Go a size larger on these shorts especially if you're muscular built. I only gave a one star on overall & comfort because I could barely put the shorts past my thighs.

Fit was true to size, I ordered a size 6. The material is great inside and out and very comfortable. Well made and washes well.

I bought a pair of this "same" short YEARS ago. I was not sure it these would fit the same, but I ordered the same size. Happy to report that I now have the short in 'falcon' and 'black'. The fabric and styling was a bit different, but the fit is the same. It is a slim, modern fit. This is a great all-around short. From outdoor activities to simple summer lounging, a good travel piece. Sometimes these outdoor products are 'frumpy', but this item is not frumpy at all.

I like these shorts, they fit well, material is good for hot weather and travel.

I LOVE these shorts! Length is perfect and the material is nice. It's hard for me to find shorts that don't look dorky on me, and these fit the bill. For reference, I am 5'6", weigh 148 pounds and got size 10. They are a tad loose but that's what I wanted. The 8 was too tight.

Fit is fine and sizing is accurate. Nice black bermuda shorts that will work for casual outing sas well as hiking the trails.

Best shorts I've ever had. I bought some of these same shorts several years ago and loved them so much. I just bout the same ones in 2 different colors. I feel like the fit is perfect to size.

These shorts can go anywhere! I put them on and to be honest I wore them over and over for a few days! I like that I can dress them up or down...Great for outdoors but can easily be dressed up too. Wonderful fabric and fit.

These are perfectly nice walking shorts. The fabric has a bit of that feel that spf-type clothing has, but not overly so, and it doesn't seem to make any weird noises when you walk. If you are between sizes, I would recommend sizing up.

These shorts are extremely comfortable and light weight. Great for warm weather activities. It's a modest length, right above the knee. I'm normally a size 6 or 8. I purchased the 8 because of other reviews and I own other Royal Robbins clothing at a size 8. They fit perfect. I wear them for golf and found them to be versatile for all kinds of activities.

I love these shorts and have several in a variety of colors. The fit is true and they are great for travel.

I received a pair of these shorts a few years ago as a gift and love them. I tracked down the style here at Zappos and have since told several others how great my experience was. These shorts are the most comfortable and stylish shorts I've ever had. I had to exchange them for size...and Zappos made the whole experience "fun"! love these shorts! the length is perfect for those of us who don't want to show our fuller thighs :) They dry so quickly. Perfect for any type of activity. I wear these when white water rafting, hiking and everyday wear. Run true to size.

I'm 55, 5'10' 152 lbs the size 10 fit great. Very comfortable too. Excellent for travel.

I love these shorts and now have two pairs. I had a cast on one foot and needed some shorts with wide legs that I could get on over the cast. They worked perfectly. They're very comfortable, wash and dry easily, and cover up any thigh issues you may have.

I found these to be extremely comfortable to walk in, to hike in and they are NOT short for my age group of 60. I have three pair and they are NOT low waisted. Thank you Royal Robbins. Very comfortable.
