The shoes fit well and are comfortable. There is never a pretty style in this type of shoe. It reminds me of snowshoes but it works so I can't ask more than that.

These shoes were recommended by the pedorthist. When wearing them my knee pain diminishes, and I am able to stand for long periods without knee swelling.

I usually wear a narrow but now use an orthotic so needed a wide. My local NB store doesn't stock wides so I ordered from Zappos. They came quickly, and I've been enjoying them since. A great purchase for me.

I especially like the lightness of the shoe, but the arch was not sufficient at all.

These are well-made, comfortable shoes made in the USA. They can be thrown in the washing machine & come out like new! New buyers should be aware that they'll typically need 1/2 size larger than other shoes.

I\'ve been wearing NB shoes for years and these are their usual great quality. Very comfortable, great fit. Wish it came in something other than white.

Very comfortable shoes. The toe box is very wide, so when I tried on my usual size 8, they felt too big. I reordered in a size 7-1\/2, and these are perfect. I love them.

I have been buying this sneaker before it's model number was 880. Before that I could never walk/run without some kind of problem arising. Since I started buying these I have had no trouble and can walk for miles upon miles. I do wish that the back of the shoe was lower as it was in earlier models. The high padding in the back can rub causing blisters. Other than that they are perfect for my very wide, high instep feet. Have to say that I hate the new color, it's way to bright.

These shoes are great! They are the direct replacement for the discontinued 882 (though these are prettier). Also, they are well ventilated!

Shoe is as advertised and easily accommodates my custom orthotic. It is a bit wider in the toe than I\'d like, but I have a very narrow foot and it would be fine for most people. \r\n\r\nZappos is great with customer service and is unsurpassed with prompt, free shipping.

These are AWESOME! They are so comfortable and fit my orthotics really well. My feet can be killing me and I put these on and they immediately feel so much better!

I love these shoes. I have very wide feet with a high arch and instep. The width is perfect and gives my toes room to wiggle. The laces are a great innovation; they are bumpy so they never loosen up like the round laces can. I wear a custom insert and it fits nicely inside these shoes. With a high arch you would need an insert. I hike a lot and my feet are very secure in these shoes. I like the different lacing options New Balance has online.

These shoes have been a life saver! Somewhat drastic for a shoe, I know, but true. Before finding these shoes I was in constant pain due to a tailor’s bunion on the outside of my left foot because I’m ever so slightly club-footed. After trying everything to relieve the pain and pressure short of major surgery, I found these shoes and decided to give them a try despite the $110 price tag. The minute I put them on I knew I had found the shoe for me. After about 3 weeks of wear, the pain in my foot has subsided and I can walk comfortably. Good news for a nurse! I also wear these to step aerobics where their lightness comes in handy. I hope I never have to be without these shoes, even if I have to buy a pair every month.

I love these shoes: lightweight, excellent arch support and very roomy toe box. I have been ordering up a size in New Balance, but had to return these for my "normal" size.

I have plantar fasciitis as well as fallen arches and overpronation. This along with a wide forefoot and narrow heel makes it difficult to find a comfortable pair of shoes that look half way decent. (I am in my 30's and before my foot problems wore fashionable shoes.) These shoes have worked out for me thus far, wearing them about every other day this month. Many New Balance shoes seem to have a short toe box requiring me to purchase a half size larger than normal but not these shoes. The toe box is long enough so you can buy your reg. size. I was also able to buy the reg width - some shoes I need to go with the wide. They are not so comfortable that my feet don't hurt at the end of the day wearing them, but they are much better than any other shoes that I have tried recently. I wear size 11 and my feet actually look smaller with these shoes - wonderful! I do recommend them. Zappos, as always, is also the only place to buy shoes!!

Very lightweight, comfortable shoe. I wear an 11 1/2 and my daughter said it makes my foot look smaller. A welcome compliment!

This is my 1st pair of NB. I absolutely love them. I have the worst time finding a pair of shoes that I can wear all day long. Years of problem feet. These shoes have plenty of room in the toe area. The laces stay securely tied while walking. There was absolutely no breaking in period, lots of cushioning. I will definitely purchase another pair of these when they wear out. They were true to size for me. They are not the best looking shoe, but they serve their purpose.

Excellent service, ordered online Sunday evening and my purchase showed up the second day without any extra charges. Thank you Zappos. The lightweight shoes are so comfortable, I walked two miles to break them in. They are now my daily walking/exercise shoes and will need to buy a second pair for backup. I highly recommend NB WR883 anytime.

I just received my new balance in a 9 wide. Way too big!!! I had to also go a half size down so I went with the 8.5 W and way better fit!!! They are very comfy and I like how stylish they are. Also Zappos was wonderful about returning! I was reluctant that it would take forever to get a 8.5 sent to me, but it was no problem and I received them within a few days. The shoe does squeak a little but I'm keeping them. I can live with that squeak for a comfortable and stylish walking/running shoe! :)

This shoe is perfect for wide feet. The toe box is very wide. I ordered a size 10W (my usual size) and it is a little too big. A 9 1/2W would have probably fit better. Overall, I love the shoe and will be order the same one in the future.

Zappos, you rock. I am so glad you have these shoes because you are the best online company out there. It's almost scary how fast your shoes arrive! The 883 is a fantastic shoe for people with wide toes and narrow heels. The shoe is made on the SL2 last. I wish New Balance would make a few more shoes on this last -tennis, cross-training, walking, hiking, etc.!
