These shoes are amazing! They were my first pair of Birkenstocks along with the white ones and I loved them. When I first wore them my feet were a little sore because the shoes weren't molded to my feet yet. Now that I have had them for a while, my feet are never sore.

Great stylish sandal, so differen yet with the same comfort expected from Birkenstocks. Fit is same, I usually wear a 39. I have plantar fasciitis, so I only wear.

Do NOT order the next size up in this Birkenstock. It isn't necessary. I wear a size 40 in Birkenstock. I wear the same size in this style. It is super comfortable and very cute, but I'd suggest you have to have skinny ankles to wear them. I have very skinny ankles, and they are almost too tight. They are loosening up already, however. I recommend these shoes highly. They are so pretty on the foot, and they are less clunky than you might expect for Birks.

Very excited about these new sandals. I am going to be pregnant throughout the summer and thought it would be worth the money to have a pair of sandals with good arch support, but I am tall and didn't want anything that would add much height. These are my first pair of Birkenstocks and I was nervous about them being too big, but I ordered a 41, my normal European size and they fit very well, although maybe a little bigger than how other 41 shoes fit me. I also have thick ankles and I wasn't sure if the strap would make my ankles look even thicker, but they don't at all. Overall, really pleased with my purchase and looking forward to warm weather!

They do run big. I need to return for next size down. I can not wait to get the replacement though! They looked awesome and were comfortable already even though not broken in yet.

I LOVE these Birks! I did order one size smaller than my regular (I am typically an 8.5 / 39, but went with the 38 based on reviews). They fit perfectly. Footbed is typical for the brand and has great support throughout. The thinner straps on these make them a bit more feminine looking. Love that. I did where them for shorter periods the first 2-3 times to avoid excessive rubbing until the leather softened. But 2 weeks in they are dreamy.

Love these shoes. I ordered my regular size (41) as well as a size down, per other reviewers' recommendations. The 40 is way too small (couldn't even buckle the strap), but the 41 is perfect.

Just a heads up, I wear the same size in the Yara as I do in the two other Birkenstock styles I own. I took the advice of several reviewers, who stated that this particular style runs larger and sized down. Mistake! I immediately exchanged them; which Zappos makes so super simple. FYI- I wear an 8.5--9 US. I wear a 39 in Birks and Mephistos.

The leather is thick and beautiful. They did rub my feet on one side but after wearing a few times they were broken in. This is my third pair of Birkenstocks. I am normally a 39 in European sizes but I went a size down and they are perfect! Buy these!

Love these shoes! I always wear a 9 but I had to go down a size because the 9 was way too big. I am a shoe-aholic and these are my very favorite pair. I LOVE THESE! The style is so cute and comfortable!! I have owned one other pair of birks before and they took FOREVER to break it and was painful. Surprisingly theses didn't hurt or need breaking in at all!! I will say... Size down. I'm usually a 38 and I ordered a 37 and they fit perfectly!

THEY RUN LARGE SO I LISTENED TO OTHER REVIEWS AND ORDERED A SIZE 37 INSTEAD OF 38. I AM USUALLY A SIZE 7.5/8 IN SANDALS AND THE SIZE 37 WAS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. I CANNOT WAIT TO WEAR THEM WITH SHORTS, JEANS, AND MAXI DRESSES. WILL BE PURCHASING ANOTHER STYLE, AND HAPPY THEY HAVE RESURFACED IN THE FASHION WORLD.

Took a few days to break in but now truly my most comfortable sandals. I've been stopped to ask where I got these, they work casual or with a sundress. I'm chasing a toddler all day and they work for any adventure we go on. Love!

These Birkenstock Yara's have got to be the cuties berks available! If your looking for an updated boho style of berk these are it. There is no break in whatsoever. I thought the oil leather was going to be stiff like my berk boston's oil leather but that was not the case and way softer right out of the box. They do seem to be a tad on the longer side having more room in the back of my heal than my other size 40 (I'm a 9-9.5) berks. I might order a 39 just to see if it helps. But this style is too cute!

These are so comfortable! My only issue is that when I walk, the heel of the shoe gaps a little bit away from the heel of my foot, but it's mostly a pet peeve, and I think this will get better once the shoes are broken in. I'm usually a 38, but I had to get a 37.

I love these sandals. I'm between a 10-11 medium width show size. I ordered the 10-101/2. These sandals I think look so cool. Extremely comfortable on my big, flat feet. I will be wearing these with skirts and some casual dresses even. Plenty of heel and toe space. I see why others ordered a size down. I almost ordered an 11. Glad I didn't. Great adjustable straps. Can't wait for it to warm up outside. Will be my go to shoe clean through the summer. Well made as Birkenstocks are, expect to get many years of wear.

This is my first pair of Birkenstock's and I absolutely love them. I was originally going to go with the Mayari, but after trying these on, I fell in love. They're more secure and I feel like I can wear them doing pretty much anything. My arches are terrible and these actually give me the support I need, which is a rare find, especially in a sandal. As other reviewers have said, they do run big. I typically wear a women's 8/39 and I got a 37 in these, which is marked as a 6-6.5 and they fit perfectly. So definitely go a size or two down when ordering.

Absolutely marvelous and classy looking. I had to wear them for a brief period each day in the beginning because the buckles at the ankle and under little toe irritated my bones slightly, but then suddenly, one day, I just didn't notice it anymore. My favorite summer shoes. I'm used to wearing Birks - was wearing them when only hippies wore them - and these fit well. Not too wide nor too narrow in footbed. My usual size fit fine. Ordering another color.

I love these sandals! The arch support is great - I feel like it really contours to my feet after you walk around in them for the first time. I am usually on average size 7, but based on the other reviews, I decided to go down one size to a 6 (37). I am glad I made this decision because there is still some room left on the sandal around my foot, but not so much space that it feels bulky or uncomfortable. I read somewhere that having some space around the toes is recommended for Birkenstocks, anyways. This is my first pair of Birkenstocks, and I believe they will be my go-to sandal for many years to come. I especially love this particular style. To me, it's much more fashionable than the original. The only thing is getting used to the toe strap. It does rub against my toes sometimes, but I believe this is because I adjusted the straps to their tightest position, so this should not be a problem to remedy. Don't be on the fence about these sandals. If you are looking for quality sandals that look AND feel good, then I would highly recommend these to anyone of all ages.

Easily the best shoe I own. I wish I could wear these year round. I bought these a few weeks prior to a trip to Disneyland and man am I happy I did. I've worn these to many walking-intense events and even hiking. I believe I ordered a half size smaller, at least, to get a good fit. I've recommended these to my friends and family, I love them so much. While they are a little nerdy, I could really care less because they're so incredibly comfortable. I may have had a little pain wearing them in in the beginning (the straps that is), but it was completely worth it and they're perfect.

I waited a few weeks to review these and I love them. It does take a few all day wears to break them in. The straps are long and I had to add a extra hole to the strap around the ankle. I do not have skinny ankles. Every time I wear them they feel better and better. Long lasting well made sandals.

My initial desire for this purchase was the sophisticated yet casual style of this sandal. The ankle strap was too long for my leg so I opted to order a size smaller, which worked to my favor. What I would like to share is that the first 5+ times of wearing this shoe was work and not always enjoyable due to the fact that your foot needs to get to know the straps. Please know that it pays off and will become a very comfortable and classy Birkenstock sandal. Stick with it because it will get better! At first, I found that the ankle strap pinched at my shin and realized that if I placed the strap with buckle holes beneath the strap with the buckle, it did not pinch and was comfortable. Explore what holes work best for your front toe and ankle until it feels right. Relax your foot when you walk and don't give up, as these shoes will feel dreamy in the end.

I bought these sandals when I was seven months pregnant and was needing stronger arch support than usual. I'd originally gotten shoes and sandals that were easier to put on and off, but they were just not supportive enough and I was having sciatica and back pain issues. These issues calmed down once I switched to these sandals. Now I'm nine months pregnant and though it's tricky for me to put them on and take them off I'm still loving them. So worth it!

These shoes are so cool and comfortable. It took a few times wearing to break them in but now they are super. I can walk city streets all day. Great for site seeing.

So far I love these, so much more stylish than the typical Birkenstock. These are my first pair of Birks, by the way. The only issue I had was that I need to punch another hole in the ankle strap. Some people returned them because there weren't enough holes, how silly! Just punch another. I bought these to try and remedy the back problems my other shoes have given me. I've always been a cheap flip flop wearer. So far, they've been great! Yesterday I walked in them all day with only a little twinge at the end, probably because I'm also a sloucher.
