Two letters - P U! I purchased these shoes for my daughter and myself. We thought they were cute. The fit is true to size. However, they have the most awful smell about them-straight out of the box. It\'s a rubber type smell simply nauseating. Ithought the smell would wear off but it gets considerably worse as you wear them. They seem like the type of shoe that you can wear without socks but don\'t try it. Both my daughter and I had the same problem with the horrible odor. The smell actually permeated through the house. I will not buy this brand of shoe again. A considerable waste of money :( and big disappointment!

I loved these shoes. They were comfortable, great looking. Unfortunately they SMELLED horrible. I had read some other posts here that mentioned this, but thought I might be lucky. No way. Keen really goofed on this one. My whole house smelled like a toxic waste dump after opening these things up and having them around for a few hours. I called Zappo's for advice and they were very kind, even called Keen. But the smell has persisted despite wiping the soles down and airing them out really well. Anyone who has any kind of sensitivity to smells or chemicals might better leave these alone.
