Mrs. I bought these sandals for my son's 5th birthday, he really likes them. I really like that they have a closed toe, little boys seem to be so rough! But still with the closed toe, they still look like a sandal and will be cool on hot days. He can even get them wet!

Awesome kid’s shoe - My boys love these, easy to put on and take off. Comfortable (wore them walking miles at Disneyworld). Great look!!

Just a word about Zappos customer service with regard to this shoe. My son's almost a size 1 1/2, I ordered the 1, and it seemed a bit small. Called the 1-800 number on here, and they are sending me a 2, and letting me keep the 1 until I get it. Very convenient for me and the agent was super nice about it. I will probably even get it in 2 days for nothing extra. I love Zappos,

Disappointed in the quality of this year's Keen. This is the 3rd summer I have purchased this shoe and have always been pleased with their product. I had a myriad of issues with this shoe with both of my children. The buckle came not sewn on one and the sole was coming unglued after only about 3 months of wear. Keen claims to have rugged shoes and this was not up to snuff. I will, however, purchase Keens next year in hopes they've improved.

These didn't work out terribly well for us. They look good and are nice color, with a sporty style. But they're made from a stiff material (not fabric like some Keen shoes) that gave my son blisters. They also have developed a very strong and offensive odor that I imagine can only get worse over the summer.

Our family loves the quality of Keen sandals and shoes. However, this particular style did not hold up for a month. The cushioned footbed started to separate from the harder outsole on both heels! Very disappointing. Thanks Zappos for having an easy return policy!

I have been buying Keens for my 2 boys since they were toddlers, now they are 9 & 11. These are the absolutely most durable and versatile shoe on the planet for children! Because of how they fit, I've always bought them a size they could grow with for a while and have been able to get at least 2 summers out of every pair except 1 (my youngest was just to close to the size and went through to big a jump from last year...) One of the best things about these shoes is how they can go from creek, to mud, to camping, to riding bikes, to swimming in the lake, to walking through the amusement park, to playing kick ball, to hiking in the woods and still look good enough to wear to church after 2 years. Other than a little fray on the nylon styles (and by fray, I mean that fuzzy look nylon gets from being worn) after throwing them in the wash they come out looking almost new!!! One last point to make... It doesn't matter if your child has a wide foot or a narrow foot (I have one of each in my boys), because of how the upper completely surrounds the foot and the bungee cord adjustment, these shoes can be adjusted to fit comfortably. Even always buying a size that was a little to big, I've never had to deal with either of my boys getting blisters, and that includes right from the first day they came out of the box! Bottom line, Keen Newports are in my opinion simply the best children's shoe that can be worn from spring through fall for every single activity your child could possible want to engage in!

I've been buying this shoe since my son was 1 years old. He's 7 years now. Color wet sand goes with everything. He wears it in/out of the water. They clean up very well and dry quick. I love Keen sandals because of the toe coverage. Forever a fan!

Great shoe for kids to wear to camp. Very well made, waterproof, indestructible. And my son says they are very comfortable. Love them!

My mother always said, "Take Care of Your Feet Because They Carry You Everywhere." These shoes are the best I have come across and my little girl loves hers! We live where there is a lot of Lava Rock which easily will slice your foot open and these shoes hold up great. Excellent quality.

These are by and large the most durable shoes I have ever purchased for my boys. Your kids will either outgrow them or lose them but will not wear them out. My oldest son just outgrew his and I now have 2 pairs waiting for my younger son to wear, he lost one of his keens swimming recently. I usually buy the black pair and it is the material these are constructed from that make them so durable, more so than the fabric ones. We hike, bike, climb and virtually do everything in these. I wish all kids shoes were made this well.

Zappos provided fast service and a great pair of shoes my kids love them! What else needs to be said? Zappos rocks!

My sons love these shoes. They have been wearing them all summer! We hose them off when they get dirty and they still look great!

I ordered these prior to a trip where I was going to be walking long hours for several days. They arrived within 5-7 days of ordering and felt great on those long walks. I highly recommend these sandals - especially since they are waterproof as well.

Everybody loves Keens...this shoe is no exception! It is comfortable and suits my needs: walking/waterproof. Good purchase (I am a woman's size 7-ish but found that the youth size fits fine)!

I bought these for my 9 year old son to wear all summer. He has had them a month and loved them from the first day. They look great and so far wear well. No shoe/foot odor issues. Just wish they were less expensive.

These were great shoes while they lasted. I love that they protect the kids' feet, and are easy to hose off when they get dirty. I love the protection so much that I put up with the stench that they get as the summer goes on. (Washing helps, but wow do they get stinky!). The reason I am giving these only one star is that I purchased two pairs this season and both pairs have broken to the point of being unwearable. The leather piece that holds the plastic loop on cracked and broke all the way open, which makes it impossible to fasten the shoe. The other pair I purchased also broke, this time the plastic ring cracked and now the shoe can not be fastened. I would hope that buying higher quality shoes for my kids, they would at least last a few months. I'll be looking for a more durable solution for next summer, hopefully find something that can make it through a season!
