I was so excited to see these for sale, and they don't disappoint. I got the dark brown, and they are amazing! They're comfy, like any other Birkenstock, and the straps around the ankle feel worn in enough, to where they don't cause blisters. My only problem (kind of) with them, is that I have skinny ankles, and so if you wanted the straps to be snug around your ankles, you'd have to add more holes. Though, I kind of like the slouchy/relaxed look that it provides, I don't mind. Totally would buy another pair.

I love this style, because it's more delicate than the typical chunky Birk style. At first I thought they they were too large, but I'd forgotten that Birks are just roomier. Once I tightened the front strap, my feet stopped sliding around. The second day I wore them I walked 10.5 miles and didn't even get a blister! Fantastic.

These shoes are so great! I bought it in both brown and black. I wear them everyday...easy to dress up or down. Definitely a spring/summer staple. Lots of support, so comfortable its like your not even wearing shoes!

When I realized that Birkenstocks were back in style for this season, I was so excited, because I used to love Birks as a kid. While I didn't want to re-visit the clunky double-strap version that I knew everyone would have, I opted instead for this ankle strap style that was a little different. I originally purchased a size 37 (I'm usually between a 6.5 and 7), but found these to be really large, and went down to a 36. Keep in mind that the color of the leather is not consistent from pair to pair. The first pair I got was a much more faded brown color, while the second pair was much deeper brown - closer to the color in the photo. As for fit and comfort level, the ankle straps take some getting used to, and I'm still trying to break them in. Once (if) the leather softens a bit, I think I'll be able to wear them all day. For now, I'm wearing them for only a few hours at a time because I'm afraid of cutting the skin in the front of my ankle. The thong section has not given me any problems. Overall, these are a well-made shoe and I expect them to last.

I'm still breaking these in, so I can't quite give them 5 stars on the comfort factor yet, but I'm betting they will be there soon. I've only had them for a couple of weeks, and the weather has fluctuated between hot and pretty chilly where I live, so my time wearing them has been limited. I wear a size 9 in most shoes, but I ordered the 39 in this shoe because so many reviews mentioned that this shoe runs large. I got them and wore them around my house for awhile, but when I walked my toes rubbed the front rim a bit. After reading about Birkenstocks a few other places online, I found many sites that said it was important to have a few millimeters in front of the toes and behind the heels for the best fit when walking. It's also important that your arch and toes line up correctly with those shoe elements. With the 39's my arch and toes felt like they were in the right spot, but I didn't want my toes to rub the front. I exchanged them for the 40's and I think this fit is much better. It's taking some time to get used to the toe strap. I love Chacos with the toe leash, but the leather on the Yara is much thicker than that. I wear the ankle strap pretty loose so that it doesn't rub. Though several people have mentioned the ankle strap being too loose, I notice that it doesn't seem to be a large factor in keeping the shoe stable. It's a bit loose even at the tightest adjustment, but I don't think it helps or hinders the shoe's stability on my foot. I love the look of the style, and they're getting more and more comfortable as I slowly break them in.

Fun bohemian Birk! The oiled leather color is very neutral against my tan legs. Size 41 (I wear a 10) fits well, and my feet are on the narrow side. Buckles provide adequate toe and ankle adjustment. The lines of this style are flattering and not as 'clunky' as some others. Like all Birks, there is a break-in period, so if this is your first pair and you're wondering what all the hype is about how comfy Birks are, just give them some time. It takes a couple days to lose the stiffness and maybe a few weeks for them to mold to your foot. Once they have, they're like second skin. Order and enjoy!

Absolutely? Em! I'm a true size 10 but read on the reviews they run a bit big so I ordered the 9-9.5.. made a good decision there... they fit perfectly, are so comfy and will be amazing once broke in. :) Love, love, love them!

I love them. A very wearable, versatile color and a unique style to compliment the support and durability of a Birkenstock. I typically wear about a 7, but I got this in a 36, or US5. My friend usually wears an 8 and she got a pair of Floridas in a 37, so it seems they run uniformly large.

I wanted so badly to love these sandals but the leather straps gave me blisters. I know some folks say that the leather will break in, but I don't believe that is possible. Leather straps that chafe the skin can't be "broken in." These are going back.

So satisfied with this purchase. Just got them, out them on and they fit like a glove! Normally I'm a size 9, but I took the advice of other reviewers and got a size down.. The 8/8.5 was perfect. Definitely recommended.

Ordered a 38 and they fit my size 8 foot. Not as comfortable as my other Birkenstocks. The loop around the big toe is tight and really pinches. I'm hoping if I wear them enough they'll soften up and stretch out, but so far they are not comfortable.

Love these shoes. Super comfy right out of the box considering the weight of the leather. They go with everything. I usually wear a 7.5 in regular shoes, order these in a size 36 and they fit perfectly.

Was a little iffy about these at first...after encouragement from my family I started to wear them and can't take them off! Love these shoes and they looked a little more polished than the classic Birks which is nice when I don't want to put it effort but also don't want to look lazy.

I love these in the light brown shade (Tabacco Leather, as it says on the Birkenstock box) but I don't think I can keep them. I usually wear a size 10/41 in every shoe. With these the 41 footbed fit me better than the 40, but the size 40 straps fit better than the 41 straps. I'd keep them if I could have the 41 footbed with 40 straps. The 40 fit me a little short, meaning it "fits" perfectly standing still, but with no extra room to spread my toes when walking—the toe bar hits at a painful spot and my toes hit the lip of the sandal. In the 40 I can wear the toe strap on the second hole and ankle in the middle hole, and they look and fit well. In the 41 the straps are wider and longer than the 40, which looks masculine and doesn't keep my foot in place well—I have to wear them on the last holes and they still flop around too much at the ankle and heel. Perhaps Birkenstock figured only men would wear the 41s and up.

As much as I wanted to keep these stylish Birkenstocks, the ankle strap was way to big and I couldn't justify taking it to a shoe shop to fix it and spend more money so I returned it.

This is my first experience with Birkenstocks. Everyone says they are so comfortable so I had to try them. They are AWESOME. The only issue is they run big. I'm a true size 7, but I am a 5 in Birkenstocks.

So I own a pair of Birkenstock Arizonas in a size 38 and have been wearing them for around a decade. I guess Birkenstock's version of what a 38 looks like has changed over the years, because my 38s in the Yara were HUGE. Like, two inches past the end of my heel. Exchanging for a 37. These are adorable, on-trend and perfect for dressing up or down, so I don't mind the switcheroo!

Love these sandals, but I have narrow feet and these don't come in narrow; too wide. Also, the strap around the ankle was way too big. Maybe for another girl, but not this one. Darn! Also the leather around the toe is thick and not soft. Beautiful looking, though.

Love my new Yaras! Takes a day or two to break in like my other Birkenstocks. After that, they are great. I am a size 9, and ordered a 39 and they fit perfectly. Zappos was timely and wonderful as usual!

Love! I chose a full size smaller (normally an 8, chose a 7) and they fit perfectly. Super comfortable and the leather really complements my skin (I'm pretty pale). I love this style of sandal and these are very cute! Can't wait to wear these daily!

I love these sandals! The sole is thick and sturdy and the leather is super soft. This is a practical shoe as you can easily dress it up or down. You'll definitely need to work your way into them though - no wearing them all day the day you get them. Size down as they run big and are made for a wider foot. I had to return mine for a smaller size but was able to do so with no issues. Expect lots of compliments when wearing these sandals!

Love these shoes. I wear a 7 mostly in sandals and sometimes a 6.5 in other open toed shoes. But I ordered a 6 because I know these run big. I was happy with the fit. I know Birkies get more comfy the more you wear them so I am satisfied. I'm in love with these shoes, now I must get them in black.

I love Birkenstock sandals and clogs. However, this particular style made me feel like I had blocks of wood for feet. They were not nearly as comfortable as they were cute. For that reason, I had to return them. I am sad because I can't find them in a narrow width and Birkenstock said they have been discontinued.

First time I ordered Birkenstocks, I always thought they looked like "old people sandals!" My foot Dr suggested I try them. Actually cute but this style runs really wide, so had to return them.

Wanted to love these, but had to return them. The toe bar on the right foot bothered me too much. My feet are not the exact same size, so that most likely was the problem. Very cute style though.
