These are so comfortable! My only issue is that when I walk, the heel of the shoe gaps a little bit away from the heel of my foot, but it's mostly a pet peeve, and I think this will get better once the shoes are broken in. I'm usually a 38, but I had to get a 37.

I love these sandals. I'm between a 10-11 medium width show size. I ordered the 10-101/2. These sandals I think look so cool. Extremely comfortable on my big, flat feet. I will be wearing these with skirts and some casual dresses even. Plenty of heel and toe space. I see why others ordered a size down. I almost ordered an 11. Glad I didn't. Great adjustable straps. Can't wait for it to warm up outside. Will be my go to shoe clean through the summer. Well made as Birkenstocks are, expect to get many years of wear.

This is my first pair of Birkenstock's and I absolutely love them. I was originally going to go with the Mayari, but after trying these on, I fell in love. They're more secure and I feel like I can wear them doing pretty much anything. My arches are terrible and these actually give me the support I need, which is a rare find, especially in a sandal. As other reviewers have said, they do run big. I typically wear a women's 8/39 and I got a 37 in these, which is marked as a 6-6.5 and they fit perfectly. So definitely go a size or two down when ordering.

Absolutely marvelous and classy looking. I had to wear them for a brief period each day in the beginning because the buckles at the ankle and under little toe irritated my bones slightly, but then suddenly, one day, I just didn't notice it anymore. My favorite summer shoes. I'm used to wearing Birks - was wearing them when only hippies wore them - and these fit well. Not too wide nor too narrow in footbed. My usual size fit fine. Ordering another color.

I love these sandals! The arch support is great - I feel like it really contours to my feet after you walk around in them for the first time. I am usually on average size 7, but based on the other reviews, I decided to go down one size to a 6 (37). I am glad I made this decision because there is still some room left on the sandal around my foot, but not so much space that it feels bulky or uncomfortable. I read somewhere that having some space around the toes is recommended for Birkenstocks, anyways. This is my first pair of Birkenstocks, and I believe they will be my go-to sandal for many years to come. I especially love this particular style. To me, it's much more fashionable than the original. The only thing is getting used to the toe strap. It does rub against my toes sometimes, but I believe this is because I adjusted the straps to their tightest position, so this should not be a problem to remedy. Don't be on the fence about these sandals. If you are looking for quality sandals that look AND feel good, then I would highly recommend these to anyone of all ages.

Easily the best shoe I own. I wish I could wear these year round. I bought these a few weeks prior to a trip to Disneyland and man am I happy I did. I've worn these to many walking-intense events and even hiking. I believe I ordered a half size smaller, at least, to get a good fit. I've recommended these to my friends and family, I love them so much. While they are a little nerdy, I could really care less because they're so incredibly comfortable. I may have had a little pain wearing them in in the beginning (the straps that is), but it was completely worth it and they're perfect.

I waited a few weeks to review these and I love them. It does take a few all day wears to break them in. The straps are long and I had to add a extra hole to the strap around the ankle. I do not have skinny ankles. Every time I wear them they feel better and better. Long lasting well made sandals.

My initial desire for this purchase was the sophisticated yet casual style of this sandal. The ankle strap was too long for my leg so I opted to order a size smaller, which worked to my favor. What I would like to share is that the first 5+ times of wearing this shoe was work and not always enjoyable due to the fact that your foot needs to get to know the straps. Please know that it pays off and will become a very comfortable and classy Birkenstock sandal. Stick with it because it will get better! At first, I found that the ankle strap pinched at my shin and realized that if I placed the strap with buckle holes beneath the strap with the buckle, it did not pinch and was comfortable. Explore what holes work best for your front toe and ankle until it feels right. Relax your foot when you walk and don't give up, as these shoes will feel dreamy in the end.

I bought these sandals when I was seven months pregnant and was needing stronger arch support than usual. I'd originally gotten shoes and sandals that were easier to put on and off, but they were just not supportive enough and I was having sciatica and back pain issues. These issues calmed down once I switched to these sandals. Now I'm nine months pregnant and though it's tricky for me to put them on and take them off I'm still loving them. So worth it!

These shoes are so cool and comfortable. It took a few times wearing to break them in but now they are super. I can walk city streets all day. Great for site seeing.

So far I love these, so much more stylish than the typical Birkenstock. These are my first pair of Birks, by the way. The only issue I had was that I need to punch another hole in the ankle strap. Some people returned them because there weren't enough holes, how silly! Just punch another. I bought these to try and remedy the back problems my other shoes have given me. I've always been a cheap flip flop wearer. So far, they've been great! Yesterday I walked in them all day with only a little twinge at the end, probably because I'm also a sloucher.

These are super cute. I was looking for Birkenstocks that weren't so masculine and bulky & these fit the bill! I own the Gizeh & Adria, but still found them not to be as fashion forward as I like. I have worn them anyway because I have herniated discs in my back, sciatica, a bum knee AND flat feet! LOL, so I REALLY need supportive shoes... I wore them because they were good for me but now I actually have a pair that I ENJOY wearing. :) I wear these literally everyday...I just picked up the Tobacco color. I 'm usually a size 9.5-10 but I found the 40 to be perfect. I have wide, big feet, and these actually make my feet look cute with a great pedi. :) I'm a happy lady.

I love these shoes and want to have a million of their little oiled leather babies. They're awesome. That said, I have super flat feet and terrible bunions, and it took me a good two or three weeks to break these suckers in. At first I thought there was no way it was going to work out - my "arch" (which isn't really an arch at all) felt bruised after wearing them. But I persevered, and hot damn! They feel great now. It took a little while, getting used to the straps around my ankle, but now it's like they're made for me. I get tons of compliments on these shoes, and it's awesome to be on my feet all day on my concrete floors (I'm a stay at home mom with four kids, so I don't sit down much) and end my day with ZERO foot/leg pain. I get tons of compliments on them, and they're just about as feminine as Birks are gonna get. Oh, I did order down a size, as all the other reviews suggested, and it was a good fit. Also, the ankle straps were way too loose on me, so I had my husband hammer a nail through to make a few extra holes. Was super easy, looked fine, and the shoes fit great afterward. BUY THESE SHOES. They're tough to break in, but it is SO WORTH IT. I love them!

I love love love this new feminine Birk! I've been wearing the manly Arizona for over 10years, resoled, renewed to keep them alive and I was thrilled to find these bohemian beauties. My feet have changed quite a bit (got fat) since having 2 kiddos in the last 3yrs so nothing looks pretty on them. These do!! Birks are fabulous for their arch support, even per my podiatrist and these Yara's don't disappoint. I would say opt for a smaller size if you have normal pretty feet. ;)

I was torn between this style and the Gizeh. But ultimately the ankle strap style won out. The ankle strap is loose, but I think it is meant to be because the sole of the Birkenstocks doesn't have give the way a regular sandal does. I have worn them on long walks and there are no issues with blisters or discomfort with the ankle strap loose, which is why I believe the looseness is an intended part of the design. The black from the oil-rubbed black did rub off on my skin after the first four or five wears, but now the sandals are broken in.

The ankle strap is way cute. It dresses the shoe up a bit from the average Birkenstock. I am a solid size 10 with no tendency to ever buy a 9.5. My feet are a bit wider than average but not usually wide enough to warrant buying a "wide" shoe, but sometimes. I got a size 41 in regular width. They fit great with a little room in the from and back but not a lot. Width is just perfect for me. The tobacco color is true to what they looked like on my iPad. I get compliments every time it wear them. So comfortable.

These are the perfect sandals. I was skeptical paying a lot for them, but I would do it again and again. I wear an 8.5 and I got a size 38. They fit perfectly. Get them! Seriously! I even went hiking in them and they felt great. I may buy a pair in black too.... I wish I could give these sandals 100 stars. Truly.

I was so excited to see these for sale, and they don't disappoint. I got the dark brown, and they are amazing! They're comfy, like any other Birkenstock, and the straps around the ankle feel worn in enough, to where they don't cause blisters. My only problem (kind of) with them, is that I have skinny ankles, and so if you wanted the straps to be snug around your ankles, you'd have to add more holes. Though, I kind of like the slouchy/relaxed look that it provides, I don't mind. Totally would buy another pair.

I love this style, because it's more delicate than the typical chunky Birk style. At first I thought they they were too large, but I'd forgotten that Birks are just roomier. Once I tightened the front strap, my feet stopped sliding around. The second day I wore them I walked 10.5 miles and didn't even get a blister! Fantastic.

I'm still breaking these in, so I can't quite give them 5 stars on the comfort factor yet, but I'm betting they will be there soon. I've only had them for a couple of weeks, and the weather has fluctuated between hot and pretty chilly where I live, so my time wearing them has been limited. I wear a size 9 in most shoes, but I ordered the 39 in this shoe because so many reviews mentioned that this shoe runs large. I got them and wore them around my house for awhile, but when I walked my toes rubbed the front rim a bit. After reading about Birkenstocks a few other places online, I found many sites that said it was important to have a few millimeters in front of the toes and behind the heels for the best fit when walking. It's also important that your arch and toes line up correctly with those shoe elements. With the 39's my arch and toes felt like they were in the right spot, but I didn't want my toes to rub the front. I exchanged them for the 40's and I think this fit is much better. It's taking some time to get used to the toe strap. I love Chacos with the toe leash, but the leather on the Yara is much thicker than that. I wear the ankle strap pretty loose so that it doesn't rub. Though several people have mentioned the ankle strap being too loose, I notice that it doesn't seem to be a large factor in keeping the shoe stable. It's a bit loose even at the tightest adjustment, but I don't think it helps or hinders the shoe's stability on my foot. I love the look of the style, and they're getting more and more comfortable as I slowly break them in.

Fun bohemian Birk! The oiled leather color is very neutral against my tan legs. Size 41 (I wear a 10) fits well, and my feet are on the narrow side. Buckles provide adequate toe and ankle adjustment. The lines of this style are flattering and not as 'clunky' as some others. Like all Birks, there is a break-in period, so if this is your first pair and you're wondering what all the hype is about how comfy Birks are, just give them some time. It takes a couple days to lose the stiffness and maybe a few weeks for them to mold to your foot. Once they have, they're like second skin. Order and enjoy!

Absolutely? Em! I'm a true size 10 but read on the reviews they run a bit big so I ordered the 9-9.5.. made a good decision there... they fit perfectly, are so comfy and will be amazing once broke in. :) Love, love, love them!

So satisfied with this purchase. Just got them, out them on and they fit like a glove! Normally I'm a size 9, but I took the advice of other reviewers and got a size down.. The 8/8.5 was perfect. Definitely recommended.

Love these shoes. Super comfy right out of the box considering the weight of the leather. They go with everything. I usually wear a 7.5 in regular shoes, order these in a size 36 and they fit perfectly.

Was a little iffy about these at first...after encouragement from my family I started to wear them and can't take them off! Love these shoes and they looked a little more polished than the classic Birks which is nice when I don't want to put it effort but also don't want to look lazy.
