LURVE! Order one size smaller. I wear 6, I ordered size 5

This is my 1st pair of Birks! I have a wide foot, and the regular width is just right. I wasn't expecting the foot bed to be hard though, but once you break them in, it's all good. I wear an 8-8.5, so the size 39 was perfect! I can't wait to buy my next pair!

Just received these today; they are huge! After reading all the reviews I order one size down; I normally wear an 8.5 and ordered a 38. I will admit I was skeptical that they could run that large, but it is true; my foot is swimming in the bed and my toes barely reach the straps. I will be exchanging them for a 37 (6-6.5) two whole sizes below my norm. Hopefully they will fit, fingers crossed.

These are awesome! I wear a 7.5/8 so I took advice from the reviews and ordered a full size down (37) and they fit perfect!! I'm so Happy!

I bought my first Birkenstocks just last year (Mayari) and I was hooked. These have the same traditional Birkenstock footbed. I think the ankle strap gives them a more feminine touch even though it is chunky. I find them less secure than the Mayari - even though I thought the ankle strap would make them feel more secure. I was wrong. You will have to buckle and unbuckle to remove/put on the sandals- there is no elastic the straps are all leather.

Love love love the look of these Birks!!!! They have to be broke in just like all of my others but I expect that. I ordered a 39(I usually wear a 9 to 9.5 in other shoes) and they fit great!!

I've coveted these shoes for a long time. My husband surprised me with them for an anniversary gift and I have to say, they totally live up to my expectations! They are comfortable the instant you put them on, the the leather straps do eventually wear down. They are cute enough to wear with dresses and sturdy enough to for lots of walking. I absolutely love and find them to be the quintessential summer sandal. I will echo everyone else in getting a size smaller. I wear a 9.5 in women's shoes and bought the 38. They fit like a glove.

These are my first pair of Birkenstock and I have to say I am obsessed with these sandals! They are so comfortable. I'm normally a size 8 but after reading the reviews I decided to size down and I'm glad I did. I ordered them yesterday and they got here today (free one day shipping if purchased using app). I can't wait to try other styles of Birkenstock.

Mmm, mmm, mmm, this sandal is a winner! After years of deliberation, I finally joined the Birks party; and at first blush, I'm so glad I did! These shoes arrived in the mail today, so I can't vouch for long-term wear, but I am very pleased. These shoes are incredibly well-constructed - the cork sole is extremely supportive, the leather is thick and supple. For reference, I have relatively narrow feet, particularly in the heel, and average, slightly wider toes. I have dancer's feet, high arches, and am sensitive to irritation on the ball of my foot (I have a small bunion) and pressure on my heel. I am typically a size 7.5, but at the recommendation of former reviewers I went a size down to the 6-6.5 Birkenstock's size. So happy with that decision! These shoes definitely run a full size large, so size down. As a half-sizer, I was worried. But in the end, sizing down was definitely the right choice. These shoes are quite comfortable out of the box, but I can see that they will require some breaking in. I did a little research and that seems to be normal, so I'm not worried! Looking forward to seeing these mold to my feet. Enjoy!

Terrific style — excellent for dressing up or down — with that same Birkenstock comfort and arch support we know and love! I found the ankle straps to be pretty comfy, and it only took a couple wears to break in the toe strap. Fit-wise, I did find these to be a bit more wide than usual. I own the Arizona, Gizeh, and Boston, all in size 39, and these were slightly wider-feeling (and maybe even a bit longer-seeming, too). But they still work, and I love 'em.

I love these shoes! Make sure to treat them with the cork sealer periodically! Keep the ankle straps really loose. They are not meant to restrict your natural foot movement!!!

I have flat feet and need support- Birks have always been great and bought these to replace a faithful pair I had. These are cute and easy to dress up and down- a little break in period, as with all Birkenstocks- but feel great. The ankle strap fit just right and keeps the sandal in place too. Love the oiled leather color. If you coat the cork foot bed sides with the sealer they sell, it will make yours last even longer. A great investment in sandals, fabulous support and a cute look.

Love, love, love these sandals!! I have lusted over them for two years and finally got them for a birthday gift. I have thicker ankles and they still looked good without looking like I had cankles(Which was a fear ??) super cute!

These are amazing! I have these that are just flip flops and I thought these might be too similar but they are perfect. You will not regret getting them. The color in the picture is a little darker brown than what i actually got but I'm fine with it, I love them!

The fit is just like my other Birkenstock sandals such as Mayari. I normally wear a 9 or 40 in sandals, and I always order a 39 in Birks. There is just enough extra length for my toes to spread while walking. I have pretty small ankles and I have to use 2nd to last hole for buckle so just a heads up there.

I'm new to Birkenstock. Oddly, I never got on the trend in college and I really missed out. These shoes are amazingly comfortable and cute looking sandals. These are narrower than the traditional Birkenstock, but for my narrow size 12 feet they are true to size and perfect.

Love my sandals. They are a smidge long, but a little too short when I tried on the size smaller. Love these and can teach in them the entire day!

My daughter loves her Yara Sandals for the style, fit, and comfort. Not returning them!

I love these sandals! They are very comfortable. I was worried they would slip and slide because of the ankle strap but they feel very secure on my feet. Lots of support. I tried on other Birkenstock sandals in the store so I would know what size to order. I usually wear an 8.5 to 9...I ordered a 39 in this sandal and it fits perfectly. My first pair of Birkenstocks so I can't wait to see how they hold up.

So comfy right out of the box! I was hesitant to order because I have wide feet but they fight like a gem. Normally wear 9.5-10W and the 40 fits perfect.

I love these sandals. Super stylish. They do run big so I recommend getting 1 size smaller then what you normally wear. I get lots of compliments on these. They are well made.

Sexy Birks? Who'da thunk it? But these Birkenstock sandals, with their encircling ankle straps are kinda sorta sexy! That part aside, I do find them just as comfortable, reliable, and sturdy as my Birks in the more traditional, clunky styles. Wearing the Yara, I feel less like a hippie, and more like a bohemian. I guess it's semantics, but the bottom line is that these sandals have a je ne sais quoi that most Birkenstocks just don't possess. Feeling good right out of the box. Highly recommend.
