These shoes are amazingly comfy. I bought the beet red and wore them from San Francisco to Paris, Paris to Istanbul, walked around the city and out to dinner all in one day. After having them for three weeks I would say the only drawback is that after wearing them all day my feet smell horrid and this has never happened to me with ANY shoe. One of the shoes came and there was a spot on the top of the shoe that appears to be a drop of glue from when they glue the rubber sole on. Too bad I didn't have time to return them before my trip. Other than this I'm happy with my purchase but quality control should have spotted this imperfection before shipping them.

This shoe is a cute as it looks in the picture. Every time I wear them, I get compliments and "Oh where did you get those?!" questions. However, as mentioned by a past reviewer, the smell is extremely repugnant! I have several pairs of Keens, and most of them don't smell badly at all. The most accurate description I can give is of rubbery bandaids. At best, new bandaids, after a long time of wear, old bandaids. They do wash easily in the washer, and dry without water marks, but the smell never goes away (if you wash them, you'll just get them back to new rubbery bandaid smell). Honestly, if you wiggle your toes, the rubber/bandaid smell wafts upwards. As far as comfort, they're okay for walking short distances and having a job where you may stand often. Yet, unlike some other Keens I've had, these don't perform well if you are walking more than a mile in them. I got big blisters from walking three or four miles in them one evening. As a side note, while they look great with pants, I think they slightly resemble house slippers when you wear them with skirts, shorts, or capris (but this could just be me).

Comfortable, lightweight, easy to put on. I have a narrow foot which usually causes lots of extra strap to hang, but the strap makes it possible to twist it a few times before velcro-ing. A nice snug fit across the arch. I would buy other colors, if not for one thing. Like one other reviewer, the only difficulty I have with these shoes is the horrible rubbery smell. I have to keep them in the garage to air out all the time when not wearing them. Sad because I would wear them more, if not for the smell. No matter what fragrance I have on, all I can smell is rubber. I plan to wash them in vinegar water and see if that helps. At this point, even the vinegar smell would be better.

I love, love, love keens and was quickly drawn to this style. These shoes are support cute, very light, and sturdy. The HUGE downside is that they are NOT BREATHABLE at all. The result...sweaty, stinky feet. Wear with caution. I do not have particularly sweaty feet and have found these to be problematic.

Thank you to Zappos for another show of great service. To Keen, the smell of this shoe! It smells like you are wearing a body suit of band aids all day. The more your feet heat up the more noticeable the smell of the shoe. The pair I received also had a drop of glue stain on the top of the right shoe! I really thought about sending them back considering the cost of the shoe (and with a stain)? But, I kept them and rubbed the stain with a wet rag. Came off a little but I still know it's there even if no one else notices. On a positive, the shoe is extremely comfortable and cute. It's like wearing your house shoes to work. Just without the fuzzies. Oh, definitely buy a half size smaller than you normally wear!!!

I really wanted to like these shoes! First sizing-I usually wear an 8 medium and I have wide toes and a narrow heel. I ordered a 7.5 in these and they fit my feet perfectly. The front is stretchy and the back strap can be adjusted enough to give a good fit. I didn't really like the patterned strap; I would've liked them better plain and in more neutral colors. Now for the biggest problem: they are nicely cushioned in the footbed, however, I have issues with heel pain and I could just tell from the get-go that these didn't have enough arch support to keep me happy with all-day wearing. I've been looking for a nice casual/sporty MJ to wear without socks this spring. Unfortunately, I can't keep these because of the lack of arch support and because they are just a touch too "loud" looking.

Loved the funky color and look of these shoes. Very comfortable arch support and I think they would be a great shoe. However, I was amazed that the strap is sewn permanently in place and doesn't adjust. They were too wide and without being able to adjust the width, I was sad to have to return them. Probably not a good choice for anyone with a somewhat narrow foot. Will try a style that offers an adjustable strap.

Weird shoe!!! I wish I’d listened to the many reviewers who said how hot and un-breathable the fabric is, how strong and toxic the chemical odor from that synthetic material! My feet felt suffocated after 3 minutes. The beet color was so lovely and the style so cute and the sole so well cushioned that I was determined to like them. I left them out of the box for a couple days to see if they would air out. Not at all. The smell was horrible and though I kept trying them on from time to time - my feet felt clammy every time. They have to go back! I wanted to like them so much because they are so cushy and cute, but I can’t tolerate the other features. I have a fairly wide B width foot and bunions and these were great though the straps - just as other reviewers said - are way too long. Don’t know what I’d have done about that had I kept them. I’m thinking of the Keen Chamonix since it’s leather - maybe it will feel better. Not a mary jane though. Better for autumn.

These shoes are gorgeous. I'd love to keep them, but unfortunately, they are not made of breathable material. I tried them on for 20 minutes at home and my feet were hot and sweaty. Yuck.
