I have been wearing smoothies for all my life and love them. For some reason I can't find them in shops anymore and they seem narrower. Also the straps do not seem as thick as before. 40 plus years! Hope your not phasing them out! ?

Great pair of sandals. Great arch support. You can walk for miles in them. I have bought these for my husband and myself for years. They have one big problem though, they color the bottom of your feet black. These in particular are worse than my other pairs. The older ones would take a while before they did that, but these after a couple of days of wearing them the bottom of my feet got black. Hence I give a low overall score.

These flip flops became unusable after leaving them in the sun. Curled up and became unwearable. Disappointing because now they don't fit.

The right sandal is way to wid. Difficult to walk up or down stairs and keep the sandal on. I think the sandal was defective as it is much wider than the left sandal which fits fine. Please send me a replcement.

I started wearing the SMOOTHY approx. 25+ years ago and it WAS thee premier flip-flop. It has descended into oblivion and is not even a reasonable facsimile of its former self. The consistency of the cushioning was exquisite and top-of-the-line, didn't squish down in a month like the Teva Mush does now, and you got PLENTY of mileage out of them. Today they're virtually hard as a rock and the quality is gone. I've tried a few of their other models and from what I see, Reef is going to make these back end heavy sandals until they're out of business and they're going to be sitting around wondering why....because you don't listen.

I can't believe how narrow these are, especially being marked as wide width. I mean regular width sandals have fit better than this. I thought it would be a safe bet going with men's over women's, but I was wrong. I've been trying different pairs with Reef, but I'm about to give up on the brand. I am returning them.

They must’ve changed the sizing because all my other Reef sandals fit great, are the same size as the smoothy sandals and I buy a pair of these every year. This time they’re too narrow and little too short (all my other shoes and sandals fit the same so I don’t think my foot expanded/grew... I think they changed the sizing of the flip flop).

These run crazy small and when I called customer service, I was informed that they offer no exchanges. I ordered a men's 7 and they run about 3/4" smaller than all the other Reef sandals in men's 7 that I own.

These were my favorite flip flops. I wear a size 15 and had to wear the largest size Reef offeres. However, it seems that Reef has changed the way they size the flip flops sometime between 2015 such that you would need to order a full size bigger to get the same fit. That means I'm out of luck since 15 is as big as they go. They are obviously smaller when doing a side-by-side comparison with my older flip flops and are the same length as size the 14s my friend owns.
Reef, why would you change the manufacturing process to make your sandles fit a full size smaller than before? That is annoying for people who buy from you regularly. In my case, I went from wearing my Reefs evereywhere to being completely unable to wear them.

Great slipeprs, except that you walk in them for 30 mins and your feet would be black from the underside.
Everytime I walk in them for 30 mins i have to clean my feet. :(

I have worn Reef flip flops for half of my life. I finally got rid of a pair I had for 20 years. I bought these new ones I had to send back because they were surprisingly too small. I'm a woman and wear a men's 9.5. I bought a men's size ten but it fit like a women's size 10! I'm wondering if they don't make 'em like they used to :(

I have worn the Smoothy sandal since Reef introduced them, BUT unfortunately, these are no longer durable like they have always been. I originally bought these sandals in May of 2017, but have gone through two pairs, where the toe strap has blown out in one year. I called Reef, after my first pair blew out after six months, and they sent me a new pair. The second pair, again, lasted six months and the same thing. It appears the company must have changed their quality control because this never happened before. I have since gone to one of their major competitors that have made this same type of flip flop, for almost as long as Reef has, and hope they will last like what I have been used to (two to three years of life). I assure everyone I did not abuse this product, and I believe they have changed their manufacturer of this product. I almost called Reef a third time on this, but it was not worth the hassle.

The surface on which your foot rests is VERY slippery when it is wet. One must be very careful when water is present, such as while washing a car, walking in wet grass or working around the pool. Since those are the reasons I bought them, I am not very happy with my purchase.

I've been using this one for years and i never found anything close as good as this, until i was recently forced to replace my worn out pair. Blindly I order the usual one like every 4 year's or so (they last pretty long) but was very sad when the packet arrived. Apparently the design was changed to be appropriate for Bigfoot instead of humans now. The Straps were way too wide. I could easily put my whole flat hand between the foot and the straps. I've then went to a store to check if it only applied to my lot or if it become a general issue. Till size 12 the straps seems ok (but still wider than they used to), but at size 13 (the one I ordered) the width increased overly. Very disappointing. Good Things should be left unchanged!

The Smoothy is now narrower than before and not as soft. Looks like they decided to make them cheaper and give up the quality they used to have. All for a better price? Used to be a big Reef fan but now will look for other options.

I purchased my first pair of reefs 10 years ago. ABSOLUTELY LOVED them. Nice form for my feet and lasted long time. Imagine my chagrin when I ordered another pair of smoothys to find out the shape has been changed to flatter feel. Nope. Don't want these. Oh well, time to find different brand.
