fit great and are so comfortable that I wore them all day the first day I had them. They fit true to size and the quality is - well Merrell.

Cute and comfortable, but runs big. Should have ordered a half size down like others did. I'm going to exchange for a different size because I really like them!

I actually bought these so I can wear these around the house exclusively as I do not like to go barefoot at home and I have to have comfortable shoes. I typically wear a size 8½ but these shoes are not available in half sizes. I had to return size 8 as they were too small and my toes were beyond the shoes. Zappos sent me a size 9 in two days with standard shipping, (talk about prompt delivery!) and they fit a lot better. They are slightly wide but super comfortable. These are amazing shoe. I love the design, too.

The best - I have pairs in black and brown and also just ordered a pair in each of those colors for when the present ones wear out - I'm afraid Merrell will stop making them! I wear a definite B width, anyone with an A width would probably not like them.

These sandals are very comfortable and have good support. A few days after I bought them I wore them to a street fair. I walked around all day, about 8 or 9 hours, and my feet didn't hurt. I then wore them for the next 3 weeks on vacation and they were great. The next year I bought another pair in another color. I would highly recommend these shoes.
