Impeccable quality as always and great fit, I am an 8 and the size 8 boot was snug but very comfortable, fit my foot just right with a thin sock. Love the Ariat insoles they're the best. But what I received was nothing like the "Sassy Brown" color in the online photo, which appears like a distressed dark brown with lighter highlights. In fact, opening the box at first I didn't think I'd even gotten the right boots. These were a sort of uninspired medium tan-brown, sort of a blah color and certainly lacking the lovely drama of the dark brown-light highlights in the online picture. Other than that, if you are considering these, Ariat is all-leather, top of the line quality, inside and out -- no better boot at this price point, durable, stylish and 100% comfortable.

I have been looking at these boots for a while now. I finally decided to order them and they were out of stock. But Zappos came through they sent an email when they restocked and I got received them in 17 hours! Wow, is that great or what?! Unfortunately they were really narrow and I couldn't wear them. When I compared them to my daughter's boots these boots ran really small but the heel was wide. No worries though I will return them with Zappos great return policy I won't have to pay a thing. Thanks Zappos, you rock!

Loves these boots! Very comfortable. I'm a size 10 but ordered a 9.5...fit is perfect. Will be ordering more boots from Zappos. Service is excellent.

Love these boots! They are so cute and comfortable, my first pair of cowboy boots and I'm in love! I usually wear an 8 in most shoes but I had to order a 7 in these (they were huge!). Thank goodness for Zappos excellent customer service and free shipping both ways!

Great boots right off. I was replacing very well worn boots. Wore the new ones all day with no problems, wore them the next day too.

I am very happy with my boots. I usually wear a size 6-1/2 and I bought a size 7. They fit just right. I have muscular calves and these are a tiny bit snug around my calves but I think that they will loosen up as I wear them. Since I did not buy them for dancing, the rubber sole is great for comfort.

If you are looking for a comfortable boot! These are it. But order a half size smaller to a full size smaller. Wow, it's like walking on pillows.

I was desperate to get something other than heeled boots, and figured a pair of western boots would do the trick...well! These boots are totally awesome! I got them the day of another snowstorm, but ended up wearing them on the second day (after) the storm, and they were so comfortable, I wore them with my skirt all day, and the next day (Casual Friday), and shopping on Saturday. Fabulous. I've had problems with cowboy boots before - the leather didn't stretch, not enough arch support, etc. - but these were perfect. I would definitely buy another pair (when I wear these out totally). Definitely worth every cent and would recommend them in a heartbeat, even though I don't ride at all - love the soles, love how easily they broke in. Think these boots are going to do a ton of traveling with me - NYC and Cape Cod, here we come!

This is an awesome cowboy boot - for the non cowboy. It has a perfectly slightly worn in look and feel. They are comfortable from day one. The stitching matches the leather so it does not stand out but is a classic cowboy boot look. I am not going to wear these every day, but I bet I will have them for a long long time.

I love western boots but over the years I have had a hard time finding ones that fit comfortably for a day of wear. These boots are the best I have ever had! Buy them, you won't be disappointed!

This is my second pair of ariat boots and I love them both. Boots are geat and super stylish. They have a little dressier look with the pointed toe. I wear with dresses, jeans, everything. Super comfy too! They do take a bit of breaking in but nothing compared to other boots.

Whoa! I have never, ever, put on a pair of cowgirl boots or any pair of shoes that felt as comfortable as these shoes. I am still amazed that cowgirl boots can actually be comfortable. I totally agree with the other review that these are like tennis shoes. But better than any tennis shoes I have ever owned. They arch support is the best! I could keep these on all day! They sure knew what they were doing when they designed these boots!

Wonderfully made boot -- great deal! Crazy comfortable with decent arch support and a removable insole...I can hardly believe it is a boot and not a sneaker. I love the quiet non-slip rubber sole. I wear a 7.5 heel and an 8 sneaker normally. The 7.5 Ariat fits perfect! It is mis-listed as having a 2" heel. It is actually 1.5" with an 11" shaft (12.5" total). It is such a great boot that Justin tried to copy it with their Stampede collection (but they are not as comfy). This boot is listed on Zappos as simply the "Heritage Western," opposed to the "Heritage Western R-toe" or "Heritage Western X-toe." It should be listed as the "Heritage Western J-toe." It is almost the same boot as the "Heritage Western R-toe," save the toe and circumference. First, I purchased the R-toe, but one problem for me with the R-toe (that is not a problem with the J-toe) is the circumference at the top of the shaft is 14" (.5" bigger than the J-toe) and the boot is made of softer leather than the J-toe, so it makes my skinny legs look like they are stuck in a too wide bucket. The J-toe is more stiff and straight and fitted to my calf. The J-toe is also more flashy fashionable!

GREAT FOR WIDE AND FLAT FEET AND THICKER CALVES. I originally got the roper style in this brand because I thought these would not fit my very wide feet due to its pointy toe. I ended up returning those and trying these and they are perfect. I ended up ordering a 1/2 size smaller than normal. I am always, always a size 9 so I was skeptical that these would run "large" but the 8.5 fits snug at first but after 1 day of wear they began to stretch out. Cowboy boots will always need to be snug when you first buy them and then they stretch out across the bridge of the foot. Look great with leggings and jeans and can be worn for standing for long periods! I still have no idea how Zappos can get shoes to you so fast! I love this site!

Beautiful Rich Brown! Thank you Zappos for the shipping upgrade...received my boots within 2 days of ordering. These rich brown boots with the 'pink-ish' stitching are beautiful. I was a little worried they would be too dark for my taste, but they are perfect. And the stitching is beautiful...and I like the 'flower' design. It's a little more feminine than traditional cowboy boots. I ordered the half-size smaller like others have suggested and they fit perfect. They are a little stiff right now, but I can't wait to have them completely broken in. Overall a beautiful boot and I couldn't be more happy with my purchase.

Great Boots! I got these boots today in the mail and I already adore them! They are not super stiff or anything when you first put them on, and they are so pretty! I was a little worried that the pink outline would be too girly, but it is pretty subtle and compliments the brown and the result is gorgeous. I have size 11 feet and part of the reason that I bought these is because they are one of the few styles that come in an 11, but they fit very well! I can tell that these are going to be a favorite for a long, long time!

Great boots! These boots are, like every Ariat I've owned, really comfortable and don't really need any breaking in. I had my last pair for over ten years - probably should have replaced them sooner but they held up well and are still so comfortable. I expect no less from these new ones. I also have the Ariat Daisy boot. I don't feel I can ever go wrong with Ariat.

Terrific Boot! Very comfortable boot - the longer I wear them the better they feel! Great looking as well. I have gotten many compliments on them with jeans and corduroy skirts.
