I wear a medium and a small fit perfect.

I bought a couple of these about two years ago, and just purchased three more a few days ago. The fabric is soft, comfortable, and sturdy, but doesn't wrinkle. You can cram these in a suitcase or a backpack and they emerge looking great. They dry quickly. I like the button-down collar - actually a key feature for me. I've worn them canoeing, fishing, hiking, backpacking, and just for everyday. I took a couple canoeing in the Canadian wilderness (Quetico Provincial Park) and my buddies hassled me for bringing a "dress shirt" - it looked that good after being crammed in a pack for days. My comment concerning fit is based on a size small, which fits me great in the shoulders, but could be a little smaller in the body.

I am a victim of an explosion and major burn victim. The Men's Tamiami II Long Sleeve Shirt allows me to be in the Florida sun with minimal discomfort. The shirt wicks of body moisture in a way that acts to cool my skin. With the shirt I can stay in the sun a couple of hours, with a regular shirt I can only stay an hour or less. My burn doctor recommended the shirt, I now oun 7 of the shirts in various colors. Thank you for designing a sun shielding shirt that works so well!

I just purchased my third color in this exact same shirt from the Columbia PFG series. I love the fit and look of these shirts. In fact, I love everything about them. I wear them for a great deal of fishing throughout the year but this shirt is so versatile I find myself wearing them for a casual night out and even for a casual day at the office.

I absolutely love these shirts. They are super lightweight, cool, and comfortable. With all the time I spend on the water chasing largemouth and striped bass, I have become very aware of the dangers of sun exposure. Wearing these shirts, I can keep them buttoned under the hottest sun without boiling alive. I have yet to find one negative aspect of this line of shirts. It is a non-negotioable for the kayak fisherman. Besides fishing, it doubles as great beach wear or casual wear.

I bought this shirt to use as a work shirt in the desert of Southern California. What I have learned is that I will wear this shirt wherever I am fishing in Michigan or hiking through the California desert. This shirt breaths very well in hot conditions over 100 degrees. It also dries fast to keep you cool and comfortable, and is incredibly durable. I will likely buy several more of this shirt going forward.

Have worn Columbia gear for years . Especially like the lightweight shirts for travel .I can put documents, cameras etc in the pockets . In addition the shirts are dressy enough to wear for dinner and don't wrinkle when packed. A good value product

I'm an avid saltwater fly fisherman--tarpon, bonefish, permit, etc and I appreciate good fishing style shirts. These shirts have several features that set them apart. They are extremely light weight and thin keeping you cool and dry, and they have lots of great functional pockets for your stuff. Most of all, I love the semi-stretchy fabric, which is unique to the Tamiami II, leaving you with a free and unrestricted feeling. They come in tons of cool colors too. I wear these shirts all the time, not just fishing. I don't always wear fishing shirts, but when I do, I prefer my Tamiami IIs.

If you work in the field or in a greenhouse this is the shirt for you.

This shirt is very comfortable in the summer heat. It wears well and protects one whether working in the yard or fishing in the tropical sun. I have two so I'm "covered" for all my outdoor activities. I live in Hawaii half the year and my Tamiami shirts get a real workout on the water and on the beach. The fit is slightly oversize. I normally wear large in all my shirts, but Columbia's medium is a perfect fit for my broad shoulders. "Uncle" Billy

This is the second shirt of this type I have purchased. It is very comfortable in a wide range of temperatures. Fells good. When wearing the shirt I have received several good compilments about its looks. It comes in a wide range of colors and I will be purchasing another 1 or 2 in other colors.

I travel all over the world and usually find myself in hot, tropical climates. I have owned many similar quick dry shirts in the past, but this is now my new favorite. It is the most comfortable shirt I have ever bought. Since purchasing this shirt I have bought 4 more in different colors and they are the only shirts I wear in the heat. I usually never right reviews, but couldn't resist a chance to praise this shirt.

Love this shirt. I have been looking for a good everyday summer shirt for a long time and finally found it. Looks great, quality is excellent, and keeps me cool in the hot weather. It is also nice enought to wear out at night for dinner or drinks.. Great color selections. I now have 5 of them!

This is a wonderful all-around shirt. I wear it at home over a tee-shirt for those not-quite-warm enough mornings. It is also my go-to shirt on camping trips. It's perfect for keeping the mosquitos off without being too heavy. I like the many colors available. No wonder I have 4 of them!

Like the loose fit and the sun shading properties. It will be used during a Bermuda to Annapolis boat delievery in mid June.

I own a bunch of Columbia shirts and this is a favorite. The material is very lightweight and thin but still durable. It is soft and extremely comfortable, and the fit is generous without being too baggy (unlike Columbia's Bonehead shirts, for example, which are cut a bit larger than I would prefer). You can't see it in the pictures, but it has a very subtle small box-checked texture that looks really nice. The Tamiami II also comes in a great variety of colors (my favorites being Tidewater blue, Iris Glow purple, and Autumn Orange, which are past years' colors). Like many others, after buying one of these I quickly added several more and have come to wear them almost all the time. They are perfect for hot weather given the light weight and quick drying properties, along with the shoulder vents on the back for added ventilation, though they'll also handle moderately cool weather too. These things are so versatile too - they look great fishing, in a casual business environment, out on the town, etc. Wear them with jeans, khakis, convertible hiking/fishing pants, etc. They work with long pants or with shorts, with the roll up sleeves giving them an even more casual flair. Nothing bad to say about these, other than the fact that if you buy one you will want more!
