I love Birkenstocks, have an ancient pair of Arizonas, and decided it was time for a new pair. I got the golden brown - a neutral color so they’re great with anything - pants, shorts, skirts. They’re cute, less chunky than other styles, but with the same magic foot bed you find in a Birkenstock. They’re a little tight right now (I buckled them pretty tight because I don’t like shoes that slap so much), but soon they will form to my feet and they’ll fit.

I have very narrow feet, and am a pretty big fan of my Birkenstock clogs. I love my Milano sandals, but they don't quite suit my fashion sensibility. Maybe I've just outgrown them. I ordered the Madrids with hesitation. Summer presents a footwear predicament for me, because going casual in sandals means lots of searching. I just hate the way gladiators look, and even "classier" thongs still look too much like my ultra-casual Reef flip flops. These are really super. They definitely have a breaking in period, which my other Birkenstocks have not. I had blisters on one foot and was highly concerned. However, I stuck it out, and now they are completely comfortable. I'm going to buy another color.

I got these on my podiatrist's recommendation after a foot injury. They are so comfortable, give a lot of arch support, and have a good amount of cushion (I have a bone spur in my heel and these are the most comfortable shoes I've found, even more comfortable than sneakers). I've also gotten a surprising number of compliments on them. I'm not sure how well they would work for extended walks, since they slip a little like most flip-flops/slide-ons. They are definitely a good value for the price though.

This is by far the most comfortable flip flop ever. I now have them in 3 colors for summer. I stand on my feet all day and no longer have any foot pain. This is also the cutest Birk I have ever seen.

I\'ve recently been suffering from my feet and ankles swelling and none of my shoes would fit at the end of the day. The adjustable strap of the Madrid Birkenstock was a perfect solution. It allows me to fit the sandals throughout the day. The color that I thought was brown is actually goldish\/brown - a nice touch of bling for the somewhat homely but most comfortable shoe ever made.

I bought this style after having a similar pair of Birks bought in 2000. I still have them, though they look a bit ratty. Everyone who sees these likes them, and what's best is that they are super comfy. I wear an 11M and ordered a 42N -- I also tried the 41, but it seemed like my foot hung over a bit. I don't want to wear any other shoes, now! I also tried a pair in the normal width, which probably fits as Birkenstock intends, but was a bit chunky looking for my liking.

I\'m very happy with this fit. My foot is very narrow so slides don\'t usually work - but this one does! Now I wish I had more colors.

These shoes are great. I wear them everyday, and I never have any foot pain. I also love how they form to your feet!

I LOVE these shoes. Comfortable and VERY affordable for Birkenstocks. Make sure to order a size smaller than you would usually wear. I am a 9, so I ordered the 9-9.5 and had to return them for the 8-8.5.

Very comfortable. If you have any foot, or back problems you know how much relief this brand can bring. I love my Birkenstocks!

I love, love, love these shoes. Felt a little different at first without the second strap but by the second day, I was confident enough to wear outside. In fact, I wore these to a wedding with a midcalf-length black skirt because I needed to be comfortable! For the price, give them a try. I\'m going to order another pair. Just perfect for summertime.

I love these easy slip on Birkenstock shoes that actually look pretty good. they don't have that typical Birkenstock look, the patent leather updates them and makes them look more cosmopolitan, urban. I have gotten compliments on them. Easy go to slip on for all summer. took a couple weeks to soften the stiffness that they have when brand new, but from previous times of having Birkenstock the worn in phase is well worth the wait.

My first pair of Birkenstocks. Nice Slide. I expected the strap to be leather, but I don\'t think it is. Hopefully it will be durable and last as long as the footbed.

The same supportive Birkenstock sole at a great price. The silver color is lovely and I've received lots of complements. I'm a 10 to an 11 and the 41 is perfect. The 42 is a little too long. So don't size up. Also, I got mine in narrow, which works perfectly. I love having a choice in width.

Great shoe if you are a Birkenstock fan. These have a little style to go with the comfort, being shiny silver. Also reasonably priced for a Birkenstock.

First time in my life I tried shoes and didn't want to take them off. They are so comfortable. I got them in silver and for first few minutes I was disappointed because I though they will be more white (as on the picture) but they are silver. But they look great anyway. I won't exchange them. They came in perfect size.

These shoes are so comfortable. I did fit in a 35 normal (usually take a 36). They look really cute too, not as clunky as some of the other Birkenstock styles.

I ordered the Birkenstock Madrid for an upcoming trip to Europe. I was looking for comfort and shoes that still fit after the long flight. I had them broken in after only two days of wearing and they still fit my swollen feet at the end of the flight. I took other shoes but ended up wearing these the whole trip, they were that comfortable. I also chose these because the patent style added a more dressy look. The shoes were marked to be a little larger than my shoe size 10 and that worked very nicely for me.

I just got these today and was so happy! They are very comfortable and cute. I really love the patent look. Zappos is awesome!

I have two pairs of the Birkenstock Madrid. It's a nice simple style and so, so comfortable. I have heel spurs and I can walk miles in these sandals. The delivery service from Zappos was outstanding. Will be ordering another pair of Birkenstock shoes in the near future.

I bought my very first pair of these sandals in Black patent leather and just ordered the gold/brown which look like antique gold to me. These sandals have really helped me with a painful foot problem, called a heel spur. I was traveling and walking a lot with another pair of cushioned sandals and by the time i reached my destination was in a lot of pain. The depressed heel and arch support of the Birkenstock shoes are the only shoes I can wear right now with this ailment. Maybe it's just me, but these results make me a believer in this product.

These shoes are comfortable. I can wear them for a long time. They are a good color and good width and cute. They do run a little big so order a size smaller.
