I love New Balance shoes. I've been wearing them for years and have never had anything but a comfortable, reasonably long-wearing shoe. But I love Zappos even more. There's never a question or problem about returns, which means, in effect, that you can try shoes on in your own home, wear them around the house and send them back, in the same box they came in, prepaid, if you're not entirely happy with them.

I got the red/black color combination. Note: in person the red on these shoes is a brick red. Not the bright red/orange shown in the picture on this site. They look great anyway. The length is the same as my M574s that I have, but the width is narrower. My feet are on the narrow side so I consider the M574s to be a wide shoe, and these M373 to be average width. Free overnight shipping from Zappos is great! If you are looking for size comparisons, I wear a 9 1/2 in these and my Nike running shoes are a 10.

Comfortable shoes when changed out with memory foam insoles. I say this only because I am flat footed and wear a 13, so you may not need them. Good for walking, working out, not running. Run a little snug, but after wearing for a week or so they break in good. I always switch out the insoles on all my New Balance Classics as I would recommend to anyone just because they don't offer a lot of support if you need it. I own the gray/green ones and they go well with just about anything. If you like these then check out the U455 for a wider fit and more color selection.

I bought the grey/green color combo. They fit very nice and are some of the best shoes (value) that I own. They can walk all day long.

I have been a long term purchaser of NB M996 shoes (a good running shoe as well non-gaudy enough for casual wear), which is the most comfortable shoe from time zero I ever wore. Unfortunately, NB in their questionable wisdom discontinued that model and replaced with some more expensive and less comfortable versions. I have been looking for something to replace my well worn 996s (I still have a couple pairs squirreled away) so I took a chance on the M373. Well it is not quite as comfortable as 996, but felt close enough that I immediately ordered a second pair (the 2nd of 3 pairs of 12 1/2's in stock). I am pleased with Zappos free shipping policy and fast service. Kudos to Zappos. I still have my eye out for 996s!

Pretty comfortable, with a nice balance between trendy and traditional. They run a tiny bit big but it hasn\'t been a problem in terms of comfort.

I wear these shoes for walking and standing, not running. I have slightly wider than average feet, and not very prominent arches. The M373's are among the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I think the sizing is fairly accurate, also. They are a perfect weight, not feather-light, but just about right. I use green Super Feet insoles, which are a considerable improvement over the stock ones. I am on my second pair of 373's. My previous ones wore out after about 6 months of nearly everyday use, which I consider to a be better than average life span. I will be buying several extra pair of these guys in case they are discontinued.

Overall, this is a great shoe. It's ultra-light and well, cool to look at. I got the red/black ones over the black/white ones because it looks more appealing personally. I do have to warn people that have wider feet to get the 574s over the 373s due to the 373s having a much narrower fit. Since I don't really have wide feet this shoe was very comfortable. On a side note, I really appreciate the service of Zappos.com in making the purchasing online friendly and efficient.

These shoes are great. I\'m really impressed with the style, I think they look even better in person than in the photos here. Very comfortable for everyday use and I\'ve gotten several compliments on them as well. I\'m very satisfied, no complaints!

These are great shoes! My husband walks several blocks to and from work in NYC. These shoes have been great. The extra padding in the sole is a big help to him. I love the New Balance brand.
