Classic look, unfortunately a classic feel with little to no support or comfort to them.

Nice, comfortable shoes. I wear them almost daily and I have no complaint yet. The upper is part suede and part fabric but no smelly feet. For their price, quality and comfort are very good.

There is something about the left shoe that is incredibly uncomfortable. I can only walk about 4 miles before I can't take it any more. I thought it was the insert, so I replaced it with some Dr. Scholl's ones and somehow it is still an issue. It's like having a lump in the middle of the shoe pressing on your outer arch. I think I'm giving up on them, and I've only worn them a dozen times.

Comfortable but impossible to keep clean maybe nobody else has experienced this but every time I wore them the dirtier they would look!

I bought a pair of these elsewhere because they were a better deal, but I felt I'd post a review here. When I first got these I thought they were fantastic, but over the first week I wore them all they did was hurt my feet, my knees and my back. I was in such pain I wanted to throw them out and buy something else. Out of the box they have absolutely no support and aren't the slightest bit comfortable. I couldn't wear them to do simple errands or even go over to a friend's place. Thankfully I followed a previous review's advice and bought a pair of green Superfeet for them, and so far at least they're much better. That said, the look, style and materials are just fine. I just wish I'd known I'd have to buy insoles for them or I wouldn't have bothered. After this I'm staying away from the entire New Balance "classics" line and looking at something else.

I wear orthotics. They depend on the sole and, to some extent, the sidewalls of the shoe for support. These shoes have the least support for them of any footwear I have ever worn and are extremely uncomfortable. I wish Zappos would provide in their online catalog a fuller description of the support characteristics of the shoes they offer.

I have always been satisfied by the quality of New Balance shoes until I purchased these. Advertised as walking shoes, but after spending a day at work walking in them (retail job equals lots of walking), my feet feel like two bloody stumps. The insoles are a joke. Even after replacing them with a set of Dr. Scholl's comfort gel insoles, these walking shoes still lack the cushioning required to be comfortable. My advice: buy something else if you are looking for a good walking shoe.

Zero arch support. None. Converse All-Stars have more arch support. Heck, the I35W Mississippi Bridge in Minneapolis had better support.

These have got to be the worst pair of running shoes I ever purchased in my lifetime. Absolutely no support, the inserts in these sneaks were so thin, it was like wearing no sneaks at all. I would not even want to walk in these.

I’d buy again

These are my favorite sneakers ever. So light and comfortable. Like 574, but lighter. I wear these with just a little extra insole for padding and I can hike 10 miles in em. I WISH ZAPPOS CARRIED SOME COLORS OTHER THAN DRAB GRAY. I guess I'll search elsewhere for my next pair so I can have at least a little color on my sneaks.

My grown son loved these shoes for the look, price and comfort. We LOVE the return policy that Zappos offers too. It makes the difference in where we shop.

Great shoes, I wear them all day, comfortable right off the bat, no break in required. Would definitely recommend.

New Balance is one of the few sport shoe companies that provides the wide (2E) size that I require. The previous pair I owned of the same style lasted many years so I expect the same of these.

Zappos.com delivered promptly and I really like New Balance shoes, but: I do think I'll go with another model next time though. The soles & support don't absorb much shock. I will wear these out in a few months & get a pricier pair next time.

These shoes are light and comfortable. They replaced a pair I had before that I wore every day in college until I wore out the soles.

First of all, the fact that they sell this shoe in a size 15 Narrow is amazing. 5/5 for that alone. The fact that the shoe is also incredibly comfortable and looks pretty great is a solid plus. I find the silver section on the top part of the heel to be a little bit odd, but other than that the looks are fine. I'll be buying this again once I break these shoes!

My order was not delivered as schedule through the fault of the delivery firm. I called customer service, explained the problem and they shipped another pair overnight air. I can't say enough about the folks I spoke with and the shoes were as described on their web site. Great company.

I was looking for a casual and comfortable shoe that wasn't too expensive or colorful. New Balances are great because most of their shoes also come in EE width.

My husband will only wear this tennis shoe and I love ordering from Zappos. They are the best. Free shipping both ways therefore, never afraid to order new product from them.

I was looking for a low profile sneaker and couldn't find a color combination that suited me. But I was shopping for women's shoes. When I started looking at what men's shoes had to offer I found exactly what I was looking for! I wear a 10 in women's and according to Zappos I needed an 8.5 in men's - perfect!

Customer service was as friendly and helpful as they came. The original size I ordered was a little too big (I ordered the wrong size), and they returned it immediately and sent the correct size.

These shoes are great if you have wider feet and are very lightweight. Classic look, which is what I like. Very comfortable.
