This particular style is so comfortable; as with most Birks the cork insole molds to your foot and soon it isn't a shoe but an extension of your foot. I highly recommend any Birkenstock; they are by far the most comfort I have found in footwear. The only thing better than a Birkenstock is to purchase my Birks from Zappos! I love doing business with you. Even though I have only placed a few orders, I am completely sold on your company. If word of mouth is your best advertising, my mouth must be worth millions. I am impressed with Zappos 10 point core values. Every company should take a look at Zappos and try to emulate themselves to your high ethical standards of business. By the way, my order was delivered less than 24 hours from when I first placed the order. This is not the first time, rather it seems to be the normal, wonderful customer service that has spoiled me. Thank you for the Wow! This company is great.

Awesome fit and feel, great price too! I have the black patent and wear them in lieu of flip-flops since they offer more arch support and I am on my feet all day. Worth purchasing.

I ordered a pair of Birkenstock sandals. They arrived the next day! I love them and I absolutely love dealing with Zappos. Would I recommend them to friends and family? In a heartbeat. Super to deal with! And Birkenstock products. I have plantar fasciitis and my Podiatrist recommended them. Birkenstocks and Zappos are great!

Great shoes for around the house, yet still acceptable, though not fashionable, for doing errands. Would have preferred matte finish or suede, but these were available in my size, 39, at a discounted price. I also have very wide feet, EEand these fit fine. Based on past experience with this brand, I expect them to last a long, long time.

I had Birkenstock before. They last for years. They are practical, light, and comfortable. They accomodate most difficult feet. Besides, they look good. This time I had a slight problem in the beginning though: the leather was too tough and rubbed on my pinkies for a while. After a few weeks, me and my Birkies, we are getting along quite fine. If you buy Birkenstocks, you have to keep in mind that you'll have them for years. Again, the leather should be somehow softened on the edges, so that they won’t rub on feet in the beginning. That would be a great improvement. But, all in all, I am quite happy with my Birkies.

recently had foot surgery..only shoe type I could wear aftyer the boot came off....felt great..since have purchased thre more pair similar to these. Zappos service is excellent!

I ordered these in chocolate and was hesitant to do so, fearing that the patent would be too stiff and shiny. I was wrong on both counts. These are great shoes and are among my faves!

I bought these sandals for my daughter who has very flat and wide feet and whose legs are a bit out of whack because of the shape of her feet. The shoes fit great and are really helping her to have better posture. I have a pair of Birks and love them, but I wasn't sure if Madeline would be able to handle the arch support. She likes them a lot and they look great on her. Zappos is a great place to shop and the customer service is wonderful. This whole experience has been excellent.

My first pair of Birkenstocks and I am thinking about buying another pair; they are so comfortable. They do run large, though. I had read other posts so was aware of this and ordered a size smaller than I normally would wear, which turned out to be just perfect: I normally wear a 9.5 medium; these are a 39, and I've tightened the strap to the last. These sandals are great for summer. I've worn them almost every day since they arrived. Zappos has always been outstanding, and delivery is amazingly fast, sometimes overnight.
