These shorts are great. I have a skort by Royal Robbins made of the same material that I love, and these haven't let me down! The color is nice too - goes with a lot. I'm 5'9" and normally wear a 10 in pants. I went ahead and ordered a 10 and 12 to be sure, and the 10 fit great.

These are great shorts - very comfortable and true to size. They're versatile enough to wear hiking in the woods or just walking through the neighborhood. I love the Royal Robbins brand and have also bought several of their shirts.

These are my go to shorts. They are equally great when trekking as well as dressing up. They dry in a minute and are indestructible. I have multiple pairs because I love them so!

Very flattering fit. I wear a 14 in other brands but the 12 fits me perfectly. Comfortable yet my "dress shorts". I have them in two other colors.

They fit just like in the photo – oversized, low waisted, kind of defiantly frumpy. I have several pairs from past years which are comfortable, cooling, and have held up brilliantly.

I don’t love the seam down the front of the shorts, but otherwise they were comfortable and just the right length for me. Based on other reviews I had initially sized up, but returned them for my regular size, which was the right fit.

The Royal Robbins clothing tends to run larger in the waist than Columbia so even the smallest size xs was too wide in the waist. Love the quality and style, if they would have a xxs I would kept.

These shorts have been redesigned several times over the years. On this version, the pocket openings pass right over the widest part of my hips and pop out. Not flattering. Still as comfortable as always!

I have these same shorts in the green color and they fit perfectly. These are super tight in the legs - only difference is the color!
