Love it! I am having serious foot problems (Plantar Fascia) and Birkenstocks are one of the few shoes that I can presently wear with comfort! The Black Patent Gizeh is great and looks good with skirts for my working environment, yet is so comfortable to wear all day.

Great comfort - Very durable-I soaked it in water and wet sand last year and it is still intact! Looks great; easy to wear, just slip it on; most of all, it's therapeutic for my achy feet. What great service from Zappos, I received it the next day!

Love these shoes!! I love Birkenstocks!! I have a pair of this style that I have worn for almost 10 years. I noticed that many people commented on the toe piece. I remember that when I first got mine that the toe piece really bothered me. But, I finally figured out that I was walking in them incorrectly. Once I got my form correct they are super comfy. Wearing Birkenstocks also corrected my rolling the foot to the side. I teach and wear them all day on concrete with no problems. Great support and look great with everything. Ready for my next pair!

The Perfect Smart Casual Sandal - My husband bought the Gizeh in silver for me and I have had them about a month now. They are a terrific stylish, yet comfortable sandal. I am a bit lazy and I like a shoe that I can just slip on and head out the door with. I had started to fall into the bad habit of schlepping out in my hideous Crocs because they were quick to put on and comfortable. I am happy to say that the Gizeh’s serve the same function & comfort level while looking nice as well. I have received compliments from strangers about these sandals. The only thing I would mention to those considering purchasing these, is that if your second toe is longer than your big toe (like mine), the toe strap ends up covering part of your big toe and it looks a bit odd. Also, thong sandals sometimes really hurt, but I broke these in by wearing them around the house for a few hours a day for about 2 weeks. These sandals provide wonderful arch support and I have spent the day downtown walking for 7 hours in them with no discomfort whatsoever.

Great sandals. I've had them for only a week, but I'm already loving them. They are a little stiff at first, which makes it a bit awkward for you to walk, but it took me only half a day until I wasn't thinking about the sandals while I walked. These are my second pair of Birkenstocks. I normally wear size 5, but this style wasn't available in size 36, and I am on a smaller side of size 5 anyway, so I took a chance and ordered 35. They were perfectly sized. My feet are a bit narrow, and I adjusted the buckle to make them even narrower.

Gizeh - The color is great. Same Birkenstock footbed that fans like. Very comfortable but with updating for the colorway.

Anonymous - I bought a pair of Birks like this when I went to Germany last summer, and I can't take them off they are so comfy. Also they are really pretty and feminine, especially the ones with printed designs. A must have for summer.

I love this shoe. I bought a purple pair when I lived in Germany 15 years ago and they finally died--so I replaced them with a new black pair. FYI: the 41 in this style is more narrow, and therefore more suited to my foot than the same size of some of the other styles, like Arizona, which tend to be more wide. And, yes, you eventually get used to the stiff thing-y between your toes. Initial blisters are worth it for the great support the shoe provides.

Around the world shoes - I love these shoes...wish I could wear them with socks as its getting cold in Kansas...I bought my first pr. in china two summers ago and my second last month thru Zappos. They are so comfortable and the color goes with just about everything. I love ordering from Zappos. The website is easy to use, quick delivery, good communication if they are out of stock. The merchandise comes safely and not damaged. And the Birks are so sturdy. I have worn my first pr. everywhere. They travel well. Thanks for keeping the style so long...

Love these... Best shoe ever...I'm an 8.5-9 usually, these are 40 narrow and they are perfect! I got the black patent...I want them in every color.

Classy Birkenstock - I bought this shoe in black patent and I really like it. It has an edge to it that other Birks don't have. I teach elementary school and I can wear them all day. And they look good too.

Great little shoe - This is an awesome Birkenstock shoe. I’ve recently had foot surgery, and these shoes are the only thing that seems to help me. This one is a bit tight on the toes at first, but will loosen. Love them!

Gizeh Review - I think these shoes are wonderful. I have always been skeptical about Birkenstocks in the past but I found a style that I love and I must say I am impressed.

Gizeh review - Fantastic deal on a supremely comfortable shoe!

Birkenstock's Gizeh - I have narrow feet with a high instep. These fit great, but take some getting used to. It took me a few tries to get the size right. I finally went to a local store and worked with a sales person - trouble was the store didn't carry narrow and Zappos did!

Excellent and Fashionable - I was not a Birkenstock girl but having torn my Achilles, needed a shoe that was functional yet fashionable. I love these shoes. They are funky, go with everything and fit like a glove. They match many outfits and do not look like your typical style Birks.

Comfortable & fashionable - I don't always like the look of Birks (though I always love the feel of them), but I absolutely LOVE the look of these Gizehs. I purchased the silver ones which are, in my opinion, the best looking and most versatile of the colors. These are my second pair and they do not disappoint. I wear them with nearly everything (jeans, shorts, skirts) and always get compliments on them. As a busy mother of two young children I walk a lot and find that my feet never hurt after a day spent in these shoes. The toe piece takes a little getting used to, but once you do you barely notice it. The Gizehs get my highest recommendation.

Love the Birkenstock Gizeh - I got this in the black patent and absolutely adore it! It gives the comfort of a Birkenstock with a slightly more stylish look. The black patent is really versatile too... cute with cargo pants, crops, etc. I did order a narrow and agree with other reviewers that this gives the shoe a slightly more streamlined appearance, and less of a wide, flat, more traditional Birkenstock look. I highly recommend this shoe as the perfect combination of comfort AND fashion!

I love that this shoe has a more feminine look than what is usually associated with Birkenstocks. I really love this shoe, and so does everyone else when I wear them out. The only criticism is with the band in between the toes. It is made of a hard plastic and sometimes it hurts if you step into it wrong. But besides that, this shoe is so incredibly comfortable in every other way. I have owned 2-3 pairs of the Milano's, and they're rather hot in the summer because the straps are so wide. This shoe is nice and cool on hot days. If I could wear shoes like this to work I would never take them off!

Gorgeous Gizeh - I love this shoe -- the thong part at first gave me searing pain all the way up to my scalp, and I thought "Oh no, I'm not going to be able to wear these fabulous shoes" -- but, somehow, my foot has adjusted and you learn how to walk in these! I wear them lots and my feet and legs are very comfortable! I put moleskin around the thong part just to ease the hardness and it helps (you can't see that it's there); my feet are wide but not really wide, and I took a chance on the Narrow because the medium was out of stock --- it worked! They fit perfectly! So, you can take a chance on that if your feet aren't *too* wide! And of course, fast fast shipping!

SUPER! Comfortable (after a day or two of breaking in), and the silver is nice-looking. Zappos could use more styles! My only wish: that Zappos would offer a hipper range of Birkenstocks, Birkis and Papillios. In shops I've found SUCH cool colors (including a soft, pale, metallic pink!!!), but I'd rather buy from Zappos. (^_^)
