In the Texas heat this shirt is amazing! At first it seems really hot in your skin; however, once your skin adapts the breathability is really useful. The only problem is that when mowing my yard the shirts were stained. The stains will not comeout, and since I had the light blue and orange they are very visible. I work them hard though!

This shirt works! It keeps the tropical sun off and the wearer cool in 80F temperatures, tropical winds and humidity such that one could see the ocean sky horizon. Surprised and pleased that the Gulf Stream color matches the ocean.

Very cool to wear. Only wish there were more dark color options.

It is a very relaxed and comfortable shirt. It breathes very well and is light. It is great for doing anything really.

Bare-non the best fishing shirt on the market.

Very light weight shirt, very nice styling, perfect for hot weather or tropics, and great shirt near water. If you prefer heavier fabric, this is not the shirt for you.

When it comes to technical clothing I have always been very particular, if not snobbish. I know that every line of clothing has some piece of clothing or gear that rises to the top. That being said I have never been a huge Columbia fan - until now. I work on a film crew and a number of locations are hot and humid. On a recent extended cross country documentary shoot I asked a colleague what he wore in humid environments. He highly recommended the Columbia PFG shirts. I bought two Tamiami II L/S shirts and after a week of wearing them on location I immediately bought two more. That is how much I like them. I do location audio recording and these are the best shirts that truly ventilate in extreme heat and humidity. For all you sound guys who wear audio harnesses for your audio bag, the Tamiami has two vertical vents on the sides of the back panel. Your audio harness runs down the center of your back holding most of the center part of the back panel down, but the side vents do exactly what they are intended to do - provide ample ventilation. Even when I was soaked in sweat typically the shirt would dry off in 15 minutes or less once I moved into the shade, inside a vehicle or indoors. I prefer the Tamiami II over all the other PFG shirts because of the thinner material, fast dry time and the two vertical back vents. Even the long sleeves are very cool in summer and prevent direct exposure from the sun. Half the time I wore the long sleeves extended, the other half I rolled the sleeves up. Another plus for the PFG series is that they are easy to launder on the road. Even if you hand wash them and hang them to dry they air dry quickly. This is one of the few articles of clothing that makes me comfortable on location and any degree of comfort makes my job easier. I cannot recommend this shirt enough. I plan on adding several more to the ones that I already have.

This was a gift for my son and I had is sent directly to him. He loved it especially because it has and SPF of 40.

My husband hates suntan lotion; however, he has discovered he can no longer continue to get sunburned over and over. He was worried the shirt would be too hot AND hamper his movements. I had him try it anyway. He LOVED this shirt -- lightweight enough not to hamper the activity (paddling and fishing) and SPF enough to keep him from getting sunburned. Thank you!

I bought this for my husband in Jupiter (a bright coral color). He wears it frequently (and once also for fishing). He now has a blue shirt in the same style to add to his wardrobe. He likes the comfort, adjustable sleeve length, and easy wash/dry for traveling.

I have several of these shirts and they are among my favorites! They breathe well, shed water easily, dry out quickly if they get wet, and wear very comfortably! I always recommend them to men and women alike for quality wear.

This is my 3rd PFG shirt. They are comfortable and functional shirts in warm weather. They keep me cool and dry. As typical with all Columbia shirts, they run large. Typically I wear Large, but a Medium fits me well.

This shirt is super comfortable! Very nice in the summer, made of thin material and soft. Very comfortable to wear and protects from the sun, I love it

One in a line of Columbia shirts I own and use fishing at the NC Coast. Cool but keeps the sun off. Easy to clean

Bought this shirt for my angling and fashion-forward son (age 13). He normally wears a Medium in men's t-shirts and this XS shirt fits him well - so size down! The material is heavenly soft and light - and it is a gorgeously-made shirt. My only concern (with a 13 year old) is that we bought the white one...so sigh for me on all the times I will have to wash this one! Would recommend purchasing this shirt to others.

Hi, I need to change some shirts size XL size L, BUT I DO NOT HAVE THE FORM OF RETURN

Seems to run a bit large,but it is a beautiful shirt I have several in short sleeve and they are great,well made and comfortable as are the long sleeve shirt. Got the long sleeve shirts for my son for Christmas and he loves them too.

This shirt is very versatile and comfortable. Love the way the sleeves roll up for Summer heat. So far my favorite shirt.

I have had several of the all cotton Columbia Shirts and never thought I would change, but I was given one of these by my son and daughter-in-law and now I am acquiring more of them... Love the pockets(I'm an Architect with lots of pens/pencils - yes a nerd). I also love that they do not wrinkle - great for meeting with clients out at sites.

We first saw this shirt on a man in a crowd. Both my husband and I noticed that this man looked "well dressed" and classy. I got close enough to him to see the PFG label on his shirt. I googled it and found that it was a Columbia product. We ordered the shirt immediately. My husband looks great in this shirt and even on hot, muggy days stays cool and comfortable and always looks fresh. We have now decided to order the same shirt in different colors. Couldn't be happier.

Great value for an amazing quality shirt. Don't hesitate on this one. BTW I wear xxl in most brands but an xlt in this shirt fits perfectly.

The material this shirt is made out of make it very light and comfortable to wear year round. Pockets are great, too.

I currently own 4 of these shirts in different colors. They are super cool (temperature-wise), lightweight, and blood and other stains rinse right off so they are ideal for fishing. They are also very nice looking, I have 2 I use for fishing and 2 I wear as a nice button down for dinners and dates. I am tall and skinny, 5'11" and 145 pounds, and I find these shirts run a size large. I usually wear a medium T-shirt but in these button downs I wear a small and it is the perfect fit.

Perfect for travel and protection from the sun. As a photography guide I spend a lot of time in the sun, I also travel a lot. The Tamiami wrinkles very little and can be worn right of a suitcase after a trans continental flight. I recently arrived to Italy and had something to wear while ironing the rest of my older guide shirts. I am ordering more as we speak.
