A beautiful and comfortable boot. The leather is very soft, so make sure they fit tight across the mid-step, because they're going to stretch.

SUPER boot. Another outstanding Ariat product, I'm no spring chicken and have foot problems. As a teacher, I spend most of the day on my feet. These were phenomenal right out of the box. I have flat feet, and the supportive arch is a dream to wear. I look forward to casual Fridays, just so I can wear these boots with my jeans. They're durable, well made and stylish. I will say that I think Ariat boots tend to run a hair large. I needed to return both my boots and my daughter's (last year) for a smaller size. Purchasing and returning from Zappos couldn't be easier, though. They've always upgraded my shipping - I had my new boots the day after I called to say I was returning the first pair. I'm not a huge mail order fan, but I'm a loyal Zappos fan. (PS - another plug for Ariat: Both of my daughters ride horses, and we've only ever purchased Ariat boots. My 23 year old daughter has had her Ariat show boots since she was in eighth grade! They still look great.)

Fit perfectly out of the box! The boots did stretch a bit after wearing in the rain but no problem. Love them and wear them with pants, jeans, and skirts.

I agree with another reviewer. I wish I had sent them back sooner; they are very stiff around the ankle and hit the ankle bone constantly making them very uncomfortable in that regard. Otherwise, they were fine. Right now, they are sitting in my closet and haven’t been worn at all this season.

These boots are perfect. They are comfortable but do need a little breaking in. I wore them for short periods the first few times and now they are fine for wearing longer. The color brown is very neutral and the stitching has some white and blue thread. They look the best with blue jeans. If you don't tuck your jeans in, then I would save your money. These boots are made to be seen! I feel like a five year old who wants to wear my cowgirl boots everyday, but I prefer mixing them once a week or so. I'm a boot lover and want to wear them all. These are actually my favorite. I do have a high instep and they were a little tight across the top of my right foot for a few wearings.

This is the first pair of Ariat boots that I have owned and I love them!!! I ordered my shoe size and they feel great! No break in time! They have become one of my favorite pair. Quality is good and the pink stitching on the shaft is a nice touch. And, it goes without saying, that Zappos rocks! Shipping was next day and as always, the transaction was smooth.

I just got my Ariat boots for Christmas and every morning I can't wait to put them back on! So comfy, supportive and incredibly good looking! They were the best gift I received! I ordered my normal shoe size and felt the size and width were just right.

These boots are both comfy and cute. I found them to be true to size and bought my usual 8.5. The pattern of stitching is beautiful and I receive tons of compliments every time I wear them. A new favorite.

I am very happy with the Ariat Boots. I was surprised at first that they had a rubber sole, but then I learned they have been scientifically constructed to withstand years of mucking the stalls, and to withstand moisture. I tried them on and they were comfortable. They are true to size so order your correct shoe size. The rubber sole also provides more of a cushion for my standing job, so I kept them, and have worn them constantly since they arrived. I am really happy with the Ariat boots, they look great, I love the profile of the boot and the stitching. But I wish an American company can put together the same quality boot, and hire American workers to make them. The price was also a factor when I chose them. I would have to recommend them for the comfort, the look, and the quality, even though I was looking for American made cowboy boots.

I have wanted a pair of cowboy boots for about a year. These were from "Santa Claus" and I love them! They are very good looking boots!

Unbelievably comfortable cowgirl boots! I got these boots right before Halloween and wore them as part of a costume and haven't taken them off since! Seriously, I wore them the first night I got them and walked all over downtown and to a party. They needed no breaking in at all. Since then I wear them almost daily; they are so comfortable and smart looking. The faint pink stitching makes them look extra feminine. I love these boots! And everyone who has ever shopped Zappos knows they are beyond compare! I ordered them about 1 pm on a Wednesday and they were here by 3 pm Thursday at no extra charge, incredible service and shipping from Zappos!

Cute and Comfortable - Great looking boot. The arch support is wonderful. I can wear them all day with no discomfort. The finish is a flat brown, and they'll look even better after getting kicked around. Ariat makes comfortable boots that are reasonably priced. I should know, I own three pairs!

These boots are pretty comfortable, but I am returning them for two reasons. First, they have rubber soles, which although more durable than the traditional cowboy boot leather sole, are not replaceable. I brought them to a cobbler and he said the soles could not be replaced. I have had my current cowboy boots (leather soles) for 10 years already, replacing the soles when necessary, and they still look brand new. So, it would be a waste of money I think to get boots that the sole wears out faster than the shoe itself. The second reason for the return is that they are a little plain looking. I wanted something in black but with more interesting detail - inlays and contrast embroidery. Of course, this is just personal preference. For size, cowboy boots generally run large. I wear between a 7.5 and an 8 in most shoes, and the size 7 of these boots fits me, though the 7.5s may have been more comfortable. They definitely have a comfortable foot pad, though!

Shaft a bit stiff and tight at the ankle but nice color.

This is a great boot. It sure ain’t no dancing boot. I just wear them about town just to look good and feel good. I have no regrets. I would buy them again for style and comfort. The only complaint I have is that they aren’t good on the dance floor. The soles are made of grip rubber. This is not good for dancing.

I was very excited by the reviews regarding the wonderful fit and comfort of these boots, only to find I could not even get my foot into them...sending them back today.

Fits true to size. Makes your foot look way too long. Has odd stiching that rubs your arch.

There was something inside by the ankle that was very uncomfortable. It felt like a strip of leather that was not cut back and rubbed ankle very sharply. They looked a little on the cheap side as well. I did not care for the black rubber looking sole next to the brown leather. They did have nice cushion inside and if not for the sharpness inside they would have been comfortable. I am also disappointed in Zappos' shipping this time, it has been five business days and I still have not received the rest of my order.

Unfortunately I bought these boots to go country dancing and the soles are not leather, but rubber. They might be good for riding but not a dance boot.

So bummed! I really wanted to love these boots. So easy to get on and it felt like walking on air, but the calf width seemed huge on me. They looked kind of funny with bare legs. I didn't think my calves were that slender. Maybe okay if I was only wearing them with tucked in jeans, but I had planned on using them with dresses and skirts too. Had to return them. If they offered a narrow calf width in this style, I would buy them again.

Impeccable quality as always and great fit, I am an 8 and the size 8 boot was snug but very comfortable, fit my foot just right with a thin sock. Love the Ariat insoles they're the best. But what I received was nothing like the "Sassy Brown" color in the online photo, which appears like a distressed dark brown with lighter highlights. In fact, opening the box at first I didn't think I'd even gotten the right boots. These were a sort of uninspired medium tan-brown, sort of a blah color and certainly lacking the lovely drama of the dark brown-light highlights in the online picture. Other than that, if you are considering these, Ariat is all-leather, top of the line quality, inside and out -- no better boot at this price point, durable, stylish and 100% comfortable.

I have been looking at these boots for a while now. I finally decided to order them and they were out of stock. But Zappos came through they sent an email when they restocked and I got received them in 17 hours! Wow, is that great or what?! Unfortunately they were really narrow and I couldn't wear them. When I compared them to my daughter's boots these boots ran really small but the heel was wide. No worries though I will return them with Zappos great return policy I won't have to pay a thing. Thanks Zappos, you rock!

Loves these boots! Very comfortable. I'm a size 10 but ordered a 9.5...fit is perfect. Will be ordering more boots from Zappos. Service is excellent.

Love these boots! They are so cute and comfortable, my first pair of cowboy boots and I'm in love! I usually wear an 8 in most shoes but I had to order a 7 in these (they were huge!). Thank goodness for Zappos excellent customer service and free shipping both ways!
