Just bought these for a special occasion. Comfortable right out of the box. No problem with elastic straps. Even though the size is slightly larger than my measured foot, I have not issue with the shoe staying in place. I have a difficult foot to fit (size 4.5, D width) with Morton Neuromas and plantar fasciitis. I've been wearing them around the house to get comfortable wearing heels again (it' been years). So far so good! May have to add a cushion insert for the foot pad area but other than that I have no complaints. Thanks Zappos for letting try on so many shoes to find one that fits!

Awesome shoes! Based on previous reviews, especially from the lady that wore them in Vegas, I had to try them. I broke them in while in Vegas and my feet did not hurt at all. I wish they're were a half in higher, but other than then that, I highly recommend these shoes.

I love these shoes! I was looking for some cute, but comfortable heels for a trip to Las Vegas. I was hesitant to buy them because they are a bit spendier than I was comfortable with but then I read a previous review from someone else who had worn them in Vegas and had no problems walking in them, so I decided to give them a try. Not only did I walk, a lot, but I wore these three different nights on my trip and that included an all nighter of dancing in a crowded club! The footbed is cushy and soft. The straps were perfectly snug but didn't rub or irritate my feet. And I had no problems with slipping or sliding in these shoes.

I have terrible feet (Morton's neuroma) and rarely wear heels unless for funerals or at gunpoint. That said, these are the only heels I've been able to tolerate for more than an hour...and that's a stellar recommendation from me.

I bought these for my son's wedding, to wear with a long dress. I don't normally wear a heel this high because of plantar fasciitis, etc., but the built-in arch on the sole holds your foot and keeps it from sliding forward. I also like the kitten heel, which is further forward, giving more stability. The stretchy straps also help hold the foot in place.

Great shoe...simple but basic black sandal you can dress up or down. Leather foot bed with toe strap consisting of material on top & leather underneath for support and material elastic crisscrossed around the ankle. The back of the heel strap is leather. Comfortable with a not too high man made material heel. Now that I am older I have found my foot to be a size 7.5 through 8 depending on the brand of shoe. I initially ordered a size 8 but it was way too large so I ordered the 7 which fits perfect with a little toe space which I prefer. Exchanging the shoe for a different size was made easy by Zappos and I had the shoe within a day and in time for the event they were planned to be worn at.

Extremely comfortable shoes. Look great with a shorter pant as well as with dresses. Funky. I got lots of compliments at the holiday party when I wore these.

This a very attractive shoe and I so wanted it to work. However the shoe does not have enough support for my feet and I felt too unstable in them so am reluctantly returning

I have a very hard time wearing heels of any height. These shoes were very comfortable for an entire evening. The elastic straps make the shoe comfortable and yet supportive.

I'm not one to wear heals but need them occasionally for a fancy event. These are pretty comfortable (as heels go) and the silver matches with black and other colors. The stretchy straps actually feel good. I haven't worn them to an event yet as I bought them just to have on hand.

I have a very hard to fit foot...narrow in the front and heel but high arch. The elastic bands helped keep my foot in place but it is a very hard, uncomfortable shoe.

These are comfortable shoes that are attractive and fit well. The only issue is that the heel tends to slide off the back, not so badly that it makes it difficult to walk, I just have to realign the back vertical strap from time to time.

After a million shoes being sent by Zappos and sent back by me, these awesome shoes were the winner for me. I have extremely narrow feet and the least little thing rubs a blister everywhere...these fit perfectly, the elastic helps fit to my foot and no rubbing anywhere. They are very cute also. Thanks again for your patience Zappos.

Really cute. I love the plushy sole - but only in a shorter heel. Anything this high I wear pantyhose and this sole tugs at them and won't slip on. I tried without pantyhose and it was a great fit, but like I said...

Looks better off than on. I'm a size 9 and I could have used an 8 1/2. I have a wide foot and these were actually too wide. Plus, there was no arch support. My foot didn't lay right in these sandals. There was a huge void underneath.

Unfortunately, the stretchy straps were so stretchy that each time I took a step, they stretched and my foot slid around. I would have killed myself! I almost turned my ankle twice just trying them on. Very cute otherwise. My ankles are narrow so maybe that's why.

Cute. Seemed comfortable. I wear a size 9, but the size 9's I received were a half size too large. Unfortunately, they don't come in half sizes so I can't try the 8 and a half. Annoying.

Yes, the elastic straps and the cushioned footbed make this a comfortable shoe. But the sole is hard plastic and felt quite slippery, and the placement of the heel (a bit forward of where you typically expect it to be) made this shoe feel like an accident waiting to happen. I sent it back.

I love how these look on my feet, but I do not see how anyone could walk in them. there is no support with the stretchy fabric on the sides and back. The heel feels like it is too far forward. Unfortunately I have to return them.

Don't bother to waste this money! Wore the shoes once and the heel tip broke off. Now I cannot wear them at all. Cheaply, cheaply constructed. Out the money and the dress sandals.

These shoes are so poorly designed they are dangerous. The heel is set back (Kitten style) but the elastic doesn't secure your heel. They are super tippy!

I didn't even have to walk in this - I took one step and my heel came out of the shoe. The elastic would be comfortable, but it's too stretchy to keep my foot in!

Dreadful shoes. I could find nicer, more "expensive" looking sandals at Payless. The elastic straps look and feel cheap. Worse, the whole shoe feels unbalanced and wobbly. I'd be afraid to walk any distance in them. Definitely going to return these.
