We got these for my 7-year old son\'s sailing classes on an Optimist. They are perfect for the purpose since the front is well guarded. They are light and comfortable.

You really can't go wrong with these shoes. They can be easily cleaned (pop in the washing machine when they get filthy), get wet (dries easily), toe cap protects feet (so they are great for outdoor play unlike most sandals). We started buying these for our son when he turned 4 and he is now 7, so we have purchased 4 pairs. My son has some fine motor issues so the velcro makes them easy to get on and off. He has a wide foot and he is able to wear them without a problem.

These were my 2nd pair of Keens and I love them! The fit is great and I can wear them all day long right from the beginning!

My son really likes these shoes. He wasn\\\'t really sure about them at first but after a few days he was hooked. I got the large enough hopefully he will get some spring wading done in them before outgrowing them.

Zappos associates are awesome! They help every way they can to accommodate your every need. I needed these Keen shoes the day I ordered them. Zappos was so wonderful to get them out to me that day. Being a VIP customer and loving the online services, I have been using Zappos ever since. By the way, my daughter loves the Keen shoes and walked all over Disney comfortably.

A great shoe. May run a little small. Love that it protects the foot, but also allows the foot to breathe on hot days. A good looking shoe; we have had many compliments on it.

This was our first pair of Keen sandals and we're hooked! Each summer we get our son a pair of good sandals and these were exactly what we were looking for. Very sturdy, very rugged, very well made. They go with everything from jeans to khakis to all his shorts. We love the olive green color because they can easily look a little dressier or super casual depending on the outfit. These fit the shape of my son's foot perfectly, they are very easy for him to get on and off himself and they clean up both easily, and beautifully (they look great after lots of hard wear, and lots of cleaning). We also loved the fact that after lots and lots of hard sockless wear they don't smell! And the fact that they are pretty "green" (earth friendly) was a big plus for our family. And I recommend purchasing through Zappos 100%! At home fittings (no more taking impatient children shoe shopping!) and free returns make it worth it and then some! We will be getting another pair of these next year, and we will be placing the order with Zappos.

These are awesome sandals. I have four children and they each have a pair. These are sandals with the support of sneakers. I buy these every year and I will continue to do so. Also, Zappos is the best place to buy them from! No one stands behind their product like Zappos does.

These shoes are great. I thought my son would just want to wear them in the creek at camp but instead they have become his favorite summer shoe. They are easy to slip on and off and the color goes with a ton!

The Keen Hook & Loop is the best Keen yet – it’s the easiest to put on and take off. It’s the best waterproof sandal (rain and puddles are not an issue) allowing little bodies to release heat through their feet, but it has protective toe caps that prevent injuries during rambunctious play. They are so well made, they always look new, even after 6 months of hard wear.

These shoes are great, fit well, can be adjusted, and look fine after loads of wear. When dirty just throw them in the washer. Despite narrow feet, they are comfy. Great for cycling.

These sporty kids’ sandals from Keen are a great find! They are easier to put on than their predecessors due to the addition of a velcro strap that allows you to fully open the shoe. My son loves wearing them b/c they are "cool" and look similar to his dad’s Keens!

This is the 4th pair of Keen Newports our 6 yr old son has had. The hook and loop makes putting them on easy. He wore them 4 days straight all day at Disney World. No complaints from him. They can get stinky. Foot spray works. Great shoes!

Great summer shoe! Easy to put on and very comfortable. This brand runs small. We ended up buying a full size larger than my son normally wears - thankfully Zappos made the exchange process a breeze.

My 9 year old daughter loves these shoes. They are true to size, comfortable, and have good arch support. There were no sore spots as usually happens with new sandals. And they arrived in one day with free shipping. I ordered myself a pair of Keens the following week!

Second year to buy the Kids Keen sandals for my son (age 7) to wear to summer camp. They wear like tennis shoes, but are sandals and let their feet breathe. I was very impressed with how well they held up and highly recommend them to anyone.

My kids have worn Keen Sport sandals for the past three years. We love them and these are just as great as the previous pairs that we have worn. Love the addition of the velcro. Makes getting on and off muck easier.

These are great sandals for my 8 year old son. I've heard no complaints. He likes the style and the comfort. I'd recommend these to others.

We are currently living in a year-round summer climate. I bought these Keen sandals a year ago for the kids to wear with their school uniforms. They by far out performed every other shoe my boys wear. Including their sport shoes, which they wear far less frequently. They are durable, look great and most importantly, the last! These shoes endured a 5-week summer vacation, which included hiking the Grand Canyon, Disneyland, and much more. Then school started and they are still going. The kids have nearly outgrown their current pair, but for the price, these don't get any better.
