Love these pants. Wearing them right now sitting in a guesthouse in Luang Prabang, Laos. The waistband sits right at the bellybutton level and is flexible without bunching. I'm 65 so I don't like them any lower than that but also don't want them any higher. The zippered pockets are a must in crowds that probably have pickpockets. I'm 5' 6" and the size 10 are the perfect length.

These pants are snug in the thighs and in the seat. If you have a flat rear end this cut provides a very good fit without the loose fabric where your rear curves in. The stretch fabric is very comfortable. Waist rides slightly below natural waist. The pant leg is a straight leg with no flare apporximately the same width at the hem as the width at the thigh. Good all day casual look.

Wow! I'm a size 14, 5ft 9 & was looking for a pant for travel that dried quick/lightweight. These Boulder colored pants do my rumpus a favor-are slimming & waistband is very comfortable. I do like that it is not a cargo pant - all covered in pockets. I plan on wearing these Merrell Belay pants hiking in the Sierra's this summer & casual outings. Gotta love Zappos!

Awesome. Very comfortable loose fitting around legs but a little snug fitting around the hips.

Perfect! I will be in Qatar on business but was told not to wear any dresses/skirts. This will be perfect for the hot and humid climate. A bit short but there was enough material to let it out!

Love these pants. They fit great, don't wrinkle, dry quickly. I love that they look dressier than jeans and are more comfortable but can be worn instead of jeans. Wish they came in more colors.

I like these pants a lot. I'm 5'9, weigh 150, and I'm somewhere between a 10 and a 12 depending on the pant. This size 10 looks trim and terrific, and the 12 is a bit looser but not bad. I'm keeping them both--the 12 for gardening, yoga (lots of stretch) and an upcoming trip to India with a 25 hour flight, lots of car travel, and time on the trail. I paint in these as well, and can say that the cloth releases small stains (water based oils) well. The size 10 will be for summer dress casual around town. The oyster is a lovely silvery gray, and the waist is blessed with lots of stretchy give, not loose but not like an elastic noose either. The fabric is soft but tough, light and cool. The fit around the bum is perfect, as others have remarked: form revealing but not stuffed sausage look. I hope Merrell keeps making this pant, and thank you Zappos.

These are wonderfully fitting/flattering pants with a forgiving waist. The legs are cut longer than any other quick-dry pant I could find so they will stay tucked inside my wellington's as I traipse through the rain forests of Peru. The zipper pockets are good for security but don't expect to put much more than a tissue in the cargo pocket. These are so nice I went for a 2nd pair.

I got these pants in grey and black. I purchased them after having the shorts for a few years. I love both - very comfortable. Slight Stretch that gives during active outdoor activities, comfortable when I was in Thailand since it was >100 deg. Also warm and comfortable hiking in upstate NY in late fall. they wash nicely and keep form and true size.

Great hiking pants...lightweight...comfortable even in the Arizona heat. I'm 66 and enjoy comfort as well as style. Had ordered 2 pair, but they fit so nicely that I ordered a third. I especially like that they can be "dressed up" so you can reduce the amount of clothing you bring on a trip. They run true to size and, even with my short 28" legs, were not dragging on the ground. I did roll them up once to give them a small cuff, but with hiking boots, really didn't need one. Very smooth, streamlined fit..."invisible" zipper pockets that did not add bulk...like these a lot.

These are the perfect pant! The fabric is lightweight, stretches and doesn't wrinkle. They are very flattering! Even though they are a little pricey, they are worth every penny! I bought the black and the oyster. They go with everything. You can't go wrong!

Love these pants. They fit so well with no crazy low-rise or weird tight fit. Really roomy and classy fit.

I really liked these pants but couldn't justify the price when there are other types of clothes I need more. The waistband is nice (kind of like the waistband on men's underwear) and quite stretchy/forgiving. I will definitely keep these on my "wish list."

I have been wearing the capri version of these pants for several years now. When I was looking for a nice pair of hiking pants for vacation this summer, I found these. And knowing how much I like the way the capri pants fit, I ordered these. They are perfect in the way they fit and in the length. I do find they run a little big. I had to size down in the capri pants and ordered accordingly in the pants. I love the zip pockets and the strong two snap closure. I wash these and hang them to dry. I have not had any fabric fading.

Love them. They are slimming, non wrinkling and super comfy! I have a long inseam (33) so I can only wear them with flats.

Bought these and the same pant in capri length for trip out west. These 2 pair were the the only ones I wore. Very comfortable and has enough give for climbing. Like new even after many washings.

This a terrific fitting pant, very comfortable and stylish. I'm 5'5" and had to take them up an inch (from 32" to 31" length). Bought a second pair after trying the first one and took both pairs with me to Tanzania on safari. Perfect choice for the trip. These are now my go-to pants for the summer. I usually wear a size 10, sometimes 8, depending on cut. The cut is a tad snug in the hip, so if you are between two sizes, order the larger size.

These are fantastic pants. They fit, they have a very handy cargo pocket for my cell phone, they wash great, they are flattering and very comfortable. These are my 2nd pair, and with all the walking I did in the 14's, I can now wear a 12! Yea! And thanks for the next day delivery.
