I wanted to love these, but they arrived with the top stitching unraveling on one shoe. They would not have lasted a few miles. There is also a very strong chemical odor to these shoes.

These shoes are comfortable enough, but the top is not smooth and not very attractive. I am looking for a comfortable shoes to wear with slacks and these simply won't do.

Cute idea but very matronly. The cloth top of the shoe is elastic and unless you have a very wide foot, will gather around and look frumpy. Very Comfortable though.

Was disappointed as this shoe was not particularly comfortable (although not uncomfortable) and not attractive. The shoe fit loosely so when on my foot, it looks just like the photo with upturned toes and gathers around the top. They do smell bad upon arrival although that has dissipated.

The smell! WHY??

I have some identical AK shoes that have faux suede which I love and have beat up! I was really disappointed to find these are soft stretch fabric so you see all of your toes' shapes when you look down at your feet.

Too many gathers around elastic so does not fall or look nice. Have an earlier model of a similar shoe and was fantastic. They should make that model again!

Love the shoe, but the sizing is horrible. Returned 2 times to try and get the right fit. Ended up going a full size larger than normal and they still feel too tight. Every other shoe I have ever worn is a size 8 and I do not have wide feet. Really love the way the shoe looks, so thought if I wore it the whole day it would end up breaking in - didn't happen. At the end of the day my feet were killing me, I was grumpy, and now I'm stuck with shoes that don't fit comfortably. So hoping eventually they do get broken in.

Not as excited about this shoe as I expected to be from other reviews. The collar is elastic but doesn't expand enough to stretch out, so it looks gathered or puckery around the edge. I don't think a smaller size would make a difference because the shoe was almost tight in the length in the size I had on (7M).
