Super cute! Haven’t had a pair of Birks since high school. Needed a classy walking sandal for work. Even cute with pants. True to size. 9 1/2=40. I did move the adjustable toe strap over the fixed strap to loosen the toe up a bit. Win win xo

My 3rd pair of Birkenstocks!! I usually qear an 8.5 in all shoes, but in Birks that's a 39. I needed a 38 in all 3 pairs!

The arch support seems less than traditional Birks, but they are a fun version of the German sandal.

I typically wear a size 37 but took a chance and ordered a size 36 and glad I did. The fit is perfect, love the look and feel. I will keep them. Minor issue, the pictures show the toe strap buckles as far as the second hole on the strap. The left shoe toe strap reaches the second hole but the right shoe toe strap will only go to the first hole. If I try to move it to the second hole it’s very tight and feels uncomfortable. Maybe over time the strap will loosen up, but it kind of bothers the OCD in me.

Perfect fit all around! Cute and stylish, looks good with many styles!

Would have kept these if I could slip them on without buckling every time- what a pain.

I had originally ordered a size 39 regular since I wear 8.5 W. They felt like they were 1 size to big so I exchanged it for a size 38 regular and it was a perfect fit. Cute sandles and very comfortable.

I first ordered a size 39 because I wear 8-8 1/2 normally. The 39s were a little longer in the toe area and heel so I decided to replace them with a size 38 and I'm so glad I did. The 38s fit perfectly and i loved them so much I ordered a black pair too. They are awesome! Straps are long enough...leather feels a little stiff right now (does not hurt) but I know they will soften in time.

This is my second pair of these shoes and I love them! comfortable and able to walk a lot in them. strap seems to help so you don’t have to use your toes to keep them on. I do think you should size down of between sizes.

As a Birk wearer most of my life, i have to say the ankle strap is a very nice addition to the already awesome Birkenstock. Zappos- i thank you for your prompt and professional service!

I love my new Yaras! I love the regular footbed as they support my flat feet. I’m able to walk a lot without pain. I used to have bunion and heel pain but not anymore. I got the Habana and I love the deep, rich brown color. The straps fit nicely and helps anchor my feet for easier walking. it looks cute and stylish also!

I liked these shoes but the ankle strap was too tight! I do have fat ankles but generally don’t have this problem with other sandals

Be specific about your likes and dislikes. How was the fit and size? What does the material feel like? How awesome (or not) do you feel wearing them?

These are great shoes. I don’t think Birks are cute at all, but I still wore them for comfort. But as far as cute- these ones are! And they’re just as comfortable as the less fashionable styles. As for people saying size down...I don’t agree at all. I guess it depends on how you like the fit, but even with that being said, these fit the same way as my other ones. I listened to the reviews and sized down when I first ordered these years ago, and it was a huge mistake. My toes were right up on the edge and it rubbed on the bottom of them when I walked. Awful. My normal size was perfect. I say order your normal size.

These are super cute and comfortable. I was worried the ankle strap would rub, but it is soft and feels fine. I had no trouble with the strap being to tight. As other reviewers mentioned, these run a full size big. I have many pairs of Birks, all size 38. I had to send these back for a 37. Can't wait for summer to wear these!

Birks are the best! Arch support is superb and feet melt into sandals over time.

These are by far my favorite Birkenstock shoes. The Yara sandals are cute, stylish, and feel amazing on my feet. For reference, I wear a size 6.5 - 7 medium width shoe in women's. My size in Birkenstocks is 37 narrow (most of the shoes are very wide), but in the Yara sandals I wear a regular 37 and the fit is great. (Does this mean the shoe width is smaller than other Birkenstocks? I would say yes. Sidebar when I ordered these the shoes were not available in narrow, and I'm not sure if they come in narrow width. Personally, I love these shoes and think they fit great. The strap size is also perfect for me (I wear them on the tightest hole).

The best so worth it

Love love love these shoes, so pretty and so comfy. A little stiff on the straps but will loosen up. Very cute. Worth the money.

I have a wide foot and it feels great. May be too wide for a narrow foot. High arch needs some breaking in, but then it becomes your foot’s best friend. Gives your Birki a nice style kick!

I’m a size 7 but but the 38 was too large on me despite it being recommended for size 7-7.5. I wouldn’t buy supportive shoes because I thought they didn’t suit my style but Birkenstocks ended up being my solution!

I listened to other reviews and sized down (I wear an 8.5 and ordered a 7-7.5). Big mistake! My toes were hanging over the edge...so back they go. They’re very cute and I’m sure they will be ridiculously comfortable, just like my other Birks so of course I’ll re-order.

I 've been wanting to order this style for a long time, and so glad I did. I first ordered the size 38 as it said 7-7.5, but there was too much room in the heel, so ordered a size smaller (37), and this is perfect. The leather is high quality. A bit stiff but I know with time it will soften. I love how the sandal feels really secure on my feet. The wrap around ankle looks great with cropped jeans or capris. very happy with may purchase, and as always with Zappos service, even during these times, was awesome! Runs one size big Oder one size down you will be happy .Very cute. Love the style
