These were wider than I anticipated. The area around the ankle comes up kind of high. It's OK after I've been wearing it for a while but I get some chafing at first and couldn't wear it without socks. The tongue also comes up higher than expected and has a tendency to fold over itself just above where one's toes meet one's feet. Barely any arch support to speak of, but not enough room for an insole unless you go up 1/2 size.

I am a size 9, I have a narrow heel, pretty flat feet. Keens usually work the best out of most shoes as long as I can lace them. These are more comfy than Chucks. The canvas gas structure, unlike Chucks, thus more support. I ordered the yellowish color (olive?) and the black. I am keeping the yellow for sure because I love the color and there's less contrast between the color and the white toe. The black for me feels like clown shoes. All I see is a big white rubber toe. I wish they'd knock back the rubber some. And maybe put a ribbed texture or something. And make it black. or gray. Some contrast, not stark. Keen, hire me to design shoes!

Cute shoe for jeans and shorts. Not the most comfortable tennis show I've every had but definitely cute.

I really love these shoes, they have a nice retro look updated with the supportive Keen soul and toe. I thought they would need a lot of breaking in time as they felt so stiff but that wasn't the case, they softened up right away. The width was fine and I added an arch insert, for which there was plenty of room. Unfortunately for me, after a day of wearing them, my big toes felt squashed from hitting the end. I can't return them of course, so will have to spring for another, larger pair.

Unlike another pair of Keens I own, these were true to size (I wear them with socks). The padding under the heel feels nice, but there is no arch support. They can be a little irritating behind the heels, but I am breaking them in and have no blisters yet. They lace up kind of high on the foot; these cannot be slipped on and off without undoing the laces, which are adequately long. The shoes come with two sets of laces. For my pair (brindle), I got one set in white and one in brown.

I love this sneaker except for one thing. The tongue of if slips down and bunches up toward the base of the laces. It's really annoying. I sewed the tongue down at the first two grommets and that seems to have resolved it.

I love this sneaker! Comfortable to wear all day on my feet. The only suggestion I have is to make the tongue on the sneaker stay up! It is always sliding down on me. Would love to purchase another pair if that was fixed! I have a wider foot and these are a great fit!

I love these shoes, but if you do not loosen the laces a lot are hard to get on.

Wow, these are so cute but really are not size 11's. I can wear all the other Keen styles in size 11, but this had my big toe bent double. It felt more like my daughter's size 10 shoes.

I got these instead of the Coronados because I liked the colors and the style better. They are not as comfy as the regular Keens (I have four different other pairs) and as some other reviews say, the canvas is stiff and the back edge of the shoe cuts into the back of your foot. Unfortunately I wore them outdoors for one day before I realized I was getting a blister so I can't return them. They are just cute enough so that I will have to suck it up and buy some blister pads. the Red is actually more purple/pink but I don't have an issue with that.

Super cute comfy although I felt that they ran a bit small on the length and had to return them.

More cute than comfortable; very stiff canvas and bottoms out of the box. I own other Keens that have less of the "steel toe" feeling and are more flexible. I was on the fence about returning them because I'd need them to break in before I could wear them regularly. I had faith that they would break in because of brand loyalty - I own two other Keen shoes that have taken much abuse! So I took them off and squished and twisted the shoes in every direction, then put on heavy socks. Much better! I have a high arch and narrow feet; I'm happy with the width and I was not expecting good arch support with this style. The color Harvest Gold is a little darker/browner than I expected, but I like it. The heavy toe box will be good for summer activities.

Sneakers hurt for the first week and gave me blisters on both feet. Had to wear a big band-aid on the back of both feet for the first week. Not as comfy as other Keens I own, but they do look good and I wear them a lot!

I read all the reviews about the discomfort of the stiff heel but I thought I would try them anyway. The top edge of the heel is definitely a blister maker, but when I added my Birkinstock inserts to the shoe, they felt much better. It gave them the needed extra arch support and brought my foot up high enough so the edge was not cutting into me. I love the looks of them!

The shoe is so cute and I really wanted it to work but it came up too high on my foot. It rubbed my ankle all the way around.

I ordered these shoes and got them the very next day. Zappos is the best! Unfortunately, I had to return these shoes. The color was way more red than I had anticipated. And they were very stiff and uncomfortable. For that kind of money, I want to be happy with my purchase. So they are going back. Very disappointed in the shoe. But I have already ordered a different style of sneaker to replace these. They should be here tomorrow and I'm so very excited! Thank you, Zappos!

At first, the canvas on the ankles was stiff and I was afraid they would be uncomfortable but after a day or two, they became more pliable. They aren't for hiking or walking around all day on a flat surface, but for everyday, normal use they're great.

These shoes are super cute and functional. I was looking for an everyday tennis shoe that would keep my feet dry without looking like a clunky hiking shoe. For this purpose, they are great. The only drawback is how stiff they are on the heel/ankle. Other reviews mention this and state that it gets better overtime. I'm on day one and I can already feel them digging into my heels and ready to take them off actually. But, hoping they work themselves in.

These shoes are so cute! The color is a little darker than the picture, and they will take some breaking in, they are a little stiff in the heel area. Quality is good, but not a lot of cushion to them. But overall they are great, and I really like them. Zappos if the Best place ever, never any problems and the people are great! Thank you Zappos!

I have wide feet so keen hiking shoes and sandals typically work for me, and this felt true to size when you consider they are better for wide feet like me. But something about the flat sole of this shoe made it feel especially heavy and blocky.

For a Keen, I found this shoe uncomfortable. The grommets rub on the feet and the tongue is sewn in weird. Going back.

Cute shoes. I originally ordered the brindle color and really liked them. They have a removable foot bed for my orthotics. They are a little heavy for a canvas shoe but I didn't mind so I actually ordered more in different colors. I was very disappointed with the rest of them. (blue, pink & multicolor) I tried on each pair and couldn't walk around my house in them for more than 5 minutes because all 3 pairs rubbed so badly on my ankle that I had to take them off. Bummed! All three pairs are going back. Keeping the brindle pair because those fit just fine. I have an average foot, not narrow or wide. Thin ankles. I wear a size 7.5 and a size 7.5 fit fairly well length wise. I think they would leave room for a wider foot than mine as well as I feel there is plenty of room width wise. I wear them with socks, thicker than a trouser sock but not thicker than a sport sock.

I have previously bought two pairs of Keens and loved them. I'm able to walk in them for long periods of time and felt perfectly comfortable. This pair is entirely different. Materials and workmanship of this pair seems quite interior. Not comfortable at all. Cute shoe but very disappointed in the quality. Will return in hopes of finding a better style. Not giving up on Keens just yet.

I totally agree with the reviewer about adding padding to the heel. I have been wearing Keens for years and the heels of this particular sneaker completely destroyed my heels too. I kept wearing them, because I loved them so much, and it took me a really long time to break them in. They did eventually, but man it hurt at first.

These are much too wide for my feet (I have narrow feet though, so not a surprise) and they cut my heels up badly, even though my socks are high enough to protect my skin from the shoe. The only way I can prevent it is to wear Band-Aids. So, I am returning them.
