I love this style and I also really need the narrow, not as clunky and fit perfect

Buy these in every color! I have been wearing Birkenstock sandals for years and the Gizeh style is the most comfortable and stylish. I have them in three colors, and always get compliments when I wear my burgundy or silver pairs. They are very feminine, but have the traditional Birkenstock comfort!

The best - These shoes are the best. Best quality, best comfort and Zappos gets them to you fast.

Kissing my feet! I love these shoes and everything about them. They are comfortable (of course, they're Birkenstocks), they are stylish, and I love the Patent Birko-Flor dressy/casual when necessary. This is my second pair in this style!

Best shoe I've ever owned - This shoe is fabulous. It is by far the most comfortable shoe I've owned, and you can wear it with anything! Jeans, sundresses, dress it up or down. The bronze is very muted, so it's not obnoxious, just interesting and stylish. I LOVE this shoe!! I have wider feet, so my toes hang over the edge of most sandals, but not these. I wore this shoe on a two week trip in Germany walking EVERYwhere and my feet felt fabulous! It only took a week or two to break in, at first the part between the toes was a bit tight, but it loosened up quickly, now I wear these shoes constantly. Highly recommended, worth more than the price!

KUDOS - This style is my second favorite of Birkenstocks. My orthopedic physician suggested I start wearing Birk's over 15 years ago. Now, it's difficult for me to find a more comfortable shoe than Birks. I'm spoiled, especially when I have to play "dress-up" and wear "people" shoes.

L-U-V!!! I have never owned a pair of Birk's and now I am a convert! So comfortable and so stylin' (I bought the silver metallic thong sandals). I am buying Birk's for my friends for birthday gifts because I know they will love them as much as I do.

The best thing about these shoes is they are not like a flip flop. They stay on your foot with each step without moving. Although they take a little bit of time to break in, they fit like a dream! (They also last forever!) I have always received compliments on these shoes, especially the funky patterned ones.

Great - These shoes are super comfortable but I recommend maybe going one size smaller than usual. I normally wear an 8 or 8.5 and in EU sizes I’ve worn up to a 41 but a 39 was WAY too big. Also the pink wash ones...are not really pink. Almost a peachy color so I was a bit disappointed with that, but otherwise, these are great.

Very Cute...But Need Some Breaking In - I really like the looks of the Birkenstock Gizeh. I bought them in Silver and they are really adorable. The fit is also good. The thong, however, is not very comfortable and will take some breaking in. They especially hurt going down stairs!

Blisters - In an ideal world new shoes would never give you blisters. Alas, utopia doesn't exist. But the blisters have healed and my Gizeh's have been 'broken in'. They're comfortable and very cute. A good purchase if they prove to be durable. I've only had them a month.

SATISFIED NEW CUSTOMER - This is my first pair of Birks. I've been wanting some FOREVER! I just got them today and am totally in love. The comfort level didn't fit up to the hype, but they still didn't lose any points with me. I got the metallic silver and will definitely be buying other colors. Love at first sight and fit with my Birks. I am a college student and will definitely be seen flaunting my Birks all around campus. I would recommend them to anyone.

Gizeh thong - Shoe Maven Review #3 - By far my fave shoe! All summer long I turned to my Gizeh's. Dressed up with short or long skirts, or with slacks, and of course jeans. If you are a thong wearer, there is almost no break in time - but if not proceed with caution, the skin between your toes is more delicate than you can imagine. After break in - these shoes will feel like an extension of your foot. My only complaint is that I felt the sole wore down a bit too quickly, I got one full summer out of them, I will probably have to have them resoled next summer. But I did wear them almost everyday, and I love in NY so walking is the mode of travel for most. The strap is adjustable and the footbed will soften and mold to your foot quickly. Use the chart to find your size. Only the Boston seemed bigger that marked. I will be ordering these in more colours and having my original pair resoled soon. -SM

Love Birkenstocks! I love Birkenstocks, and these provide the same support and comfort when standing and walking that my old pair did, with the exception of the thong. Sometimes, when walking up or down stairs or an incline, I REALLY feel that and it makes my toes sore sometimes. I still consider them in the break in period, though so this may go away- I hope so!

Front strap - The look of the front strap is large and on a smaller foot looks plain.

Pretty Good Sandal - The Gizeh sandal is pretty good, although it takes a little while to break into them. I had them for about two weeks and then my husband and I went to Las Vegas---after a day of walking around on the Strip, my soles were killing me and I got some really bad blisters--this surprised me from a Birkenstock. Also, the cloth that extends beyond the big toe takes a while to get used to, but now it is fine. I would definitely order Birks again, but maybe break them in before doing heavy walking!

Birkenstock Gizeh Review - Good shoe. It adds an interesting twist to pencil skirts or cropped jeans. People often make some positive remark about it. Its comfort is Birkenstock comfort- where for some it will be great and for others it will be horrible. They fit me pretty well so I like them.

A Little Disappointed - I love the look of the shoe. I've worn for about 3 weeks. I tried to shop in them. Big mistake!! They still are not very comfortable. I can tolerate the hardness of the footbed, but the toe piece is very hard and really hurts for walking a lot. I really like the look, so I will continue to wear when comfort is not an issue, for fashions sake. I have a narrow foot, so this style (without straps) works well for me. I got the narrow, but as stated by Birkenstock, was a medium width. In the stores all I could find was Medium which of course is a wide width, as stated by Birkenstock.

Love the look, more feminine Birkenstock appearance; however, I found the thong strap to be particularly hard and uncomfortable.

The Thong - I own over 75 pairs of Birkenstock sandals and clogs and love them dearly. I have flat feet and the Birks are the only sandal I wear. I asked my Podiatrist about wearing Birkenstocks and he said that he wears them!! I purchased my first pair of thong Birkenstocks and they looked so cute. I did however get blisters from the thong between my toes. So, I would not recommend these to anyone who is not used to thongs between their toes…
