These shoes are amazing! I can rarely wear most heels as there usually isn't enough padding in at the ball of my foot. If there is a pair of shoes I "just have to have" I will wear those pad inserts for heels, which always makes the shoe a bit tighter. I based my purchase on other reviewers who said that there was plenty of padding...and they were right! As far as the elastic goes (I was concerned based on reviews): it has the right amount of support and the shoe isn't tight on me and I don't have thin feet...probably more towards a wide foot! I wore them for about 1 hour today (on my hard tile floors) and have no complaints about the elastic or the padding. I'm glad that I purchased them! I'm looking forward to many special occasions without sore feet.

Due to Zappos wonderful free shipping and return policy, I was able to try quite a few shoes before keeping these. I needed a comfortable dressy shoe for a wedding in Las Vegas and I knew a lot of walking would follow. They have a lot of cushion for a dress shoe. The cushion runs the entire length of shoe, not just ball or heel. It has a decent arch support (I have high arches) and a nice size heel (not too tall). The stretchy straps didn't dig around ball of feet. They were a bit tight at the ankle to the point that when you moved them it left a mark. However, it didn't bother me nor did I notice it all night. We were in and out of a limo, so it was nice that the shoe didn't slip off either. This also made it nice for dancing. I anticipate wearing this shoe for many occasions to come!

Comfortable but shoe was not true to size. This shoe is great looking and very comfortable with a mid-size heel. I had to return it because it was not true to size. The shoe was truly a size 5 1/2 or 6 not a size 5 that I wear.

I never wear heels, I work in medical field and wear Skechers to keep my feet comfy. I bought these for a wedding and dreaded wearing heels, and tried these on, and totally comfortable for a 60 year old woman who isn't used to heels, and they still look chic! A+.

I bought this pair of shoes to be a staple in my summer wardrobe and it does exactly that. It is comfortable enough to wear all day, and keep on wearing into the evening. It is sexy like an ankle strap shoe. I have never worn it that I did not get compliments and inquiries as to where I got it.

I agree with everything the first of the 6 reviewers wrote. I just want to add that this is a great shoe for dressy slacks because the narrow back piece keeps your pants from getting caught under your heels as you walk, an issue I have if I try to wear slides or sandals with just an ankle strap & long slacks. Also, on the sizing, although the shoes run long, the extra length is in front for me so the shoes still fit fine. I didn't need to return them for a smaller size.

Great shoe. I was looking for something that was comfortable and looked good and that was chic. These fit my needs perfectly.

This sandal shoe looks exactly like pictured. I ordered size 8 and it was slightly big, but the straps keep the shoe very tightly in place so I wont exchange it for another size. I didn't wear them out yet, but they feel very comfy and this will be my day shoe in the summer. I gave it 4 stars because the straps are a little too tight, also I felt like this shoe made my feet look bigger, and also the price is a little too high for such simple shoes.

Vivanz Celine is a cute looking sandal. Classy and sleek with the right amount of lift. About the comfort level, Although the elastic made the shoe easy to put on and take off; it didn't support my feet in the shoes. When I walked, by feet would slip sideways or forward. Really not safe because you can twist your ankle! I have very narrow ankles and the elastic was snug on me.

The elastic felt that it would be too tight for comfort, so I returned them, even considering that my ankles are thin.

Very cute shoes, but very pricey for what you get. I wasn't impressed with the quality for the price, but will probably keep the shoes because I like the style and was looking for a relatively low heel, dressy shoe. The elastic straps make them very comfortable, although the heel slips a bit. If you're between sizes, I would suggest going down a size.

Perfect for my narrow feet!! No curling toes to keep these on. Wore them at a wedding from 3 pm to midnight and still comfy. I wear a 8 to 8.5 and the 8 was perfect.

My first time trying this brand. Very comfortable. The shoe actually has cushioning! After wearing them for a full day at work, I did have some black on the bottom of my foot from rub off from the sole, as others have noted. But, it wasn't bad, and came right off with a quick wipe down. I'm very pleased with these.

I needed a new pair of black strappy heels for going out on the town that met some specific criteria: 1) Cute and stylish 2) Not too high of a heel and able to be danced in and walked in for long distances 3) Not too expensive so if they got dirty or ruined after a night on the town I wouldn't be devastated Perfect pair!!!

They're attractive, all right, but the ankle straps provide NO STABILITY. If your feet are on the narrow side of medium and you're used to walking in slides with narrow high heels, you might like these. Otherwise skip them. My feet are size 11 and on the wide side of medium. I've worn and loved high-heeled slides for years. However, to me, these shoes are a broken ankle waiting to happen.

I have a hard time finding comfortable shoes that are stylish too. These are great! It is padded and the sole is rubber. They cover my foot nicely, and the straps are stretchy which helps to hold my foot. The heel is perfect height too! Very versatile shoe for any occasion. So happy I found these.

I bought these cute shoes based on an accurate review. They are very comfy with not too high of a heel and look cute with skirts or pants. The sole is lightly padded with suede-like fabric and the elastic straps are very comfortable. They are also light and will be easy to throw in a suitcase, which is what I'm planning to do!

Sexy and comfortable -- what a great combination. These fit true to size and width. In my size 8 (usual size), there is a bit of room at the toe, but I do not like having my toes hanging over the edge of a sandal so that is a plus. It's not a high heel which is why they are so comfortable, but gives the appearance of being one. I love these shoes so much I am going to get a back up pair. I wish they came in brown.

These shoes are cute and very comfortable. The instep is padded and easy to wear. The heel height is perfect for walking. Shoes are overall very wearable with jeans or dresses.

Very comfortable and stylish. Travels well as it packs in a small space. I was able to dance the night away at a very important formal event, LOVE. Always difficult to find a comfortable formal shoe that is stylish!

Comfy and stylish! These are some of the most comfortable heels I've ever owned! The elastic straps don't cut into your skin at all, and the footbed is nicely padded. I took other reviewers' advice and ordered smaller than my usual size (I'm 7.5, and I ordered 7), which was perfect. I think even a person who wears size 8 could get away with a 7 in this shoe - very roomy.
