I was looking for a shoe for walking for 3+ weeks in Europe. I knew I would be walking on cobblestones in Turkey and Greece. I purchased this shoe, the Privo Skite and the Naturalizer Mediate. This was by far the most comfortable for me. I liked the looks of the Skite the best, however. I ended up getting a Go-Lite Travel Lite on sale and it had the look I wanted plus the comfort. This shoe did rub my little toe a little, no rubbing with the Go-Lite. I am a Zappos fan; have gotten my hubby hooked, too!

The velcro is weak and I\'ve had to replace shoes after wearing them a short while because the velcro just collapsed over time. \r\nThis shoe has minimal arch support.

Great Shoe! Bought them and wore them the next day for vacation. Wore them every day with a light sock - the 5 days leading up to my 1st 1/2 marathon! My feet love the shoe! My only wish is that they velcroed a little tighter. My foot has become narrow with a 55 lb weight loss! The shoe looks great with pants and skirts!

This shoe felt too short to me. I am generally a true 7 1/2, and sometimes even wear a 7. My toes were touching the front of this shoe in the 7 1/2. It also slipped on my heel, even after tightening the strap, but I have very narrow heels so that isn’t unusual. I also thought it looked too "clunky" on my foot. The search for a cute, comfy walking shoe continues...

Shoes are so cute. They felt comfortable, but I just couldn't find the right size. 9 and 9 1/2 were big and my heel slid in and out of the shoe. 8 & 8 1/2 kept my foot in, but my toe touched and it was tight on my feet. Back to Merrells I go.

These shoes were immediately comfortable, both with and without socks. They kept my feet dry in warmer weather and keep my feet surprising warm in cool weather. But they don't do well in rain/standing water. I soaked them once and it took forever for them to dry. I went on a 3 hour hike over lava rocks in them with socks; no blisters and my feet were comfy the whole time!

Bought the shoes as I wanted a light weight hiking shoe for the summer months that could also be used as an everyday shoe for around town. Wanted a shoe that I could wear with or without socks. I really like the look of this shoe, immediately got compliments and one friend bought a pair. The size 8 of these shoes fit well without socks, even though my toes were at the tip. Decided to get a 8.5 so that I could wear socks with them and this size was great with socks, but too big to wear without socks. The heel of the shoe wears loose on me, even though it has a adjustable heel strap. The heel strap seems to be for more of a look than a practical function. Tightening it only made the heel pucker. Also, the purple material around the shoe that touches your skin is scratchy. Notice when I wore socks with the shoe, that this material picked up fuzz off the sock, had to pick this off the shoe material. One day got caught in a down pour and had to walk 1.5 miles to get to my car. Was wearing these shoes without socks and got blisters on both heels as I could not tighten the heel strap tight enough to keep the heel from slipping. Felt if the material was softer or smoother, it would not have caused the blisters. With that being said, these shoes really gripped the pavement and wet rocky trails. Despite the problem with the heel slippage, I am going to keep these shoes as I do like the look, the light weight, and the ability to wear them on different type terrain. Will buy heel inserts so that when I wear them without socks, I have a more secure heel fit.

I really wanted to love this shoe...and tried it out for a few weeks...but it just wasn't working out. I have a small and wide foot (a 5 or 5.5 wide is usually a good fit), so I ordered size 6. It was great overall except that my instep is high, so the velcro strap popped off a few times while walking. Then, there was the heel covering...that rubbed on my heel terribly and it was only tolerable with socks on (which is how I wore them most of the time). They would look cute with a skirt and no socks, but like I said, it rubbed my heel too much - even with the adjustable heel strap opened all the way. I can see how many love the shoe though. As an ER nurse, I am always looking for a nice slip on/velcro strapped sport shoe. Fortunately Zappos is awesome and I'll be able to return these shoes for free!

The toe box is small, and the inner sole is slippery, pushing the foot forward and jamming it into the front. It's a good design that needs tweaking. The size also feels at least a half size too small.

I was very disappointed in these shoes and should have sent them back but I decided to give them a try and am kicking myself now. I typed in "cushioning" for one of the search categories as that was what I needed for my back and these shoes came up. It was so important to me that I even did a live chat at Patagonia's web site and they said "Think tennis shoe, with Mary Jane style." Well, these shoes have little cushioning, nothing like a tennis shoe. It is really a shame since they are adorable and had so much potential. Just do not buy them if you need cushioning like athletic shoes.

Sigh, I have high arches, and the top area over the toes is too tight, so I'm returning.

These felt great on my feet, but the back strap's metal piece broke off with minimum pull tightening the back strap. I guess people complain so much about the back being too tight, that no one ever needs to actually tighten the thing to discover the fabric holding the metal is more like craft paper than sturdy shoe fabric.

I like the look of the Patagonia Kenoshas and ordered a 7.5 black and a 7.5 light blue. The black bit into my Achilles tendon (similar to other reviewers), but the blue did not. I'm keeping the blue and returning the black.

Comfortable shoe that orthotics would work with. Only down side was the elastic band at back of shoe dug into heel. Otherwise, would have been great. Nice color combo.

These shoes were great with one exception - the elastic band at the back of the shoe cut into my heel. Wish they would have fit since the toe box gave plenty of room.

Just like another reviewer on here, I had to return these because they dug into the back of my feet and would no doubt cause painful wearing away of skin. You'd think they would have made a better athletic shoe without this problematic issue.

The shoes felt okay when I first tried them on. But after wearing them for an entire day, they were not as comfortable as I had hoped. They rubbed the skin right off of my ankles. They're still too painful to wear even a few days later. Unfortunately, since I wore the shoes outside, Zappos won't allow me to return them. What a waste of money. Be careful before ordering these.
