I’m new to Birkenstock’s. At first I thought these were too large, but after adjusting the straps, doing a little fiddling with the buckles, I’m amazed by how perfect these fit my feet.

Great Birk but sizing not right for my foot. They are either too short or too long in the Milano.

Good shoes, as expected. Zappos customer service was AWESOME. I bought the wrong size (my feet are smaller than I thought I guess. Easy returns and shipped me the correct size FAST.

If you know your Birkenstock size then you can’t go wrong! My dad is 82 and says they fit like a glove. He has wide feet and the regular width fit perfectly

I am between an 8.5 and 9.0, so I ordered a 9-9.5. Those were too big, so tried a 8-8.5 and they are perfect. The arch does seem a bit too much, but from what I heard it takes time to break in. I’m overall very happy with my purchase

Zappos service is great! The sandals are exactly as described. The size was actually right on the money so glad I didn't put too much weight on some reviews. I imagine I'll have them for a very long time, so well worth the investment in the leather upper and original footbed. You may need to play around with the straps to get the fit right, they aren't supposed to be tight like some sport sandals.

Although I didn't purchase my Birkenstock Milano's from Zappos I have purchased shoes many times from them. About the shoe. I wear a 10 in US sized shoes. When I bought my Birks more than 24 years ago, I bought them from a shoe store where my daughter was working. The size that fit me was a 42 narrow and has been the correct size all these years. The leather straps look brand new, but I have had the foot bed replaced 3 times. Just picked them up today. I confess I don't take very good care of them, but I love them and wear them in all seasons. They go perfectly with my hand-knitted socks. I have another pair of this in the Birkibuc, but don't wear them as often so they are still on the original foot bed. I hope this is helpful to those considering the Milano.

I love these shoes! Because I have Plantar Fasciitis my Dr. said I needed a shoe I could wear all day and that had a good arch support and a lowered heel cup. These are that shoe! They are so comfortable, the fit is true to size. Although I do have a wide foot so they are probably a little wider than a regular fit. And can I take a minute to say how much I love Zappos?! I must have ordered 20 shoes to find these and they took them all back and sent me the new ones over and over and they credited my account almost immediately. Overall I have had a great experience with this shoe and with Zappos!

You just can't go wrong with a classic Birkenstock. After having my old Arizona's for over 15 years, they broke beyond repair so I opted for this style to finally replace the old ones almost two years later. Birk's are not the most stylish shoe out there and the newness has taken a few wears to get worn in but after a while I totally remembered why I love this brand. You can wear them all day and your feet don't hurt. The leather was a bit stiff at first but now that it's worn in they are sliding on with ease. Hopefully I won't have to buy another pair for another 15 years!

My mom bought me a pair about 25 years ago. I still wear them. I've taken them on various vacations and walked all over. Very comfy. I have even sprinted in them. They're very durable.

Love my new Birks! Zappos is the bomb. I wear size 9 shoe typically but Birks seem to run large. Bought size 40, fit perfectly. Go to mall, try some on first.

What can I say, they're Birkenstocks. This is my third pair in twenty years, and I expect I'll get ten years out of them like the last two pairs.

Comfy! These fit and feel like the Birkenstocks I remember. I have temperamental feet, and these sandals let me enjoy the sunshine in comfort!

Have had a pair for about 20 years, finally my wife said they look awful and ordered me new ones. The new ones are wonderful and they look great.

Great shoes, wore years ago and wanted a good sandal with room for toes to be comfortable. I wear a medium shoe so ordered reg. width. Much too wide so exchanged for narrow and the fit is great. Zappos service to customers is great.

I ordered these for my teenage daughter who has never been much of a sandal-wearer. It took about a week for her to get used to the feel, but she has been wearing them frequently now and says they have molded to her feet. Some have commented that these run extremely big, but we did not find that to be the case. The first size she tried was too small so I called Zappos, and they had a replacement to us by the next day!

Found the model I wanted; received it quicker than advertised; fit perfectly. A great experience - Zappos.

Birkenstocks are the very best dream you can give yourself. My first pair was the Boston clog and six years later they are still a treat for my feet. The sizing of Birks is their own, so when people say they run big, the are wrong, they are just used to differently made shoes. These Milanos are definitely lovely & a welcome member to my ever expanding Birkenstock family.

The heel sole is already wearing as well as the cork heel is cracked. The thirty years of wearing Birkenstock sandles, this has never happened. Otherwise the fit and comfort are the same.

I usually wear a 9.5 shoe and I felt most comfortable in the 8 - 8.5 size Birkenstock.

I wanted to love these but sadly I was not a candidate for Birks. I wear a 9-9.5 shoe and went with the reviews and got a 9-9.5. The length was too short for me. So I ordered a 10-10.5 and length and width were fine but Birks have molded arch supports and my left foot did not match up. Made my arch ache with every step. Right foot was perfect. I ordered a second 10-10.5 thinking the mold may be slightly lower. It was not. My arch aches in that shoe as well. Disappointed but all 3 pairs are returned.

What more can you say? Been wearing them for 30 years. My only problem with Birks is they only last about 2 years max. I'm on my feet a lot and I tend to wear out shoes pretty fast. I wish the rubber compound for the sole was more wear resistant.

I like them so far but they fit better than my Arizonas of the same size, 43. One problem with them is the leather is not oiled on the edges the are raw which leads me to believe Zappos, as it's parent company Amazon may be dealing in counterfeit Birkenstocks at worst or poor quality control at the least. $125 is a lot to spend on sandals and they had better be nothing less than perfect. I have been wearing Birks on and off for 30 years and never encountered foot beds of differing quality sized the same or thicker and unfinished straps. Dunno, maybe time to find another brand or just go with flip flops.
