This shoe is cute and comfy. It is more sleek than a traditional Birk. It is also much cheaper which is awesome. The gold brown is like a metallic bronze color and is very cute. I usually wear a 9.5, but went with a 39 in these. The narrow sizing was just fine for me; I've never gotten narrow before but I think they make the sandal more trim in this case.

I got these delivered to my front door today and have been wearing them for the last 5 hours. I am total closet Birkenstock fan. I have been wearing them as my 'house' shoes for many years but would not dare to wear Birks in public. These are the exception to the rule: stylish! Reminds me of my old Dr. Scholls I wore in college without the hard sole.

I love these sandals! I bought these because I needed a comfortable/supportive pair of shoes during the last few months of my pregnancy. I never want to take them off - they are incredibly comfortable despite extra the weight and swollen feet. I am typically an average width but ordered these in the narrow width. They fit great even when my feet are a little swollen. They are definitely recommend!

I ordered the Birkenstock Madrid in Black Patent and I love it! The shoes did take a little "breaking in" before I could wear them for long periods of time, but now they are great. Going on other comments, I bought a size smaller than I normally wear and they fit perfect, plus I have wide feet and have no problems with these shoes. This was my first purchase from Zappos and I'm very impressed! I will definitely be ordering from Zappos again.

Great casual, supportive sandal! I bought these specifically to wear around the house after purchasing countless slippers that offered no support. These are perfect! As is typical of Birkenstock, these sandals have very good arch support and are made of high quality materials. I normally wear a medium width but ordered these in the narrow width and they fit just right.

Great sandals! I've been looking around and contemplating about buying a pair of Birks, but couldn't seem to find something that wasn't, shall I say, too dorky. These are much more refined and feminine than other Birk styles, and very comfortable! I usually wear a 9-9.5, and have an average width foot, so I went with 40 Narrow, and they fit wonderfully! I've only been wearing them for a couple of days and they are breaking in very nicely -the first day was a tad uncomfortable, but they are great now! I was a little disappointed with the amount of time it took to ship the shoes. It took about 6 days, which is reasonable, but longer than I anticipated for Zappos.

These are fantastic. Very cute and great for walking. When ordering make sure to order one size down as they run big. I wear a 7.5 and i got the 6.5(37) and the fit perfect.

I have lymph edema issues with my feet and legs and it's tough to find shoes/sandles that fit. If they fit plus look and feel good as well, I do a happy dance! The Madrid works perfectly for me, plus the onyx color is unique and goes with just about everything. I wear 11 WW's (and even some of them are too small) and the 42 reg width was a solid fit for me at the furthest opening. Good thing since that's as high as women's sizing goes in Birks. For once I fit the shoe and not just the shoe box... FYI for any other WW ladies, I'm also breaking in a pair of Mayaris by Birkenstock but had to punch an extra hole in the main strap.

These are great! They are very comfortable and I love the silvery grey color! As usual, Birkenstock's does not disappoint.

Terrific sandals. I had the same style in patent leather, and the band literally cut the tops of my feet, but these are perfect. Will buy again and again.

This is my third pair of Madrids, so obviously I am a fan. When I saw the pink option I was thrilled. This is a nice medium rose shade, not too muted or too neon. I can wear these at work or on a sight-seeing vacation day without getting foot fatigue. They are less bulky and dorky than old school Birkenstocks. They do run big and wide. I wear a 7.5 or 8 regular in other shoes, but go down half size and narrow in Birks.

I found these shoes to be true to size. I have had several pairs of Birkenstocks in the past - all the same size. These are very comfortable - just used these as my primary walking shoe for a 4 day vacation.

I love these shoes, I have these in black patent and silver. I wear the black patent on date-nights with my black skirts and they are great. The silver goes great with denims, whites, etc. Very cute shoes and healthful to wear. My knee and back pain is lessened a great deal when I wear these shoes. Enjoy! You can't go wrong with these.

I love Birkenstocks but with this particular shoe you need to order a size down from your normal size. Had to send back and order a smaller size.

This is the most comfortable sandal to wear in the summer. If I am going on vacation and need a serious all-day comfort sandal, or to run around doing errands, or walk my dog, these are the ones. I have four pairs. I am in love with this shoe. My feet are on the wide side of medium, and the left foot is wider than the right, so the adjustable buckle is perfect for me. I'm usually a size 9.5/10 and the 41 works for me. A tiny bit long, but the 40 is too short. Buy these, your feet will be happy.
